Sickbay

[Lt Aidan McKenzie]

Aidan walked back into Sickbay about an hour later. He temper had cooled a bit but he was still quite upset. He gave a defiant glare to the commodore as he was still sitting, speaking with the Commander and he looked toward Cindy and gave her a nod

He approached the doctor's office and gave two sharp knocks on the door to get his attention Doctor, a word" he would say before he entered whether he liked it or not "I was supposed to watch my patients but I could not do that when said patient ordered me out of sickbay. How was I supposed to my "job" then? Also when Cindy beamed into the sickbay, I came back in and treated her as a PATIENT. If I would have taken the time to come in here and woken you up, she would have bled all over the floor. I stopped the bleeding and then gave her the painkiller for the pain she was in. There was NO mention in her file that would tell me that she would get high from it"

Speaking of patients.." he then grabbed at the monitor the doctor was sitting in front of and turned it around, not caring if anything was on it or not. He figured what was lost could be gained again. He tapped a few keys on it and brought up the security taped from sickbay. He turned it back around to show him clearly where the Commodore had ordered him out of sickbay, after he reminded the commodore he was still a patient and he had another patient to look after. Clearly the Commodore treating him like he was clearly incompetent and perhaps still have a psychotic episode from his temporal jumps, which he thought couldn't be more further then the truth

At first he was about to knock the cadet into next week for the attitude... Then he saw the video from sickbays security tapes then his expression changed from angry to furious... He inhaled deeply. He looked at Aidan "thank you for bringing this to my attention... I'll address this personally, you may return back to work, concider your 'punishment' no longer in effect... Please accept my applogies; if anyone questions your return tell them to shut the hell up and then refer them to me"

He rubs his temples slowly "please escort the commander out of the commodores room, and tell her that visitation to the commodore has been revoked due to medical reasons... If she still questions it, refer her to me"

He brings up the commodores medical files and places him on medical leave until further notice then revokes his command status due to medical reasons on the basis of possible altered mental status, just got out of major surgury, and was infected by an unknown toxin.

He looks at a passing nurse "come here for a second... Make sure the rest of the staff knows Aidan is returning"

He then looks back to Aidan "while he's a patient, and under your care... He has no authority over you. If he does this again get me... If he gets combative give him 10cc of improvoline then come get me. Okay? Oh and as far as he's concerned if I'm not around there are no other officers. If I'm not around your basically me okay? Welcome back to work though"

Files a report with the JAG office, to get the commodores rank suspended.....

He didn't know he was about to be knocked into the middle of next week for his action toward the doctor but at this point, he really didn't care. He saw the doctor as he watched what he had tapped up for him and he could see his expression get more darker, more furious. The doctor turned to him, saying "thank you for bringing this to my attention... I'll address this personally, you may return back to work, consider your 'punishment' no longer in effect... He just nodded and when he heard the doctor say "If anyone questions your return, just tell them to shut the hell up and then refer them to him" A laugh escaped him, along with the rest of his temper, and he said with a grin "Will do, Doc"

"Yes, Doctor" he said, still grinning. Then he turned to go. He exited the doctor's office and walked toward the cubicle where the Commodore. He paused to look at Cindy with an ear to ear grin and whispered to her "Somebody's in trouble.. and it's not me, for once" He chuckled, the amusement of it reaching his eyes

He continued on until he reached the Commodore's cubicle, and approached them, more specifically Commander T'Lar and told her that the Commodore can no longer have visitors due to medical reasons*

"Thank you, doctor. It's good to be back" he said, thinking that even though he is in sickbay he is still on duty "If he gets uncooperative and combative, I just may knock him out myself" he said mischievously, then showed him a fist and mimicked punching someone "Pow!" then laughed

They Cindy and Aidan are sent to sickbay "Sit on the biobed" she points to one

"I shall never get use to Combat! when the firring started Clyde was clam I could see no fear in his face, usually theirs some fear" she says as she gathers her equipment

"I was scared I'm not afraid to emit that but Clyde" she adds as she walks back over to him

He followed Cindy into Sickbay, cradling his arm that was shot. He followed Cindy's point and her instructions to "sit on the biobed" He went over and sat as she went over to get what she needed for his arm

"Perhaps Clyde is just used to being in those kind of situations. You don't have time to be scared when there are bullets.. high powered laser beams are being fired at you"

As she was coming back over, he admitted "I was scared too. I never been shot at by someone who wanted to kill me before" He remembered one time Clyde shooting him, but that was a stun setting, so he said and he was ordered by the Captain to subdue him. Guess he was just lucky he was "stunned". Course, that was after the events that had killed him, and the rest of the crew, but somehow.. he got a second chance "Clyde's a marine and I know how stubborn they can be. He'd never admit that he was scared even if he was"

she cuts off Aidan's shirt sleeve to get to his shoulder, as she listens to him "Yes he no doubt is good at hiding he is scared" using some tewisers she pulls the uniform that got stuck in the wound out

