He saw the concern in her eyes and took on a rather serious one in his voice. Well you were in a meeting at the time the Doctor took him down to sickbay, and Ivan is not sick. His knee needs some work and the good Doctor was nice enough to make a house call, at my request, and now Ivan is getting the best meidcal care that he could get. Want to go down and see him Skye I can escourt you down there? Something told me to stay that you would come looking for him.

He walked with her down the corrador. Then maybe I should have intrupted to get you out of it. He then smiles and laughts a little. I think Ivan would have enjoyed it. He was busy studying maps of some sort. I guess trying to figure out how the planet we are going to is similar to...Earth. Sorry, for the pause I have issues with standard sometimes. Searching for the right words. They took the Turbo to the sickbay area and then walked in. I don't know where he's at if he's out of surgery or what's going on kind of hobbled out of the quarters pretty quickly. Can't say she's not passionate about her work.

With Ivan on the biobed, Hitomiwas able to get a much better picture of what the inside of his knee. A couple of presses on the control later, and a three dimentional image of the inner workings slowly spun on the screen before the two of them.
"here and here..." She pointed out a couple of redhighlighted lines, " are mostly healed hairline fractures. They look good, so I am not going to worry about them except to speed up their bone growth. This.. "She spun the umage for him to see, " is a bone chip from the kneecap. Again, easily fixed without minimal invasion."
She hoped his smile reassured him as to what was going on. "and this," Again the image spun and zoomed "is what happens when the knee is both crushed and hyperextended at the same time. The knee has four ligaments that allow it to move smoothly, two of them have come unattached and will need to be fixed if you are to walk without pain. It is only going to get worse if we do not get in there and take care of them. Best to do it today so that you are healed by the time we get to the colony."

I would like that very much. The sooner I get back on my feet the better. I had no idea that the horse did that much damage. Where I was treated they didn't have acess to this. Whatever needs to be done to fix it lets do it. I only have a few questions. Will I have to be put under to repair it all? And how long is down time? He remained laying on the bio bed as the brace was off his knee and he didn't want to damage it further. From the sounds of it the damage was already great.

She entered sickbay and want to his bed. Her eyes showed the concern in them. She leanded over and kissed him lightly on his lips.
"How are you feelin and whats wrong? And why in blue blazes did yer not tell me sooner?"

After finishing reading the news he went to the dinning room to have breakfast and hopefully see someone he knew. His roomie was going on the advanced guard. He laughed as he thought that. He understood the need to do something but he just wanted to meet the other colonist and get to know them. Besides it would help him in communications to have a feel for them.

He looked at Skye and knew that his brother found her. He smiled, " I did tell you because you were in a meeting at the time. I didn't want your focus to be devided nor for you to miss out on an opertunity to use your craft knowalge.
He shifted a bit on the bio bed not leading on to the pain that the motion caused. Also, it is not life threatening. Me and the Doctor here are trying to fix my knee, so I can walk better. Tend the feilds like I should and not be a libality to the colony. I've already agreed to the surgery. Just a matter of doing it now."
Cerisus was at the door and piped in. " A horse man is his legs. If he can't use them then he might as well be dead. But just as he tends for them so they tend to him and sometimes the two do not match well. Thus why my brother was injured. I'm just releaved to know that it can be fixed and he doesn't have to live the rest of his life on the herbs for pain control nor ever have to fear putting full weight on his knee.

" If you wish to stay with me and take care of me then you are welcome to Skye, but I will be better by the time we reach the colony and are able to settle. If you do not wish to stay." He shifted his weight and grunted a bit. " Then my brother can do his best to try and stop me from finding where you are at and trying to get there." He smiled looking at her.

"It was to go and check out the various sites to bring back the information we would need to choose the settlement site. I would have check out natural sources, such as what beast were there and where we could find plenty of water, fish and of course plants."
She brushed his hair back from his eyes, smiling down at him.

I know you are capable of defending yourself. However, it would have eased the worry I had to have been there with you. But in my current state I know I wouldn't have helpted the situation. So, sence I was not able to travel how about you tell me what you have seen down there. To tell you the truth I am a bit curious as to what is down there. Her touched eased his worry assuring him that she was fine. That he was fine too.

She was walking down the hall near sickbay when she saw the doctor and one of the twins that she saw earlier entering sickbay. Fom the feeling that she got, it was not the twin she felt an interest in, so she walked on
Coming back down the hall, he would see the other twin and Skye entering sickbay. Curious, she decided to stop in, seeing the twins, Skye and and the doctor examining the knee of the first twin she saw
She spoke up "Has something happened that needs my attention. Perhaps a police/Security matter?"

No lady Quinn just a matter we should have taken care of when we were home. If you would like I can take you somewere and tell you the tail so to leave my brother in the capable hands of the Doctor and his lady. He smiled at her his carming smile letting her know the choice was her's.
