Holodeck one

This is a recreational area where crew members come to engage in off duty entertainment. This done by a holographic representation of a given program. And the crew members will interact with that program.

The programs will vary and depends on the crew member using it. At no time will the safety protocols be turned off.

As she walked to her office she decided to stop at the holodeck. Standing outside she entered the temporary program where an exact duplicate of the events leading to the destruction of the Alliance began to unfold before her eyes.

After the first run of the program ended she stood there, and then asked the computer to play out what would of happened, based on all known facts and scientific laws, several alternatives. In each one, the destruction of the Alliance was a given. What varied, was the loss of life and amount of injuries. The course of action she took and followed was the correct one to take. It had the lest amount of death and injuries.

As she ended the program she knew in her heart and mind this would follow her and always leave a question.

ASec Tyler Baccus walked into the holodeck along with 5 security team members and possible candidates for the X-Team. Computer Load program Kinsely7.

::Soon they holodeck had transformed and the 6 men were standing on Earth, just outside a large building.:: Attention for mission briefing:

The premise of this holodeck program will deal with the Jem'Hadar. The mission will take place on earth, and will deal directly with the Omega Directive. The scenario will be as follows:

The Jem'Hadar have infiltrated a top-secret installation that was created specifically to deal with Dr. Ketteract's Omega molecule/particle phenomenon. There are 8 scientist/physicists being held within the complex. 248 troops have been killed trying to take the installation by force, so Star Fleet has decided to try a rescue mission, as apposed to destroying the complex and everything in it, in an attempt to save as many of the scientists as possible, as they are the only known beings in the galaxy with a first-hand knowledge of the Omega molecule. It is unknown how the Jem'hadar planned on leaving with the scientists or any gathered information.

The mission Objective is to find a way into the installation, destroy all data concerning the research/logs of the Omega molecule, and eliminate all unauthorized beings within the complex at any cost deemed neccesarry, while at the same time trying to rescue as many of the scientists as possible.

This is the complex where the scientists are being held. ::ASec Baccus walks up a flight of stairs and to an observation platform:: Computer, begin program.

::the ASec watches the candidates as they complete the task, taking notes as they go along::

::watches as candidate c tries to sneak around the jem'hadar instead of confronting them:: Candidate 1-C is strong in the area of stealth, but is not as skilled as others in hand-to-hand combat. The idea of the FPF technique is to be aggressive and assertive, not to sneak around

::watches candidate e through the scientist around very quickly, like hes trying to herd cattle:: Candidate 1-E is very agile and thinks on his feet well, however he did not handle the scientist very well. The idea was to save the scientist, not through them around like the Jem'Hadar.

::watches as candidate b handles the Jem'Hadar with ease in hand-to-hand combat, but struggles using the phaser rifle::Candidate 1-B practices the Five Point Forward techinque very well, but he seems to lack accuracy with his weapons. He did very well in disposing of the Jem' Hadar, but in a real combat situation he may slow the team down with his in accuracy.

::watches as candidate d now wanders through the corridors making random turns at will:: Candidate 1-D did a very good job disposing of the Jem' Hadar but he seems to be wandering around now, which ,makes me wonder if he knows where he needs to go. If he cant find his way around he would not likely be very helpful in a critical situation.

::watches as candidate a destroys the information concerning the omega molecule, and leads the scientists to safety:: Candidate 1-A did very well in all aspects of the project.He only had minor setbacks, which he handled very calmly and he got the job accomplished in a timely manner, he did a very good job.

::the five candidates have now exited the complex:: Thank y'all very much, you are dismissed. Computer, End Program.

::The ASec exits the holodeck to meet with CSec Heath Malc, and discuss the candidates performances.::

::Ensign Baccus walks in to the holodeck, to find 3 members of his Security detail already there::

Gentlemen, as you know you are to disciplined for the mishap that occured yesterday at the launch. I understand that it was the first day and it was a minor error, but several crewmen had to be taken away from their off time and patrol youre decks, so you must be disciplined accordingly. I've decided that you will have to make two runs each, through the Academy Obstacle Course. Computer Load Program Baccus4

::The Ensign climbs the stairs to the Observation platform:: Computer, Begin Program

:: He stands and watches the Security members tentatively until they are finished::

::satisfied with their trials, he climbs down from the platform:: Computer, End Program

Thank You, that is all ::the Ensign waits for the others to leave, then exits himself::

Mark walked into the halo deck. He just looked at the walls. nothing being on them as he stands there thinking."computer open up training program. Any one of them at this time I really do not care" As the walls would change and he would be in a room that had kicking bags and other stuff. He would take off his shirt and the black tank top with a gray shirt under the tank top would also be seen.
Moving over to the kicking bag he would leap into the air and would open with a flying round house right onto the kicking bag. He was going to work on getting his anger out. For once he was angered it took a lot for him to get it out with, as he was landing he would punch the top of the bag with a forceful hit as well.
Moving about the bag, as he was doing his work out. Small grunts and growls would come from him. He would move faster and faster with each strike to the bag."computer go to 2 times earth normal" As he closed his eyes feeling the pressure. Just like pulling 4 G's. His movements where slower but this in it self was going to give him a good work out, and also build up muscles as well

He needed to do a work out but this time it was going to be diffrent. He walked over to the computer and would type in a war seen in japan hitting the button for it to run it. He would pull the Katana's that he had brought in and would move swiftly, for a human that is. Flipping in the air and landing in the splits as he would cut off a leg and then the head to one of the people there. Slowly rolling and then into a hand stand, as he would flip off his hands to his feet. Cracking his neck to the right as he walked. The blood would run down his sword as he would move in killing the ones who where attackingg his army. He was very much so skilled with the sword. Using the back side of the blade for blocking the others sword and then cutting with the sharp side along the others neck, his eyes watched as the computer man would drop to the ground. His eyes would look over the field of all the death and ones who where still iving but only slightly. Still this did not even get him to smile. not even a glint of anything at all. A shake of his head was given as he would yell out."MORE"

