After a Confulsion he seemed to jerk awake. His brain foggy from the shock as well as unsure where he was he quickly made his way to the corridor outside the Cargo bay and to a TL."Where am I. Owell guess ill just head to my Quarters, Can't do any harm there."

Thelis looked to the Captain and Commander in confusion as the engineer simply picked himself up without acknowledging anyone and walked from the bay.
"Sir? I think he should remain under observation. There may be affects we are unaware of."

Hearing the Captain's words her tail twitched. "Understood Captain and I personally will deal with them myself Sir." Before he could reply she ran out of the Shuttle Bay and made way to Main Engineering.

He noted the tail swinging from Buford, he learning that is happiness in the canine officer, or laughter. He spoke in his odd manner "Iz can sniff her out with my big schnozzle" his tail swings more faster "The Nose knows"
His own tail spiraled into a helix "Indeed, Mr. Buford. Your nose is even more sensitive then my own."
He heard a movement from behiind him and he turned as his chief engineer got up and quickly exit the cargo bay as if something had struck him to do something. He was about to go after him, to talk to him when Thelis spoke up saying that he should be under observation. He turned back to Thelis "My thoughts exactly, Lt. I will assign some security personnel to watch him. "
The next moment, Kefira loped out saying something that she would personally take care of them. She didn't give him a chance to respond. He turned back to Thelis, asking "What other experiments are you wishing to perform, Mr. Thelis?"
Before Thelis could respond, he heard Kefira on his communicator. Her report had him shaking his head and his tail twitching "Cadet, whether you know it or not, we are docked at Star base 240 for repairs so if they say they are repeair men, then I would believe them. As much as I admire your enthusiasm, you are sticking your tail in where it shouldn't be. Release the repair me to do their job and take some time to relax, which happens to be the other reason why we're here."

He sighed. "I'd like to suggest a change in tactics, Sir. I'd like to try and download the instructions you're receiving to our own system. Instead of objectively, maybe we can study it subjectively. "
"The only question is how to establish the link. Do you think you could instruct the ship to send the information there or is it possible you might be able to create a direct connection yourself?"

She entered the cargo hold and from where she stood she could see no reason why her leave was interrupted. But she walked over to where everyone was standing. In a cheerful voice she began.
"Someone call for a doctor?"

His ears bent forward as Thelis suggested a change in tactics, he listened to the science officer. He listened as he explained downloading of the small craft's instructions and systems analysis into the Terrasect's computers
His ears quivered in thought as Thelis questioned Do you think you could instruct the ship to send the information there or is it possible you might be able to create a direct connection yourself?"
He was about to comment on a theory to Thelis when, he turned as he heard someone approaching. From his sense of smell, he could already tell it is Doctor MacAuley "Yes, someone did call for a doctor, several minutes ago. I do apologize for calling you back from leave but I thought.." He paused and glanced at Thelis, then back to MacAuley "..we thought it would be best to see how this craft effectiveness on my person will be harmful or will it.. he cooperate and work together with me.. us." as a crew "In other words, I believe I would need something to monitor my mental and physical abilities and see if there is a way to remove it in case something should go wrong
He turned back to Thelis. "I can attempt to ask him whether he would download some of his systems information into the computer so we can look over the information and determine his abilities."

"Please do. If you're successful or even if you're not, we can tell something of what it may or may not allow." Thelis looked at the Captain curiously. "Why do you keep referring to the ship as a 'he', Sir?

He simply nodded as Thelis asked him to attempt to communicate with the craft and have 'him' download any imformation that would be useful, then glanced at him as he asked why he kept referring to the craft as a he or a him. The answer was simple "Because he asked me to refer to him as such." he said with a spiral to his tail
While he waited for Thelis' response, he used the time to commincate with the craft, asking if 'he' would share any information

He Entered the Bay," Strange to find one in their quarters when they do not remember leaving the cargo bay" He caressed the Ships hull gently. he then pressed his ear against the hull Lats mood was more serene and gentle than before.Spoke softly his ear still pressed against the hull."You okay Captain? Buford is right she" he paused to gently pat the Ship, "She purrs."He could not explain nor had he even ask why but before he saw only a Ship but the shock it was almost as if Something. he blinked then smiled his ear still pressed against it. "Its alive to you right Captain? i mean really alive?"

"He..asked you to.." Thelis raised an eyebrow. "How does he know he's a he ? And in the event that "he" is, would he object to intimate contact?"
Thelis had followed the engineer's return to the Cargo Bay with curiosity as he appeared to ignore them standing there and focus his attention almost exclusively on the ship, stroking it as if it were a pet.
"Doctor MacAuley, I think perhaps the engineer might need your assistance as well."

Buford watched and Listened, his eyes looked at CENG who looked like he was Petting the ship
His ears raised a bit and his tail wagged "You giving intimate contact to the ship, would you not be giving intimate contact to the Captain as well?" he asks "As the Captain would feel it?" he adds

As soon as the Ferengi Engineer started caressing the side of the craft's hull, the craft's feel changed from warm and soft to cold and hard. like any average surface of a hull. A child-like voice would sound in the cargo bay "Stop touching me!"
The voice would come from Captain Two Dawns, without his realization

He hears a what sounds like a child's voice, his tail wags faster "Sounds like he don't like that Chief"

The Chief Engineer would return, saying something about not remember leaving, then walked up and started caressing the craft. He would feel very uncomfortable as he would also feel the caresses then the feelings stopped but Lat was still caressing the side of the ship. His tail whipped and he growled a bit, having a mind to go over and cuff the Chief to make him stop "I am fine, Chief, except you being intimate with that craft." He turned his irritation to Thelis 'I do not know. How do you know you are a he or Doctor MacAuley knows that she is a she? I think that question is irrelevant and you should start.." He is cut off by the child like voice, not realizing it was him that uttered it. His ears flicked back and his tail stiffened "Who and where did that come from?" in his normal voice
