Considering that the repairs and maintence have been completed, I thought that I should get my hours in to brush up on some new engineering information. This is one of the few rare moments that I have, so I might as well enjoy it while it last.

After we came back from Romulas, there hardly any repairs that needed to be done. I have came to find out that person or persons have stolen some federation ships from the shipyard that suppose to be destroyed. I've looked through the data base for any engineering advantages or disadvantages each federation ship that was stolen, so that we have more advantages on our side.

There only has been a few minor repairs. Including a bulkhead that needed to be repair. It seems that one of the security officers have missed fired during weapons training in the firing range that is located in the marine training area. I had a repair team to check that out and to repair it quickly. Also, I gotten some reports about the transporters and have a second repair team to check that out as well.
After checking the secondary systems, I've noticed a small minor problem with a conduit. With just rerouting the power and changing out the damaged conduit, the problem should be taken care of.

I had engineering personnel well prepared for a battle situation. During each shift, I always have two teams in every engineering field there is in engineering department, including for the away mission. Checked on the fuel systems, power transfer conduits, along with various other systems checked out in normal ranges. Once we gotten into battle and gotten hit several times on the port side, I transfered some power from the back up power to the port side shields, bringing their shields back up to 98%. During the battle, I have sent out several engineering teams to different decks for repairs.

My transfer over to the USS Tawara as CENG has been approved. Soon, I will pack several of my things and projects I have made over the long months I have been on the New York. Of course, I will leave a copy of one of my lastest projects, the exoskeleton suit, to the new CENG that will replace me on USS New York. I have heard that the new NY CENG is Romulan. I'm sure that Captain would enjoy another romulan on board. ::He gives a smirk.:: I have heard that she comes highly recommended.
::He checks the time.:: I must end this log here.

::He taps on the console a bit more, making a copy of one of his projects on one of the engineering CENG computers.::

@@chief Engineering Log@@ @begin Log@ My transfer was expected and I was able gather what information that I needed before my duty shift started. Coming to find out that we were under a battle situation. There was on paticuliar hit we gotten in the engineering section, which did cause some of the consoles explode with, which were only minor. There were a few engineering personal that gotten injuried during the hit. Riov, along the rest of the crew, does seem to work together very well. Especially considering the circumstances we were in. I have noticed that one of the assistant medical officers looked just like me in appearances. May need to look through the lineage to see if we could be related some how. @@end Log@@

Chief Engineer Officer Begin Log USS New York was docked at one of the Starbases in Romulan Empire. This would give each one of us some time to enjoy ourselves. Once I reached my quarters, I have changed into my Romulan uniform. I find the Federation uniform to be very uncomfrontable. I know that my father would be proud of me of serving a Romulan Riov. It does make me feel better to know that I am serving my Empire and my Riov. I was able to meet Riov Radaik in the lounge and was able to give her my loyality to her and to the Romulan Empire. I rather be put to death than betray the Romulan Empire, the ship, crew and the Riov. End Log

Chief Engineer Officer's Log Begin Log Some of the crew that were from RSE Dhivael visited USS New York for dinner. The same invite was also extended to us on the RSE Dhivael. It has been a great knowing some of the crew on RSE Dhivael. Of course, ToQ some how could find blood wine hidden somewhere on the ship. Even with the minor distraction, it is good to associate with more Romulans. End Log

We have finished our repairs and upgrades at the starbase in our (Romulan) space. It was later on did I found out that a cloaking device was installed on the ship. Something I am more familiar with. The device was installed in correctly, nothing showed up incorrect. Not long after living the starbase, I was informed to have the cloaking device online.
While the cloaking device was online, I made sure that it was running the way it should be. It was not long before I have found out that we were under battle station and that there was a ship carrying a th'ann (prisoner), Reman, who is a known terrorist. Moreover, there is a rumor that there is a group that may try to rescue this Dha'rudh (total idiot). I despise such people.

Before we went into battle, I made sure that everything was up to standard in engineering. Once I noticed that the cloaking device was disengaged, I knew that it won't be long before we are fired upon. I made sure that there were plenty of power routed to the shields and weapons. When the intruder alert was sounded, I made my engineer personnel to be on guard while we continue on repairs and maintences.

There has been an intruder alert on board and I made sure that my choice of weapon was ready in case any intruders actually came into main engineering. After being hit a few times, our shields went down to 97% and deck 7 was damaged. With rerouting of power to the shields where it was weak, I was able to repair the major damages.
There, of course, will be some huge reports for me to work on after working on all the repairs.

I was able to fix the rest of the repairs on board. Helping to keep the shields up and weapons powered up for the tactical officer. Also keeping back up power ready for useage. Despite the constant use of engines and other systems on the ship, I was able to maintain them at the acceptable heights.
I will keep an eye out on the engines when there is a sudden drop in impulse or increase of speed.

Just when my engineering teams and I had gotten all repairs done when all Areinnye (hell) broke loose. First, the cloak had a glitch, which was quickly fixed. Then we were attacked, causing our shields to go down drastically, along with the forcefields in the brig, which will take awhile to repair. A few of the shield generators needed to be repaired. I may just sleep 2 hours a day to keep up with the repairs for the next few weeks.

Before my duty shift was over, I would make sure that everything was repaired on schedule and that all systems have powr, including back up power.
After going off duty, I went to the lounge to get me something to eat while I look over some engineering reports. Even though I do need some rest, I would like to catch up on my reports before my next shift.

As I was running dianostics, one of the consoles nearby exploded. I have found out that one of the conduits overloaded, causing the console to explode. I was able to reroute power from that console and worked on repairing the conduits, along with the wiring. Before I could do that, I had to work on getting the glitch in the cloaking device fixed, which did not take me long.
After I replaced the conduits and the wiring, I have cut myself while placing the panel back up on the console. I would be needing to have the Maenek (Doctor) to check my hand.
