Engineering has gone well and all systems have been running as they should be. I had to report to sickbay for my physical, which I hate doing, but must be done. The Kinselys are always in excellent health and had hardly anything wrong.
After my phyiscal, I returned back to engineering and continued to finish maintainence on the ship. Making sure that everything went smoothly as possible.

I had remained in engineering, working on the last few engineering reports and helped to check for any problems that may come up in the ship's system. During the course of checking the ship's systems, I was told that there is a Staff meeting being held in the Ready Room. I had gotten there just at the tail end of it. Captain Radaik said that she will send me a report on the meeting. I had came to find out that the meeting was for the away team and that not all of the Senior Staff was called to the meeting. In the mean time, I will wait to find out what the meeting was all about and see if engineering could lend a hand somewhere.

I had lost a good engineering officer. Lt JG Vadaldie had decided to resign due to some personal issues. I do wish her well in her journey.
While in engineering, I have made sure that everything was well taking care of. Making sure that the systems were monitored consistently. I made sure that the sensors were enhanced so that the bridge crew were able to use them.
I have heard that Captain Radaik will be needing a few volunteers for some demolations. Once I have heard this, I had let her know that I am up for the job. In the meantime, I have some research to do until our next mission. I do have some ideas of weapons that could be used in demolations. I have intentions to share these with whomever volunteered in the demoloations.

After I had collected the data and items that I needed for an away mission, I have made my way to the transporter room and met up with the rest of the away team. I have decided to bring a few more explosives in case the security teams need more of them.
We were assembled to demolition the cave, where the resistence's fighters were located at. Sam and I were able to give cover over the Security teams as they place the explosive devices in place. Once the devices were in place, we were to fall back and beam back on board the ship.
Once I, along with the rest of the away team, the mission seems to went with no major problems.

There were only a few minor problems that needed to be fixed, one of them being a turbo lift near engineering. Once I have gotten the report about it, I went to check on the turbo lift and found out that there was a problem with a conduit. I have to replace the damaged conduit with a new one. Which took no time for me to change it out.
After returning back to main engineering, I made sure that there was enough power to the shields, weapons and that there was back up power on standby.
No one would want the shields and weapons failing while in battle.

Despite the on going battle, there has been only relative few problems in engineering. There were only a few adjustments that needed to be done and a few damaged conduits that needed to be changed. All in all, engineering has been doing very well so far.

When I returned back to my duty, I have came to found out that I have a new assistant engineer officer assigned to me. Ensign Don Webber was assigned to me for further training. Just about when I was training him with the adjustments that tactical sent to engineering, Colonel Stevenson has me on an away mission. Before I gathered my engineering tools for the away mission, Ensign Webber and I worked on a few of the adjustments.
Once I gathered my engineering tools, I left Ensign Webber in charge of engineering until I get back. Although he is new, I do have faith that he would work very well in engineering.
After transporting down to the surface, I have meet up with Zan, along with a message from one of the ASEC that the engineering teams need to be careful, considering that there are still land mines still active. Until they are disarmed, I have the engineering teams held back for now.

After the land mines were taken care of, I was able to take care of the repairs that they have. A power specialist was called to the other away team, which I made sure that one was provided for them. Before I arrive back on the ship, I made sure that each repairs were done and working properly. An engineer always double checks to make sure everything is working as they should be.

There has been only a few repairs that were needed. There were a few damaged conduits to the primary systems that needed to be changed out. I simply rerouting the power through the secondary conduits before replacing the primary conduits. After working on the conduits and transfering the power back through the primary conduits, I went to review some engieering data, which also include some engineering supplies that we may need on our next stop to SB. I will hand this in to Colonel Stevenson once my shift nearly ends.

We were given shoreleave while the ship went under repairs by the SB engieers. I feel more content helping out with the repairs, but it was already requested that all crewmembers go on shoreleave. When I arrived on Romulas, I decided to look at a few shops. I have found a paticular Romulan game that was simular to the one back home, a cube like game. After purching the cube like game, I decided to walk through a muesum that has numerous Romulan artifacts.

After checking out the muesem, I thought that I needed the fresh air and took a walk down one of the parks that I have heard that is very famous for long walks. I have noticed of how different the trees are compared back home on Scotland. Wonderful view, I might add myself. There is still some time lift in the shoreleave and the park is still there for me to take a walk along.

Away Team is gathered and sent to the planet side, with each one of us with having something to do. Engineering main goal was to get the communication array system up and running first, then get the rest of the systems up and running. After some time working on the array systems, we were able to get it up and running perfectly.
Duirng the time Ms Sue and I were working on the communication array systems, I have heard some kind of noise from the bushes. When Zandi went to see what it was, it came to be a Romulan pet.
That would remind me of my two oldest sons, Daniel and Kirk, bringing home strays. Well, mainly snakes and lizards to scary the living day lights out of their mother and their sister.
After getting the communcation array systems up and running, the rest of the team that I was with continued on to the next field, finding some men laying on the ground. They had their weapons drawn, as if they were defending the city. Unforthingyely, they didn't survive. We continued on to the next buildings and would hear some children and an adult. As we approuch them, we were fired upon by some men that stormed into the city, beaming the children and the adult out of the city.
The only thing that we could do is to return fire. Some of those men were killed before they had a chance to get a way.

Captain Radaik wanted me to retreive some chips and the internal core at the operation area. I've made my way towards the operation area and retreive what is needed. After gathering up the chips and the core, Zandi and I went back towards where Captain Radaik's team were at. Once I have gotten my new orders to get back onto the ship, I began to work on the major damages and gotten most of them up, including the warp engines.

The damages on the ships were completely repaired, exect for one or two very minor repairs that deals with a few crewmember's replicators. Captain Radaik wanted to make sure that the ship is battle station ready by the time the Away Team arrives back on board.
With the engineering team that I have, it would not be a problem getting everything ready in time.

The last of the few minor damages were repaired. All system checked in their normal regime. I was able to catch up on some reports, made a list of engineering tool supply and upgrades that the ship would need.
I have been hearing through the grape vine that we had plenty of prisoners on board the ship. Most of them whom took part of the slaughter on Romulas. Despite of how long the hate there is between the Federation and Romulas before the treaty been made, there is still no reason for the slaughter of innocent people.
