He glanced at Lassiter with a 'hello to you too, fly boy' look and listened as he spoke about Greathouse, his CO. When he finished, he commented "Most marines live by the credo. We fight with all we have to defend a home to go home to. If we die, then it is a good death. You fly boys have it is easy, you drop bombs on the enemy" He said sociably
He then looked at GreatHouse as he admonished him for interrupting. Since when have you cared about manners? he thought to himself toward Greathouse " Thanks for the offer, Sarge, but I do not want any steak at this time" He gave a critical look at the sarge when he said in a low voice that he should address all those at the table not just the attractive ones. He could of sworn the Sarge was married. He mentally dismissed that thought
He turned his attention to the Counselor, not sure what to make of her name. A tongue twister, for sure "Pleased to meet you, Counselor. Welcome aboard"
He then sat down opposite the group, taking a drink of his coffee that he brought over. Just as he did, he heard Lassiter speak up again, excusing imself with a parting shot at him. The sarcasm in his voice wasn't lost on him. He gave a slight glance to Lassiter "Likewise.. sir" he said, his tone a bit chilled

He slides his last stake off to the side and takes a drink of water then pulls out his PADD and writes a letter to his wife Beth as he listens to the every talk
See you Lassiter he says never looking up he then sends the letter
Looking at Nemi, and Tom Sorry was behind on my letter to my wife and daughter

He smiles I have a beautiful wife Beth Ann she is 18 and my daughter Kayla is 4 now shes just as beautiful he pause as he thinks about them.
My sister Sara is with them heading to new Colony Thales he grins I'm proud of them their the first group, they will start the Colony
He was beaming talking about them, he then shakes his head I also have two brother 1Lt Charlie CSEC on the Pegasus and my twin Clyde on the Aryes he is a MCapt and MCO he laughs some this time as he moves his hands over his chest showing his body Their like me

"Excuse me a moment please?" she said to both David and Thomas. Nemi took her tray to the recycler and on the way back ordered ice water with fresh mint.
"I can tell your family is very important to you. With so many in service do you get the chance to see them very often?"

He watches Nemi excuse her self then return No the last time I saw Beth and K was a year ago he sighs
My bothers were at the weeding of Nomine and Henry Dean a year or two ago and Sis been about 2 years he tilts his head
We write each other thou but not the same he looks at Tom and NemiEither of you have Fmily

He merely sat and listened to the Sarge and the couselor talking about his family. He could tell that the Sarge is very proud of his family and loved his wife and daughter very much
He drew into himself as he remembered his family. His brother Daniel drowned on a picnic to Wocus Bay in the Upper Klamath River. His parents were killed in an airplane crash a couple years later. Thie plane had developed engine trouble and went down in the Rocky Mountains, never to be seen again
The Sarge broke into his thoughts, asking if he or the couselor had any family "No" He told the both of them My brother drowned on a picnic outing. My parents were killed in a plane crash. Not married but I am seeing someone on board"
He waited for their responses, knowing they would most likely be sympethtic towards him but he didnt want their sympathy

He looks at Tom Thats rough Cpl. I would have lost like Char he stops that was privet about Charlie So were you from Cpl and Nemi he ask changing the subject

She took a sip of her drink." I'm from Ithaka. I still have family there. My Grandparents on my Father's side are still living and I have grand nieces and nephews but I've had little contact with then since I was a child. It's believe that our family history there extends back more than five hundred years. I really ought to do the research."

Hears the Col call him a the Cpl Excuse us Nemi duty calls he gets up lets taps his badge On our way Sir he taps the Cpl form to follow and rushes to the TL.
they step in Bridge the lift moves after a second Pause lift it stops between decks
If you ever act that way to a Commissioned Officer I will toss you the brig so fast you head will spin.
He is the CAG You showed disrespect and insubordination to him! not only that you embarrassed me and disrespected me making look like I can not control my Men!
and their for that Iverson was wrong to promote me, I will not Have insubordination from my Men! is that Clear?

The Colonel's voice cut in on his communicator, requesting him and Sarge to come to the Bridge. He immediately stood, giving a nod to the Counselor "Pardon, Counselor" he said as he heard Greathouse tell her that duty calls
He followed Greathouse into the Lift and was surprised when he stepped it in between decks but he gave the sarge his stone face expression when he mentioned throwing him in the brig
He is the CAG You showed disrespect and insubordination to him! not only that you embarrassed me and disrespected me making look like I can not control my Men!
He had to fight from rolling his eyes but he managed not too "With all due respect, Sarge. Respect is shown when respect is recieved in kind"
He was about to say something about him not having insubordnation among his men but he decided not to push his luck. Never in his stint in the marines did he insubordinate. Came close a couple times but he never actually did
He simply told the TL to resume since the Colonel is waiting

As the two left, Nemi checked the time. Nearly fifty minutes still until Lt Lassiter said he would be available. It had been a long couple of days she realized. One hurried transfer to another until the Farragut's shuttle had brought her here. It would be the perfect time to curl up in her quarters with a good book, if that is, she wanted to fall asleep. A full meal does indeed make a slow mongoose. She stifled a yawn. Better to head for her office and check to see what "paperwork" might need to be done.

A quick stop to grab a snack before heading to the bridge he hit the replicator and got a donut. Not the ebst thing but he was hungry and decided he better get his butt up there. With Saris not here and for that matter the seeming lack of anyone else in charge of security it looked like he was going to be pulling extra duty. Donut in hand he headed for the turbo lift and the bridge. He managed to finish his snack before the doors opened again and he stepped out and went to the security console. Yeah.. there seemed to be a lack of a lot around here lately.

David enters the mess hall 20oz steak medium well baked potato, chives and sour cream, chef salad with raspberry vinaigrette and a glass of cola" he orders then he looks at Saito "You need to stop walking into walls, they don't move" he smiles
