Chief Engineering Peronal Log
Begin Log.........
I remember the day that I was told that I will be a father again. The day that I had found out that I will be a father, I was so happy about the news. I am even happier the day when I had found out that Pagh was born.
The day that I had found out was the day that Kwin and I was in the holodeck, sitting infront of a fireplace, enjoying our time together. After some time there, there was what appeared to be some kind of malfunction in the hologrid that had appeared on the wall of the program.
I had went to the arch of the holodeck and proceeded to find what the problem was. Checking the isolinear chips for any damages. It only took a few moments for me to finish it, but it didn't help the matter at all. All of the sudden, there was what appeared to be like a ball of light slowly comming towards us. By the way that it was acting, it seemed to be some kind of lifeform. It took some coordination to bring up a containment field around it and had it transported to the medical bay.
Kwin and I were both curious of what lifeform it was and proceeded to head to the medical bay to check it out. While we were there, we both concluded that this lifeform would not do any harm to neither of us, so, I have let the containment field down. After doing so, the ball of light had came closer and with all of the sudden, there what appeared to be a Bajoran woman, with glowing eyes, standing infront of us. It came to our realization that the ball of light was actually an Orb, a Prophet that the Bajorans would call them.
It was the Prophet that had informed us about our son, Pagh, and how he would be doing great things in the future. We were truely blessed by this news. After the Prophet had left, there was a strain of white hair that appeared on Kwin's head. A sign of being an Embassary.
Of what Kwin explained to me later on, and what I could understand, that we both share the duties as Embassaries since that we both have meet the Prophet. It does seem kind of strange that a human, like myself, would be sharing in such duties. Although it had happened before.
We both had experienced visions at later times. A visit from the Prophets, either together or when we weren't together because one of us would be on a Starfleet Mission on our assigned ship.

While the trial still continues, I would be on shoreleave during the duration. I do hope that this "Traitor" would be found guilty and a harsh sentence would be placed upon him. While joining Ensign Jane Vadaldie for a celebration of Pagh's birth, a new crewmember came on board who would take Lt Montag's place. Ensign S'anra Aimne, another Romulan Officer who had transfered over to take over at OPS.
While Ensign Vadaldie excused herself to talk to another crewmember, Ensign Aimne and I would continue to talk about this so called "Traitor" and also about the NY crew. I let it be known that the NY crew is a fine crew to work with. We all pull our weight together to help out each other.
Loyal and honor are one of the rules that my family had done by under the "Golden Rules" that each of us was taught from generation to generation.
Ensign Aimne was correct when saying that she had found many things that were falsely portraited. There were too many of them to even count. I do believe that we can overcome our differences and would be able to live amoung each other peaceably.
My brother, Duncan, had told me about a Romulan crewmember that he has who's father is a Romulan Senator. Ensign Aimne had mentioned that she knows her.

Captain Radaik and decided to give us a shoreleave. I had decided to stay in my quarters to read a book from Egar Allan Poe. After reading a few pages of the book, I have became restless and needed to check a few things in engineering. You could say that I'm not much on trying to relax on shoreleave. ::He smirked.:: But I will make an effort to do so while on shoreleave. After checking on engineering, I had decided to make my way down to Romulas. There are some places that I would like to check out while there.

Since that I had a few minutes to spare on shore leave, I thought that I should transport down to Romulas and take a look around a bit. There was a museum near by and I thought that I should check it out. When I saw some of the paintings, I thought that Picso... well, let's just say that Romulans have their own description of arts.
After spending some time on the planet, I had to head back on board to recheck a few things in engineering before we move away from dock. Everything had checked out fine. Enginees are working like they should.

I never had been on duty as an engineering that there wasn't an engineering problem some where. Normally, I would speak too soon about having no engineering problems. All systems had a green, but my gut instincts are telling me something isn't right. Ensign Vadaldie has been very helpful in engineering and in keeping up with repairs on the ship.
As for Kwin and Pagh, ::He paused for a moment with a smile on his face.:: I still miss them and love them dearly. I have been talking to Kwin through transmission and her and Pagh has been doing very well. As soon as I am through with this mission and we are heading back to the SB near Bajor for a shoreleave, I would put in my request to head down to Bajor to spend some time with Kwin and Pagh.

