He had gone back to the lounge to sit and look over PADDs. he would have his meeting, but first wanted to give everyone a break from the last.

As I understand as well. The brace is there to support it. If you wish me to remove the brace so you can get a more accurate reading I can do so.
He winced a little as he pushed himself to a sitting position on the bed so the Doctor could sit down if she wished to.

Cerisus climbed up to the top bunk to get out of the way so there was space for the two to move about. Ivan carefully reached down and took the brace off his leg setting it back down with a bit of a grunt. He then handed up the brace to his brother. Cerius took it and stashed it somewhere before hanging his head down a bit near his brother's head.
I told you the colony Doctor would be better then the space station one.
Ivan sighed, They did what they could at the time and we picked up the slack. Now it is time to try another way.
He then looked at the Doctor, old pains sometimes are the heardest to erase for you may removed the source of the pain but still the mind will remember long after what caused it in the first place.
And I didn't tell her about the horse. He then swong back up so he wasn't turning red or in the arm rage of his brother he was sure he was going to get hit for saying that. Ivan just shook his head staying still so she could take an accurate reading.

She was certain some unsaid joke passed between the two brothers as she started to scan the wounded knee. She could tell by the slight increase of blood pressure and heart rate as the joke passed. Hitomi just ignored it for now, focusing on the readouts from the injury.
"This will not be hard to treat at all, but I will need to see you in sickbay when you are able." she nodded, closing up the tricorder and smiling to the twins, "We will have you back on your feet and settling a colony in no time."

Cerisus popted his head back down. So I take it the bones are all there but the old man just is being stubbern and not putting it all back in place by himself like they asked him to?
Ivan this time reached up and smacked him in the head. Be nice. It was your horse and I saved you from suffering the same fate.
Rubed his head. Might need to treat a head injury by the time Ivan gets down there.
Ivan then laughted. Don't take him seriously Doctor I would never hurt the survival of the colony just to get back at him. I'm sure the planet will do that for me.
Cerisus then laughted and laid back down on the bed. Ivan reached over to get the brace again and wrapted his leg back up in it. If you like to treat me now Doctor I would be more then willing to come down. I don't think I'll be sleeping anytime soon until the mystery is solved.He hates puzzles.

"Of course," She smiled and made an offer of the doorway to him. "By the time we get to sickbay, the Ship's Doctor should be done with the Engineer I brought him. at least I hope he will be done." While a large transport, the Mercury did not have the most up to date or largest sickbay around, but it would be more than able to handle a little breaking resetting of bones and the healing of ligaments and cartiledge. Really, it was amazing Ivan was able to walk at all with the mishealed and unhealed damage that had been done to his knee. The man must have enough willpower to stare down the suns. "I can't guarentee there will not be some discomfort, but in the long run, it will be well worth it." |

He fasened the brace to his knee and then walked out of the quarters he shared with his brother. He made sure that she left as well and walked with him down the corrador.
Discomfort is something I have learned to live with Doctor. I will trust your judgement in this matter. You seam to know more then the other that tryed to treat this in the first place, and I know you are more knowlagable then my brother. He has been helping with the symptoms not the cause.
Every once and a while he would pause in his motion to rest before contiuing on with his walking.
I am sure that between two Doctors I will be able to walk again without difficulty. It is hard to beleive that a horse can cause so much damage.

She walked to Ivan's quarters and rang the chime. This was totally unlike her but she had missed him and wanted to tell him herself she would be on the expedition, to view the sites.

***********SIM DIRECTION************ The morning they meet to leave for the look see at the 3 sites before allowing the colonist to vote, a total of 5 days has pasted. Only 1o days remain for them to do the recon on the site, return to the Mercury, vote and then reach the colony site for settlement. |

He woke up that morning and showered. He was not going on the expedition. In his mind there was no need to. Looking at the sites would not be that helpful to him, he knew what would need to be done. And well the major job was already done by Artifacts.
Once there there would be little rest for him so why not take it now. He sat down and had coffee while reading a copy of the news on his padd.
