Sickbay

[Dr. Robert Devoroh, MD (LT)]

He nods looking up at the man before shaking his hand. Then directs him to one of the exam rooms "Starfleet protocol actually dictates that is annually or at my own discretion" He takes out his medical tricorder and a PADD that has Tarkel's medical history on it, before he begins he examines the chart for a few minutes

"okay, so lets do the battery of questions first shall we? Its important that you answer these questions truthfully, your answers will not be disclosed to anyone outside of my staff unless we believe that you are a danger to yourself or others" He pauses for a second, he knows that people lie on these regardless "since your last physical have you experienced any difficulty sleeping, nightmares, unexplainable fevers, experienced a traumatic event?"

He pauses for another second "any wounds or injuries that where not reported?" He then waits to let Tarkel respond, preferably truthfully, lying on these only hurts himself in the long run.

Kiele exited the office into the main area of Sickbay and was surprised to see Devoroh walking toward her. She raised a hand and waved a greeting.

"How are you doing Doctor?"

::when we was walking towards her he had just come out of the medlabs as he was running another experiment. One of his many things to keep him busy through out the day when not fixing cuts:: Ahh, Major Kiele Christienne, how are you today? Is this a "hello" visit or do you require medical attention?
::he started to run his hands under a steri-field to sterilize his hands::

"Just a hello. I see you so seldom, I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Are you busy? I was considering getting something to eat. If you would care to join me, you could actually answer my question instead of tossing it back to me." She grinned.

::he smiled to her before taking off his lab coat, something he preferred to wear in the labs incase of a spill so that his clothes dont get covered in whatever he'd 'playing' wth:: yes, I do have some time. I've actually got about an hour of it until I get some results. So, yes. I would love to get something to eat, thank you.

::he let the duty nurse know where he'd going, when to expect him back and what he has in the medlabs. Then turned to face Kiele:: I'm ready when you are

"I've never eaten in the Mess Hall before, but I hear the cooking is excellent. Would you like to try it out?

The smell of the orange blossom tea had made her hungry but she hadn't wanted to bother Cindy with a request.

the mess hall sounds just fine, as I'm sure you know I dont really leave sickbay often so stretching out my legs would be nice ::he smiled stepping out of sickbay and headed towards the mess hall with kiele::

After talking to Kiele in the mess hall he made his way back to sickbay to check on his research experiments. For the most part he felt at home in sickbay, while others avoided that section of the ship he found himself pulled to that part of the ship... To him sickbay was like a magnet.

Zila walked through the doors of Sickbay like a child going the principle's office. Joined Trill's were always a curiousity to Federation physicians. She had dodged this fitness exam for as long as she could, but like it or not regulations said it had to be done. She walked quietly in the room, which was well staffed. She was surprised to see how busy it was, considering they were docked for repairs. That was good because Zila did not want to stand out. She was actually hoping to be ignored. It would give her further excuse to leave.

No one enters sickbay unnoticed! Dr. Devoroh came out of his office seeing Zila standing in the waiting room, obvious by her expression that she doesn't want to be there. Natually, he's gotta mess with that opportunity, its his evil side coming out.

"Hello, welcome to sickbay, how may I help you?"

His sickbay definently reflected him: So clean you could eat off the carpet and worked like a fine oiled machine, then again sickbay was his life. He basically never leaves, reasons why he remained secret.

She stood up mustering all the courage she could. "Doctor Devoroh. I have come to get my fitness exam as per regulations. My name is Zila D..Peers. My information is on this file." She hands the Doctor her medical file. It would include the medical history of her symbiot too with a few things ommited by the Symbiot Commission.

He took the PADD as he listened to what she was saying and nodded as he pointed to the nearest exam room.

"right this way and we'll get this done as soon as we can, since I'm certain you have better things to do then hang out here."

He sat down on the chair in the exam room while leaning back against the wall "So, Zila since your last physical have you been experiancing bouts of insomnia, troubles concentrating or been injured in any way that has not been reported to medical?"

"Yes and ..ah no." She went to the exam room and looked down playing with her fingers. "Can we do the exam first and I'll explain things after I've got the physical out of the way?"

"those questions are actually part of the physical and mandated by starfleet medical that I ask various questions. Its not my policy, its theirs"

He smiles softly before grabbing his medical tricorder taking baseline scans of Zila.

"I can assure you, anything you share with me in sickbay I have to conceal the details of our conversation and I hold to that very strictly... An admiral can come in here and ask me if you've ever...." thinks for a moment, for something small "if you've ever had a hang nail, and I'll tell them to get lost. The only way I'll mention something you talk about in sickbay - and this goes for all my staff; is if we believe its potentially hazardous to yourself or others."