Ensign Vadaldie was given a promotion to LtJG by our Captain. I am very proud of her being promoted and helping around in engineering. There was a report that there could be a lose wire in one of the transporters, so it could be one of the reasons why it acts so screwy. At least none of the systems would have to be shut down because of it.
Vadaldie and I had talked about how it is being old and how not every young person appriecates wisdom from an older person. There are very few that do take the time to listen who is far more older than they are. I maybe old, but at least I still have my mind.

So far, I haven't experience any transporter problems, but perhaps one or two may have. Lt Vadaldie and the transporter chief checked into the coils in the transporters and rewired the wires. I could suspect that the chips could also be damaged as well. I had her check them out as well as I finished checking out a problematic console. I've made sure that some chips where replaced in the console and that some plasma conduits were working properly.

Our current mission, once we arrive on the scientific outpost Agurthan Outpost, to check out the main transmitter for starters and run level one diagnostics. I had transfigured the tricorder and the Dynamic mode stablizer to the main transmitter with the Romulan equipment that Colonel Stevenson had suggested. The readings showed that there were no current problems, but I would want to do further tests to make sure.

My engineering team and I were able to complete the diagnostics on the Outpost’s Main Power system and the Secondary Power systems. Although Stevenson only told me to check the Main Power system for any inconsistence, I went ahead and have the secondary power system checked as well. In case if the there was a problem in the Main Power system, at least the secondary power system would be up and running. After some careful run through, I have made sure that the equipment between the Federation and the Romulan was synchronized properly. Lt Vadaldie and I were able to complete the task at hand before we went back on board.

We found ourselves heading back to Romulas on a different kind of mission. Came to find out that Captain Radaik was called infront of the review board. For some reason, I am not for sure why. In the mean time, we will have shoreleave. Before I went on my shoreleave, I looked through the engineering reports and checked in with Valdalnie of any engineering problems. Beta shift will start soon and I will be on my way to the lounge to relax a bit.

While on Shoreleave, I had decided to take some time to look around Romulas. There have been places that I have not been and had a curiosity to take a look at them. While I was there, I was able to meet up with Ensign S'anra Aime. Thought I have been here once or twice, but still would get lost about if I looked around myself. I would even have a hard time asking direction.

While still on Romulas, Ensign S'anra Aimne and I continued to talk about how Humans and Romulans to have some interests that are the same, arts for example. We only had a short time to talk before we had to head back to the ship. Once back on board, I had went back to Main Engineering. LtJG Vadaldie was able to work out the minor problems before I arrived there. For now, there has been no engineering problems to contend with.

The shift started out normally, on the expection of a few minor problems. There was a few damaged isolinear chips that had to be replaced, which took no time to fix. Colonel Stevenson had mentioned to have a decal put on the ship the next time we were at the station. I wonder if he does not mind a decal from the Edinburgh, Scotland rugby team. ::He smirked jokingly.::

Ensign S'anra Aimne and I had the job of piecing out the debri that was found from a Breen Scout. Our reports showed that there was some Trilithium fused into the debri, not caused from the outside, but from within. Because of the size of the ship, I had narrow down of the location of where the explostion had happened on the Breen Scout ship. My scans proved to be that it had happened in one of the Cargo Bays. Perhaps a mishandling of the Trlithium had caused the explosion. That woud be the only explanation I would give of how it may had happened. I would like to make further analyses of how it happened before making the report. Once this report would be done, I will let the Captain know of it immeditately.

I had a slight delay in starting my shift, but was able to make it to engineering to help out. There were only a few minor problems that were reported. One of the holodecks was reported to have some minor problems and currently being fixed when I had arrived in Main Engineering. There was one consoles in engineering that was not working right. After checking it, I had found it it is because of a damaged power conduit. I had changed the power conduit and continued on to check further inquries.
