Greetings, XO log and comments We are now on the star base where I am under investigation for the loss of the Alliance. I, of course, expect no less then that. On ch'Rihann this would also be a done. To my crew, you all performed well, with skill, cunning, honor, bravery and each filling your duty. I could not be more proud of you. Be prepared to answer any questions the Fleet Admiral Harsting may have for you. Rest assured all will be well. I have written logs under the Alliance so if you wish to view them you may do so. We have been issued a new ship. I received this to be forwarded to the crew: Please forward the following to your crew. The website has been updated with the New completely uprated Galaxy Class Starship, USS New York NCC 71868. The statistics for this ship is on our site, www.stunitedforces.com, under "Starship Database". Please familiarize yourselves with your new ship I will be opening the ship within the next 24 hours. Please refrain from posting until then. While the investigation continues and we prepare to leave on the maiden launch of the USS New York, we face an exciting time for the crew and ship. Sincerely Eviess S Radaik

Greetings, Captains log We will be leaving the space station for our maiden voyage. This is an exciting time for the crew of the USS New York NCC 78168. We will be finishing up the last of the pre-launch activities and then launch. Once we have left, we will begin the shake down cruise to insure all systems function and to correct any which fail to meet our standards. I'm sure the New York will pass these checks without revealing anything serious enough to require our return. Announcements 1) Loggers are appreciated by the Co. 2) Everyone on the ship with the exception of the new members know what is expected, and should not need constant monitoring or instructions. So keep yourselves busy at your post when I am not interacting directly with you. 3) I will be watching the crew members closely for a candidate as my XO. Hopefully I will find one soon. I prefer to promote within the ship. 4) If you have any ideas for a storyline please submit your ideas for consideration via email to me. 5) Personal storylines among the crew are encouraged and appreciated They add to the ship's storyline, enhance and add interest to our sim. 6) Remember to post you logs. This will help to unite us as a crew and sim organization. In addition, posting will increase your chances for promotions. We will sim on Monday at 10 pm eastern, 9 pm central, 8 pm mountain, and 7 pm pacific. Jolan'tru, Captain's Log Begin log............... Star date 62769.95 I have finished the last of my plans for the shake down. The rest now resides with Star Fleet on what they want and expect. I have been on shake downs before, so I have some idea of what to expect. I know most of this crew is more then ready and the new members will prove to be more then worthy. My faith in this crew is high. I will have the mission briefing sent out later this week. end log.................... CO Ready Room and Office (sub-plot) Part one As she watched him leave she shook her head. There were adjustments for her to make. And she would find a way to integrate them. She immediately sent out a transmission to lIairhi Terrhi lLhoell. She was her old self as they joked about the summer he spent with his cousin. And then she told him of the situation with Ensign Montag. ::he nodded:: Eviess, I shall speak with someone I know, and excellent Orein maenek (doctor). I will tell him I needed an answer yesterday. ::sly smile:: He ::short laugh as he waves his hand:: Eviess I shall have an answer for your soon. Ejuil he is a lucky man, does he know that? Jolan'tru Eviess The screen went dark and she smiled. She shook her head and then for a shower before dinner. Part two. As she waited for the transmission from lIairhi (ambassador) Terrhi lLoell, computer check for an incoming transmission from lIairhi lLoell. The computer responded with, There are no new transmissions from lIairhi lLoell. She slapped her desk as she said, "fvadt Areinnye" (damn [to] hell). There was nothing more she could do until he sent her the information. But would it come in time? She wished Ejuil was here to help calm her nerves. But that was not to be. Mission Briefing 1) To continue onto the testing site near the Darken system 2) To engage in the testing and await the results 3) To continue to search for a cure for Ensign Montage. Greetings, Co Log's The testing is proceeding well. A few things, I am not that pleased with, *but* as all new ships and crews fare I believe we are better then most. The strong and weak areas are being shown and will allow impovements to made where needed. We were under attack by 3 testing drones, both our tactical officer and fighters dispatched them. We have been boarded, due to a shield failure after a series of hits in the aft starboard section. ::laughs:: Perhaps the drones have been programed by Rihann's. As an old professior of tactics in the Romulan War college taught. "Learn the strenghts and weakness of your enemy and then use it against them with out hesitation. Know they will do the same, and act accordingly." ::shakes her head and sightly smiles:: There is more but........... I finally got the transmission from Ilairhi Terrhi ILhoell, and sent the treatment proceedure to the cmo. Now, we not lose our Ensign something which please's me greatly. end log..................... Co's Ready room and office It is a good thing this X-team worked as well as it did. In my opinion this can not replace Marines who's training far exceeds this. Or at least for my people it does. However, I see it as an advantage to have this training for secuity. But it must not be forgetten that the responsiblity for security resides within the ship. Ah, Eviess you are not home. Remember, the ruling passion and move with it. Ah, I so miss ch'Rihan which would be entering its spring. While spring is so very pleasing to one's sense with it comes the storms. And of course the storm birds, my mother could never understand or see my love for these creatures. Finally Ilairhi ILhoell sent the cure for the ailment of Ensign Montage. I was very concerned for her. I shall be sending a transmission to see if her husband can be here when she comes out of statis. I agree with the consuler he should be here unless duty to his ship forbids it. It is hard to balance such things. end log............................ Mission objectives 1) to handle the boarding party threat. 2) to contuine the treatment plan of Ensign Greene 3) to finish the testing 4) to recieve the results of the testing Announcements 1) Loggers are appreciated by their Co's 2) Everyone on the ship with the exception of the new members know what is expected, and should not need constant monitoring or instructions. So keep yourselves busy at your post when I am not interacting directly with you. 3) I will be watching the senior crew members closely for a candidate for the position of XO. Greetings,
Co log
We have completed the testing at the Darken Testing Facility. It was comprehensive allowing us to learn which area's require additional training.
Ensign Greene has recovered thanks to the combined efforts of our ships Doctor and Ilairhi Terrhi ILhoell. Now we make sure she receives the additional support she requires from our CNS.
We will now be leaving to our first assignment. It is a good time for the crew of the New York. I look forward to working with this crew.
Co ready room and office
I spent several hours studying standard Federation. But still so many simple words escape my memory when I am conversing. It is truly frustrating at times. I have learned several languages before but none as difficult as this. I am sure it based more on the grammatical structure.
I've studied the new assignment and believe I have devised a way to accomplish this task.
Mission objectives
1) To proceed to Hromi Cluster on a mercy mission 2) We will deliver needed agricultural supplies to hold off a planet wide famine.
Announcements

