Someone by the name of Crewman Gerald Yellens is possing as one of the ship's Engineering Maintance. Whom could be the person who may have committed the murders. I normally have a daily meeting with my engineers for reports and I would have known the name Crewmen Gerald Yellens. There is one problem, I don't know any engineer by that name.
Lt Jg Candela Montag and I both can't comfirm what speices he is, but Montag did pick up atrail of Garaik sauce. An Orion delicacy. And one that Lyrans have an affection for like catnip.
Of how he had gotten onto the ship is something that we have to investigate. Something that the Colonel have said that I didn't catch him say. Come to find out, that he said that he was already off the ship after the murders were commited. Meaning.. no investigation.
Ms. Jaris seemed to picked up some kind of ship that was using a holomitter or a cloaking device. We all know that it has to be a Lyran who could have done the killings. The way that they have comminted the murders. Andriods wouldn't kill in that way. The CMO had found DNA behind that was Lyrans. And there was no way that an Android would leave DNA because they do not have DNA.
The more the Doctor tries to tell the XO that it could be no way that it would be an Android, the more annoyed she had gotten for not being heard.

While we are making our way to a Science Starbase to drop off a Scientist, I had run system checks on the ship's subroutines. There were few minor repairs to a few replicators and to one transporters. I already have my teams on that already. There wasn't really any engineering supplies that we need other than a few extra gel packs and isolinear chips.
The internal power grid to the warp core and to the other parts of the ship are working properly. I have made sure that there were enough power to the primary and the secondary systems. Also making sure that there is some power in back up systems.
The primary and the secondary plasma conduits to the warp core are working properly like they should be. No damges there.
Even though I may have checked them earlier during the day, I always wanted to make sure that they are still working properly through out the day.
Some people may see it as excessively for me to use internal scans, but I assume that they have figured out that I always check them more than just once. It has always been a habit of mine. I always feel like that I could be missing something if I didn't check the systems more than once.
Lt Candela Montag had informed about some static and to see if I could get one of my engineers to fix the alignment on the main transcier. It only took my engineers to get the main transcier aligned right. Seems like that I have taught them well. ::He smirked.::
After we have dropped the scientists onto the Starbase, Captain Radaik had told us that we would be heading to the Romulan Neutral Zone. This has to be something that is interesting that will unfold soon.
On a personal note, ::Justin leans back into his chair.:: I can never been happier until the day that I have married Kwin and to find out that I will become a father. ::He smiled.:: I remember the first day that I have seen her. She was ever so beautiful and always will be. I had made my move to go up to her and get to know her. In time, our feelings for each other have had developed. I remember that first kiss that we had. ::He smiled.::

We are on our way to the Romulan Neutral Zone and I wanted to make sure that each of the ship's systems are working properly. Especially the shields. I have heard through the grape vine that one of the crewmembers has the Romulan virus. Althought I'm not familiar with it, I have made sure that the transporter biofilters can identify it and take care of it.
Although I am a little uneasy going into Romulan space, but I do trust the Captain that everything will go well.
Some may see my consistent checking of the ship's systems as compulsive, but you can't be too sure if everything will run smoothly if you only check it once.
On a personal note, everything is wonderful. ::He smiled.:: Kwin does mean alot to me and I have fallen deeply in love with her the first day that I have seen her. I have never been so happier until the day that we have gotten married and to find out that I will become a father once again. Kwin and my family means everything to me. ::He looks over at Kwin, who is in thier bedroom, with a smile.:: Like I have said, everything is wonderful. More than wonderful. ::He said in such a way that it was more than sensual to the sound.:: ::He turns the computer off as he was beckon to bed.::

There have been a few minor repairs on the ship. Just a few replicators, a turbo lift and one transporter that needed to be fixed. Once we have arrived at one of the Romulan Starbases, Captain Radaik wanted me to send three of my engineers over to the starbase. There seems to be some kind of malfuntions with their communications and other systems that needed to be repaired. Knowing my engineers, they will get the job done in no time at all.