"You are lucky it is not that bad, this may sting" she pours some disinfected over the wound

"I have notice Clyde can be hard when he needs to be but he also has a soft side" she picks up her tricorder and scans for any bone damage

He layed there as she cut off his shirt sleeve to get at the wound in his shoulder "I guess marines are trained to show no fear" He said as she picked little bits of uniform out of his wound, wincing a bit as a couple pieces pulled at some tender skin

He looked at her as she told him it wasn't bad "You should try it from this end then tell me.." He sucked in a breath as she poured disinfectant over the wound "Holy Hera, that stings" He said with a few winces and twitches

He remember visiting Clyde there in the cell when he was accused of shooting someone. he didn't act like a battle hardened marine "Yes, Clyde can be a teddy bear when he wants to be.. not that I'd know that" He said with a bit of a laugh

She looks at him "You want me to get shot?" she then tenderly kisses him " I told you it sting"

She Gives him 10 cc of Bicaridine for the pain then picks up her Osteo-regenerator and uses it to repair the bone "You have some bone damage not allot just a cracked shoulder bone" she says as she works on it

He heard her question if he wanted her to get shot and he looked at her "Of course not. That would be.. mmm" the last bit was the result of being cut off by her tender kiss. He loved her kisses, even if he was injured. He grinned at her "I'd take a shot anyday for you, babe, especially if I can get some more of those kisses"

She injected something into hsi arm and a few moment later, the pain was gone. She told him that his scapula ( shoulder blade ) was cracked due to the blast "Dang, I guess there goes my streak of luck. I never had a broken, or cracked, bone in my life.. until now" He said, looking up at her, liking the view from his angle

She looked down at the man she loved as she placed the Osteo-regenerator down after she patched up the bone.

She gave him another kiss when he said she take any shot for her the smiled at him "You don't need to be shot to get kisses from me"

her eyes teared up "You having a broken or cracked Bone I can deal with, but not you dieing" she picks up the Dermal regenerator and uses it to close up the wound

She smiles as she does it "I want you all healed up for the Wedding" then she stops and leans in and whispers in his hear "Your going to need two good arms for the honeymoon" she then goes back to closing the wound

He smiled as he got another kiss from his future bride "I know that, sweetheart" He said before listening to her say she could deal with a few broken bones but she couldn't deal with him dying

He reached up and caressed her cheek, wiping the tears away "I know and I didn't mean to get shot. I just wanted to save that little girl from getting hurt. I don't plan on dying for a good long time" He smiled at her comfortingly

She told him that she wanted him healed for the wedding and he nodded "Under your expert and loving care. I know I'll be healed." She leaned down to whisper in his ear and he couldn't help but grin "I've a feeling I'm going to need more then just two good arms, love." He said with a twinkle in his eyes

He caressed her cheek, wiping the tears away as she smiled at him touching his hand "I know and I know you wanted to save that little girl form being hurt" she replies

She finished patching up his shoulder, he could not tell we he was shot at, she saw the twinkle in his eye as he said "I've a feeling I'm going to need more then just two good arms, love."

She giggled "You better believe you are she then puts the Dermal regenerator down Good as knew"

She gets a glim in her eyes "I need to keep an eye on you to make sure no infection happens, So I'll see you night in my Quarters" she smiles

The Nurses giggle "Back to work ladies" the nurses go back to doing their Job

She giggled and he grinned as she told him that he better believe that he'll need more then too good arms for their wedding night then she put down the dermal regenerator and told him his arm is as good as new

As he sat up, he heard her tell him that she'll need to keep an eye out for infection so he is to meet her in her quarters tonight. He looked into her eyes and seen the humorous gleam and the smile

He was about to answer her when he heard some of the nursing staff giggle a bit as they eavesdropped. He looked over with a grin and he recognized a couple nurses from his stint in sickbay as the assistant medical officer. He had worked with them on some cases

After they left, he got up and said to Cindy "I'll be there, Doc" He leaned in to give her a parting kiss and a covert fondle before he would leave to go get ready for shift

She smiled when he said he would be their, she then kissed him back then she looked at him when he touched her and whispered "Tonight Honey"

She kissed one last time "You better get back to the bridge" she says

-=he slowly started to wake up on the biobed in sickbay his eyes blurry and highly sensitive to light as he attempts to look around. He tries to move but his muscles have suffered atrophy he tries to call out but his mouth is dry=- Hello... Hello...

-=realizing he cant move he starts to get alittle excited=- help! Dr. Cindy... Aiden... Anyone -=a tear rolls down his eye as he starts feeling helpless=-