Greetings, CO Log's partial log Begin log.................. Star date 62829.37........
We will be entering standard orbit soon. My last communication with them was uplifting. We have arrived in time to assist them.
Unfortunately, the illness has continued to spread. I was pleased to inform them that I had the ships doctor and science officer working on this problem. There by allowing us to render the assistance they required.
She gets up and heads to the bridge. As she approaches the door she calls out over her shoulder
Computer end log................... Co's Ready room and office partial log After leaving ten forward the following was entered: She entered her ready room and sat down behind her desk, shaking her head. Her conversation with Lt Heath MeIc was most enlightening. She was not as upset as most would think she would be.
However, certain things keep repeating in her mind. Lt Melc stated, " As a child, I was told bed-time stories about Romulans: If I didn't brush my teeth, the Romulans would get me... and things of that nature." She now understood more, of why so many within the Federation was distrustful and had a dislike of her and her people. How could they not dislike Romulans or see them as anything but bad. How does one show or teach others how very false that was. :: sighs partly out of frustration, anger, and resignation:: Between the misrepresentations of the Vulcans, the things the klingons have said, and the teachings given to their children how does one even begin to dispels this? Mission objectives 1) To enter standard orbit 2) Begin to send the food and other agricultural things to them 3) To have a medical team ready to beam down and as-sit in care of the sick 4) To return to the debris field to allow a further investigation into the things which concerned Ensign Montag Announcements 1) Loggers are appreciated by their Co's 2) Everyone on the ship with the exception of the new members know what is expected, and should not need constant monitoring or instructions. Greetings,
Co's log
As I mentioned this mercy mission has me puzzled slightly. Oh not on the long standing feud that I understand. The puzzle is why the participants in this feud have found it necessary to bring others into it.
And why bring one planet to its knees by stating this as it truly is genocide though disease and famine. Surely they understand they would be discovered. ::shrugs her shoulders::
At any rate we now find ourselves in high orbit, about to begin the final steps in giving relief to them.