I have arrived on the LP space station and had begun running a level one dianostic on the system. I have noticed of how different the Romulan station's system and the Federation station's systems are different. If I would done any higher than a level one dianostic, I wouldn't know if there was where to begin.
During the level one dianostic, I have noticed that there were some minor repairs and had went on repairing them. It didn't take me long to finish what I was doing and decided to run a double check on the systems.
After some time of repairing some minor damages, the Romulan engineers had came on board the LP station and took over where I have left off. I had have briefed them of the report that I have done so far and then went my way back on USS New York.
I've maintained the ship's systems at a good condition and made sure that there were enough power in stand by. The plasma relays and the grids are in excellent order.

Kwin and I had a wonderful time on Bajor. She was able to take me to some of her childhood spots while she was growing up. Each one has a wonderful memory to them. One night, we ended up sleeping in the fields of a favorite spot of hers as a child. ::He smiled.:: Just looking up at the stars as we laid there. While Kwin slept in my arms, I could feel Pagh kicking around, making himself noticed. That's my son. ::He chuckles a bit.::
Lorna and Tsolran, Kwin's neice, seems to be hitting it off really well. Lorna has always been a little sister and never had someone to look up to her. But when Tsolran came around, Lorna had so much joy. Something that I never seen in her before. She quite loved having someone look up to her as a big sister. I'm very proud and happy for her.

Colonel Stevenson had us on one of the attack drills while we were still in Romulan space. Each ship's system had checked out normally as usually and I have made sure that there was some power in back up. Colonel Stevenson had asked me for any sugguestions on picking up the new variants on the Klingon ship that is just on the outskirts of the Klingon and Romulan Neutral Zone.
It would seem that the drill was a success. Each department have passed with flying colors. Execpt for the Transporter Chief, whom I'm just about to give a few choice words to him once I am done with Engineering.

While we were still under yellow alert, I continued to check several of the ship's systems. Lately, I have been having problems with the transporters and needed to have them checked out to see what is causing them to be so screwy. I'm afraid that if I don't get them fixed, I may not be as outstanding as I once was.
While I was trying to check the ship's systems, I had realized that I was transfered over with the away team. I didn't even know that I suppose to be on the away team. Didn't even get a chance to prepare myself. But I had one of the NPC AENGs to transport my engineering tools for me. So much trying to get a few minor details done on the ship. They will be there when I get back.

Once I have been transported, along with the away team, to the freighter, I immediately begun to work on major repairs. Working to repair most of the cicuritary in the primary and secondary grids. While trying to finish repairing the damages, I was told that there is an emergancy transport for the away team back to the New York. I wasn't for sure why. All I know that when I gotten back onto the ship, the freighter went up in a ball of flames. As of why, I'm not for sure at the moment, but will find out at a later time.
When I headed back to Main Engineering, I had found out that there is a new crewmember and so happened to be the new Assistant Engineering Officers. Now, I could get some help in engineering.

Since that I was on the away team, I had to head over to sickbay to be cleared for duty. I'm not for sure why I would be needing a check up, but if that is what the Captain had ordered us to do, then getting cleared for duty it shall be.
After being cleared for duty, I headed over to Main Engineering and began to check the power relay grids and the ship's array systems. I need to make note to check the transporters out and see if anything is out of alignment.

Lt Jr Yhea Thrienteh gave me a PADD containing a flaw of the design of the ship. There seems to be that the shields and the life supports are using the same power conduits. In the most worse cause scenario, we may have to drop shields in order to keep life support up.
It would be an easy fix for me to fix. All I need to do is to make another power conduit for the shields. In that way that each would have their own power conduits to relay power to them. This would be on the top list of repairs that would be needing to attend to. There are repairs that would be needing to take care of since the freighter had exploded.
During when I was working on the power conduits for the shields and the life supports, Lt Col. Stevenson wanted me to modify the shields on the ship to facilitate the large amount of radiation that would lie ahead of us.
Ensign Vadaldie and Lt Jaris was able to help me considerable. If it wasn't for them and the constant team work, it would be too much for one person to do a huge job. Team work is the key word to make sure that the ship is running smoothly.
After over hearing about traitors and what words associates with them, several of them come to mind. Cowards is one of them. The others are too vulgar to say on the log.
The power to the conduits seems to be working on considerably now since I've worked on the power conduits. Even after modulating the shielding to protect us from the high radiation should also work very quite considerable as well.

