Riov log

The longer we are here the greater my anger grows. We now know the Remans are involved in this. Which comes as no great surprise to me. Nor am I surprised at the level of hatred in the attack. What does continue to upset me is the level of cruelty, and wanton killing of the most defenseless in the colony. There is a member of the USS London who stated it far better then I could, "There is no honor in what was done here."

If this is a sample of their military it only attest to the fact they share no common roots with us. Even in our distant past before we left Vulcan only the most criminal among us would consider the taking of a child's life.

The Tal'shair officer, Riov Ael Jarok, arrived and spoke briefly with the children and then with the Reman. Riov Jarok has not left yet I suspect she has some questions left. However, the Reman which calls itself is a military officer is now on Riov Jarok's shuttle. In a special holding area, judging from her demeanor I am truly thankful I am not the Reman.

Sim notes

On Thursday we held the joint sim with the London. At the time Special Tal'shair Officer Ael Jarok, of the Reman affairs section arrived. She started questioning the survivors of the attack, then the Reman. She had the Reman transported directly to her shuttle in a special holding area.

She determined the following:
1. This was definitely part of a Reman plan
2. Her inner doubts that the Federation has conspired with the Remans grows.

Special instructions

1. CMO will determine that one child has a contracted a bacterial infection of unknown or gins.
2. AMO will be asked to perform a medical exam on the Reman aboard the shuttle.
3. The following will act as various children:
a) Lt Kinsely child one age 4
b) MCapt Samantha Jaris child two age 8
c) Ensign Peggy sue child age 13
4. Erien M Ilewii has instructions give to her in the Riov-a office and will begin working on them.
5. Erien A Ilewii will discover a small facility located on the moon.

1) ch'Cheron is located near a dark nebula
2) Is a typical M class planet
3) Was at one time a lush and pleasant world
4) All that remains now is cities in ruins, some genetic remains of certain plant, vegetable, and insect forms. 5) A few other genetic samples have been found of higher life forms but to date have not been cloned for repopulation.
6) There is one small city that was the original settlement
7) Scattered around the planet are small settlements consisting mostly of scientist
8) There is one main military installation for planetary defense.
9) The planet is being rehabilitated slowly in sections.
10) The work began in 2285

ch'Cheron natives

1) Those who were "black on the right side" considered those "white on the right side" to be inferior.
2) They possessed extremely fast space ships with an advanced cloaking technology
3) possessed advanced protective shielding systems on their persons, which could also be utilized to disrupt sensitive computer systems and as weapons against others
4) Some of them could also command advanced technological systems by sheer willpower alone, bringing vessels as large as a starship entirely under their control to send where they pleased


Sim objectives

2) we will beam down and inspect the military installation
3) There have been reports of rare artifacts we will go and check it out.

First encounter with the Trinity

We have received a distress call by a Vulcan science ship that just crossed into Romulan space. They are under attack by Federation ships which are identified as the Trinity. The Trinity, known terrorist in pursuit of the Vulcans failed to see where they were headed.

Since they entered our space they have made a fatal mistake, we will treat this Trinity vessel as if they were the Hatham-a.

2nd Officer/ Acting Executive Officer's Log:

I have received a communique from Star Fleet that the Vulcan Science vessel Buk(Destiny) was attacked by the mysterious rogue group calling itself "Trinity'. This was an unimportant science vessel. I served on this vessel early in my career, but since then it has gone through several refits and now only do minor duties. Why would a group such as 'Trinity' whom seem to be declaring war on the Federations and her allies choose such an insignificant target. I am determined not to make this the same blind pursuit as this ship encountered with the Hatham-a. There's a relationship between these two groups and logic dictates we assume they have similar intelligence. Something we may be able to use to our advantage.

Mission Briefing:

We continue to Gideon. We have done some research and how found both Star fleet and Imperial archives have little information on the world. This will be a particularly challenging mission for me. This will be the first diplomatic mission I've ever commanded. This is something the Riov Radaik would be able to do easily. I only hope to prove myself worthy of his honor. These people have been at war for decades. We will be entering a world that for generations have known nothing but war and death. Along with that, there is the risk of their disease. There are some of the Rihannsu on the ship that are worried. I don't find that cowardly. I know that they are militaristic and the on thing a soldier fears is an enemy he cannot see. I know we Vulcan's are taught to suppress our emotions. I don't fear the germs, but I have trepidations about the Gideon people. They are known to be deceptive, and as a Vulcan I am taught that truth is truth. The concept of deception is one I struggle with.

Commander's Log:

We are nearing Victory Star base. This is a civilian star base. Independent contract cargo ships come here for fuel, supplies and camaraderie. Our away team does not realize that this meeting has a dual purpose. One is to get information about the attacks, and the other is to take command of he Berlin. We are gong to try to draw the attention of one of these marauding ships. They will get themselves acquainted with the Berlin, a large cargo vessel.

Commander's Log:

Our crew have gone over the freighter Berlin, and found that it had truly been attached. Something our report had already told us. With the help of our engineering staff, They have made the craft space worthy and possibly able to defend itself. We will follow the ship under cloak in the hopes of attracting some of these mysterious pilots. We need to take care of this problem quickly as the Cargo Captains are talking about arming themselves, and not with low level phasers. The last thing we need is a war.
