Bart Partricowski, the man known as 'Hedgehog' was dealing with the weighty matters of thrust. He heard someone inquire to his whereabouts. He had a habit of skulking and walked behind the young pilot. He knew she was a pilot from the way she walked and the hint of arrogance in her tone. "You were looking for me ma'am?"

She turned around to see Chief Patricowski. " Yes Chief Lt Lassiter said to see you about my living accommodations and craft assignments. I am 1st Lt Yuriko Saito the new fighter wing XO."

I think someone was having fun with you. He smiled. I don't actually have an office they sent you to Lieutenant Lassiter's office instead. I was told of your arrival and have already gotten you assigned quarters. There is a small compliment of bunks down here when we have round the clock patrols. He hands her a PADD. This has both your quarter assignment and flight gear. The PADD will give you directions to the quartermaster. Once you've got that done, come back and I'll have a craft assigned and fixed up special ma'am.

"The CAG was the one that told me hmmm thays alright you know what they say about pay back." She took the PADD and gave him a smile. " Thanks Chief I'll be back ASAP." She left the Hanger bay and went to the quartermaster.

She quickly made her way to see the quartermaster. After getting her quarter assignment and flight gear she made her way to the hanger bay where the small compliment of bunks were for round the clock patrols. She changed into her flight suit. She walked out of the locker room and walked on to the hanger deck she saw Chief Patricowski and went up to him. " Ready to rock Chief where is my bird?"

He shows her to her craft. Right here ma'am. Its one of the new designs we'd been given first crack at em here to get the kinks out. Normally, I like to have my pilots take the birds out right away to get the 'feel' to their liking, but unfortunately the Colonel has got all bird grounded on standby so that we don't show up on scans. You can still climb in and see how comfortable things are.

She nodded to the chief and climb in to the cockpit. Well I guess I get to be the luck one and find out how fraked up these ships are. She looked to the chief. Lets get ready to launch this bird I'll be standing by at alert ready 60.
((Alert 5 ~ A manned aircraft that can launch within five minutes. The Navy has time restrictions as to how long a crew can stand an Alert-5 watch. Similarly, Alert 15, Alert 30, Alert 60))

Aye ma'am. He saluted her. Ma'am, CAG told me that you should be back to his officer in half and hour. Once he finishes his lunch he'll want to have a meet.

She nodded. Alright prep this ship for launch just in case we get the go from the Colonel. Also find me my R2-D2 I like to have a back seater if something goes wrong with the my bird. She saluted back to the chief
((R2D2 ~ Radar Intercept Officer. Back-seat crewman (a reference to Luke Skywalker's robot backseater in the Star Wars movies)).

"Yes Ma'am," He said before she left. "The flight assignments are arranged by the CAG. I'll relay your requests to him. As far as the fighter, I was already aware of this preference and you do have a two seater.

Marc entered the Hangar deck and gave Bart a nod. He knew Saito would be waiting so he entered his office.

she was sitting down reading the spec's on her fighter. She hoped that she would be sent out on a hop.