We have finished our repairs on the ship and have begun to run several dianostics on the ship's systems to make sure that everything was running smoothly. Captain Radaik had let it be known that we are heading into battle that would help both the Romulan and the Federation. That we will be on a silent run until our orders have been told to us.
It wouldn't take long before the silent run had ended and the battle had begun. Ensign Vadaldie had reported that there is an inconsitancy in one of the cooling units power out put. If secondary power is used alone, we may end up lossing the warp drive. Regulating the power output by rerouting the power to another cooling unit should be able to work until the other one is fixed.
After several hits, the shields have dropped down to 93% and currently holding until after a few more hits to where it dropped down to 80%. I've rerouted more power to the shields to keep it up. When I have glanced over at Ensign Vadaldie, I've noticed that something wasn't right. As if something was trying to distract her from her duties.
Ensign Vadaldie had informed me of a problem in the shift of powers. Also that the same fluxuations in the coolant have now showed up on both systems. It is possible that there is a coolant coil that may have been damaged. I have ordered a dianostics on the coolants to see if any were damaged. Ensign Vadaldie had reported that there was a crack on the lower part of the coil that was getting bigger. I've ordered that it would be repaired.

There were some minor repairs that would be needing to take care of. I would be needing to send Vadaldie off to repair most of them as I would take care of helm as well. We are only a day or two in order to link up to the Romulan forces at 3/4 impulse.
Ensign Vadaldie had reported back to me, after repairing them, that they are at 100%. The other repairs are also were coming along better than usual. While still keeping on course, I managed to check on the secondary plasma grid for any signs of problems. None have shown up as of yet.
Kwin should be having Pagh, our son, in about a month. I'm very thrilled and happy to be a father again. I would imagine of how he would look like and how he would be. From the first moment that I have set eyes on Kwin, I knew that I had found someone very special to me. Someone special that I would love with all my heart, mind, and soul. When one waits for a new love to arrive, what joy comes to their hearts. And my heart is filled with great joy and happiness.

We have started to our mission on the planet side of Romulas. Splitting up in three teams. I would be with LtJG Tyler Baccus and LtJG Anarra Danrea as team 3. We are to capture Ri'pak and his officers and any contra band items that they may have. These are the same ones that the Romulans grew to detest because of their dishonorable acts. Even though I am human, but I do detest their acts as well. I grew up in a family that such acts were dishonorable.
We continued on course and had not yet found anything as of yet. Until about 100 meters out when I have found a few crates with romulan ale. After destroying it, we continued on with the search. It wasn't to far ahead that we have found some female slaves for the slave market. I would find this very demeaning to any species. Especially to woman. To use them as slaves. They, too, also have rights just like a man does and they should be respected.
After we came up to them, we were under fire from a cave near by. Some time had past when the traitors were killed and we had to bring the slave girls back to the command center. Along with bringing the contra band into a pile.

Before I was able to begin on the current mission, there were some issues that had came up that I needed to have taken care off. I do hope that this issue would be resolved before I could get a chance to help in the current mission. I do not like being left behind and not able to help my crewmates, but some issues does arise at times. I just hate it with a passion that I'm not able to do my duties as an engineer. I feel lilke that I would be letting down my team if I am not able to do my duties. I just hope that this doesn't reflect badly on me nor on my record.
Once I have arrived back on mission, I had found myself around the compound and then heavy firing had started. I have not realized until the XO jumped on my butt that we were suppose to fire on a few Romulans. I feel like that I have failed at my duties. Matter in fact, I know I have failed at my duties and shouldn't be where I am at now for being a failure. I almost had caused someone's life for not doing my duties.
But despite the failure on my part, the mission did go without a problem, Captain Ri'Pak was taken prisoner and only a few crewmembers were injuried. I should have made sure that my crewmembers weren't injuried. I take this upon myself as failure on my part of not protecting my crewmembers. I will make sure that I will do better on my next mission in that way I won't fail again.

After having myself checked out by the Doctor, I went back to Main Engineering and begun to check several systems and coils. At the end of my shift, I had gotten a transmission from Kwin that our son, Pagh Kinsely, has been born. I am so happy to hear the great news, but it does sadden me a bit that I wasn't there for the birth. Kirk, Daniel, and Lorna expressed their joy of having a little brother to the growing family.
Once the Beta shift had started, I have went to the ten foward lounge. Ensign Vadaldie came with me for a drink to congradulate me on the birth of my son. To celebrate Pagh's birth.