Her thoughts of Ejiul earlier had brought her some comfort but also a longing in her heart. But a smile crossed her lips as she thought of him. And wondered what she would do when the time for re-enlistment arrived. Perhaps one more tour would suffice to ensure house standing and honor. Not to mention the cost of establishing a house independent of ones parent.
She looked at the holo image of him and then smiled. She got a com ready to sent to him and then began to get the mission briefing together.
There was so much to accomplish and they would.

1) Continue to treat the famine and virus victims on the surface. 2) Destroy the nanobots in the atmosphere by using EMT 3) Have the transporter settings altered to destroy all nanobots 4) Assist with the ending the virus by treating the agent the gatherers used. 5) Return to the debris field and investigate the concerns of the Science officer.

Greetings, Before I begin this mission briefing, I apologize for my lack of posting and appearances on the ship. I've had a virus and it doesn't want to leave. Thankfully, I am at the end of it. Mission Briefing Captains log A most distressful event took place. A scientist in our care was murdered, during the reception held for our guest. Our Doctor has completed an autopsy. The findings are as follows: 1) The primary cause of death was organ and tissue damage inflicted on major organs, caused by a sharp instrument. The attack was done to inflict as much damage to as many vital organs as possible. Weapon is believed to be a knife. 2) Evidence of clawing on the back and neck. 3) Secondary cause of death loss of blood. Forensic evidence 1) Cloth held in the victim's hand was determined to be cotton, type found on several worlds. 2) DNA sample from the hair/fur strands found at the scene, are identified as Ktarian. Security report is as follows: 1) Terran Scientist Johnson was murdered in his quarters time approximate was 10:40 pm. 2) Evidence suggest he was attacked in this bathroom and then a struggle pursued. 3) He was stabbed a total of 6 times. 4) Forensic evidence includes hair/fur strands and a piece of cloth Johnson had clenched in his hand. As much as we know, we still haven't identified the killer. We will need to pursue this and have it resolved asap. I hope it will be by the time we reach Aldebran III. Which is the destination of the scientist on board. Since it is a scientist who was murdered, it would be logical to assume that something in the project they are working is the primary reason for the attack. I will be ordering additional security details for the scientist. Announcements 1) Back-up loggers are appreciated by their Co's. 2) Crew members are expected to know their post and to keep themselves busy darning the Sim. I can not interactive personally with everyone. 3) If you have a question darning the Sim I'M either me or my XOR. 4) Should you have an idea you feel would enhance the Sim I'M me or the XOR for approval before beginning it. If it works for the storyline it will be used. 5) Personal story lines are encouraged among crew members both darning the Sim and on the boards. 6) Remember to post your logs. 7) If you have an idea for a ship wide storyline please submit it to me via email and I will made a determination. If we can use it, I will let you know when and we will work closely on developing it. The Sim will take place on Monday at 10 pm EST, 9 PM CST, 8 PM MST, and 7 pm PST. Please be on line at least 15 mins early so we can begin on time. If you are unable to attend either inform me at EviessSRadaik@aol.com , or my XO LtHeathMaIc@aol.com asap. If you were not able to let us know before the Sim then let us know why asap so you will be listed as having leave. Remember there is a three strike policy on unexcused absences. Thank you. Greetings,
Captains log
We finished the mission when Star Fleet informed us that the scientist and ambassador was to be brought to their respective destinations ASAP. Seems it has to do with Star Fleet security.
Once we arrived at Mizar I opened the new orders for the New York and was more then happy to see we would be going to ::thinks for a minute:: Romulan space. It will be good to be back in for me familiar space.
And for this crew it will be adventure, out of the ordinary. I am sure some will see this as what they signed up for - exploration. As I have seen this element of exploration myself. But ::slight shrug:: for us our initial tour of duty is mandatory. After our five years of such service we can as I have re enlist.
I grow anxious and long to see the stars of home.

Greetings, Captains log We have been sent to Listening post 12 near the RNZ which is closest to the Klingon world of Narendra. It is here, that many Klingon ships have entered into our space. It is strange for this outpost to suddendly go silent. I have read the last maintence report, and it was not scheduled to be inspected for another 5 years. In addition, at its last inspection it passed remarkably well. One, can not wonder if the Klingons have been up to their old tricks. If so, LP monitering devices will inform us. We can find no ion trails with a Klingon signature, near this post. If things are as they seem we should be finished soon and then on our way. Also the explosion is troubling to me. I will need to speak with the Commander of the LP. Greetings, Captains log Begin log........................ Star date ...................... 63130.18
The Rihannsu saehne (Romulan officers) have returned to the listening post after being treated for injuries. I will be receiving a full report, and will know from that w what actions will be required, if any. The maintenance shuttle has arrived and repairs to the LP have begun.
The kll'inghann (Klingon) Bird of prey is still watching us intently. They are so very close to entering the stelai ler'khelloann (Klingon neutral zone). Are they testing my nerves? If so, they will be disappointed. I will make no move, nor will I allow any to move against them.
The rhaetelh saehne (executive officer) ran a battle readiness drill. I still have not received a full report, however the initial results speak well for this crew. I am very pleased with them, so much that I sometimes think they must have attended our training.
End log................................... Mission Objective Continue to provide support to LP 12 while repairs to their defensive systems are completed. To enter into standard patrol of the stelai ler'khelloann (Klingon neutral zone) until the patrol ship RES Saith arrives. Roster

Greetings,
CO log's
Once the LP was running and its defensive systems were online we entered into a standard patrol of the stelai ler'khelloann (klingon neutral zone), between the zones KNZ 23-32. All was going well until we received a distress form a Rihannsu mosarum'haer ( Romulan freighter). She had a system failure and was floating dangerously close to the neutral zone.
We responded and were able to retrieve her after Lt Jarius used tractor beams to bring her back into our space. We are now positioned next to her while an away team takes care of any repairs needed.
Everything quite retuine until a cloaked vessel headed toward Kll'inghann (klingon) space was able to get past us. It is believed this may have been a ruse to distract us. Lets hope it is not. The freighter records will determine if it was.
Mission Objectives
1) The away team will continue to assist with repairs, medical assistantence, and gathering needed information 2) We will attempt to learn who cloaked and entered Klingon space. 3) Once the freighter is underway we will resume boarder patrol. If the freighter is unable to resume her course we will tractor her to the nearest space port or repair facility.

Jolan'tru I have decided while in Rihannsu vautha, (Romulan space) I return to my old stationary. It is so good to be among our saeihr-a once again. Upon our return to Federation space I will revert back to the one I used there. Everything else concerning the Mission briefings will remain the same. Riov-a log Ah, the plot continues to thicken and the mission takes on a more interesting note. I have learned quite a bit since my last entry. The first was brought to my attention by my executive officer. This was sent immediately upon learning of it, coded and over a secured channel. The second matter, deals with one of the crew was a former slave of one Jarran, a known criminal and arms dealer. He now awaits his execution, I have contacted High Command with the entire story of her and Jarran's activities. Including the one known as Ri'Pak. I eagerly await the response. I am hoping we will be included in the (very slight smirk), capture of this wort. (Romulan curse) I have told them it is important we are considered for the sake of the crew member, who stills fears him. Besides I have not be in battle of note, since our return. I am already considering strategies. I am not in my favorite ship so I must figure this out for a Federation ship, since I am sure we will be included. End log.......................... Ready room and Co office After speaking with a crew member, I learned some disturbing and interesting news. I have spoken to my superouiors concerning the crew member involvement and how it happened. Normally, she would be required to stand trial for withholding vital information that was a possible threat to the empire, snickers at the wording.
Fortunately, the Tal'Sahair has agreed with me and there will be no action taken against her. Smiling she continues, She will be pleased to learn this no doubt. Mission Objectives 1) To continue on our present course 2) To wait for orders to assist in the capture of Ri'Pak 3) To finish any repairs necessary after the frieghters explosion Roster Co> Captain Eviess Radiak XO> Colonel Stevenson Ops> Lt jg Candela Montage Helm> Rh'vourek Tac> Lt Samantha Jarius Csec> Lt jg Tyler Baccus Asec> Lt jg Zandile Rey-Baccus Ceng> 2nd Lt Justin Kinsely Aeng> Ensign Jane Vadaldie CMO> Lt jg Anarra Danrea ACmo> Ensign Irwin Taylor Cns> Ensign Aturus Grox Vs> Lt jg Yhea T Hienteh Announcements 1) Loggers are appericated by their co's 2) Everyone is expected to know their post except for new members.