[Lt. Zandile Hanson]

::Zandile entered the holodeck, ready to see what programs the ship had to offer. Even though she had brought the data files from her old programs with her, she was always on the search for new training or meditation programs. She walked over to a computer screen in the arch.::
"Computer, display all meditation related programs." ::A list was displayed, and she chose a riverside scene from the list.::
"Computer, begin program" ::The scene appeared. A waterfall fell into a pool of water that flowed gently away. Zandile sat on a large rock in the sun and contemplated the rainbow formed from the mist of the waterfall and the sunlight. She felt her mind calming as she then closed her eyes and concentrated on her breathing, that flowed in and as smoothly as the water of the river. She could feel the life on the ship, snatches of thoughts and emotions that swirled like the water at the base of the falls. She worked to surpress these thoughts and close off her mind from others.

Ever since she had been taught to use her telepathy, the strong emotions of others involutarily surfaced in her mind. It had been easier before she had learned her telepathic potential from her mentors. She was getting much better at controlling her abilities, and the meditation techniques she had developed for herself helped a lot.

After an hour of calm meditation, Zandile stood again and stretched cramped muscles.:: "Computer, save a copy of this program to file ReyDelta and end program" "Program saved" ::Said the computer as the waterfall and river disappeared. Zandile left the holodeck much refreshed from her meditation session. Next time, she would investigate the physical exercise programs::

::Ensign Tyler Baccus, walked onto the Holodeck to try some rest and relaxation, he has been greatly affected by the Suffering that is going on on Acamar III, He sighs before engaging the program::

Computer, Begin Program "Baccus 3"

::Tyler found himself standing back home on earth, in the rocky mountains just outside the old Eureka Gold Mine, near Silverton, Colorado. He looks around::

"Now wheres that danged gold pan of mine"

::He walks along the banks the Animas River, a rapid rolling river that measured only a foot deep at the deepest places, the river was about 12 feet across and the water was a cool 29 degrees farenheit, the rapid current being the only thing that kept the water from freezing, he spots the gold pan, a green plastic pan with grooves cut into roughly half of the inner side, about 10 feet in front of him::

"Ahhh, there she is, lets see if I can get me a few little gold flakes"

::He walked across a tree stump, to a small silt island in the center of the river, and forced the pan into the silt until it was about half full, he then began to add a little water at a time into the pan, his hands turning red from the coldness of the water.::

"Shwew, thats cold"

::Little by little he washed the silt out of the pan pouring the excess water out of the pan, with it running across the rippled edge, until all that was left was a few flakes of a shiny metal were left in the bottom of the pan.::

"Ahhh, Gold. Not really big flakes but good enough"

::he took a little clear, glass bottle out of his pocket and placed the flakes of gold into it, along with a little water, and then set the bottle in the gold pan, and sat them on the bank of the river. He looked around at the mountains, the river, and the old gold mine that was falling apart::

"Well I think I'll go grab something to eat and then I might just have to comeback and explore that goldmine a little"

Computer, Save Program and End

::he walked out of the holodeck and headed for ten foward::

::Zandile enters the holodeck after updating her logs. She spends several minutes stretching before going over to the display in the arch of the entrance.:: Computer, display all combat training programs. ::She spent a few minutes looking at the available programs.:: Computer begin program Target Practice One, difficulty level medium ::A set of phasers materialized along with several targets that moved at various speeds and directions across the holodeck. Zandile chose a hand phaser and started shooting the targets. A testament to her constant practice over the years, she hit all but one bullseye.::

Computer, increase difficulty level to difficult. ::The targets started moving faster. Zandile picked up a second phaser and started shooting targets. Her accuracy improved over the next hour as she kept practicing. Finally, she put down the phasers.::

Computer, end program and save statistics to Ensign Zandile Rey's personal file. ::The phasers and targets disappered. Zandile stretched again for several minutes before leaving the holodeck.::

erein Hrienteh entered the holodeck."Computer display an orbital picture of (he fumbled for the right words)err Romulus.

Hrienteh was in a rather foul mood about the earlier discussion.He looked as his home world spun before him so beautiful. The blues of the seas,the green of the mountains and forest's the swirling storm clouds.How he missed it all; if people thought of his kind as monsters or evil they only need to look at where he came from.

The elements would not allow such things to be born on a planet so beautiful. A very sad and frustrated look was fixed on Hrienteh's face as he turned and walked out saying only .

::After visiting the sickbay and seeing everything was alright, Ensign Baccus wandered back towards the holodeck::

Computer, Resume program Baccus 3

::As the holodeck loaded the program, Tyler found himself standing right back outside the Gold mine, exactly where he was at earlier, the only difference was now there was a flashlight setting right beside the green goldpan on the river bank::

Hmm... This will come in handy, I bet its probably pretty dark in there.

::He was looking into the gold mine while he bent down to pick up the flashlight. After picking it up he started up the hill and walked up the hill and into the gold mine. He was met at the doorway with a gust of cool wind. He shuddered a bit and then proceeded into the mine. He walked along the man made caves running his flashlight along the walls and looking for any signs of anything shiny::

::Zandile entered the holodeck, and was surprised to find a program in progress. She didn't see anyone as she looked around. The scene was a river and a nearby cave, perhaps on Earth. Curiousity and the desire to see more of her mother's birth planet, even of it was on a holodeck overrode her trepidation.::

Computer, make a holographic flashlight. ::she said. A flashlight appeared near her feet. Zandile picked it up, tested it, then entered the cave::

::Tyler continued walking along the cave, looking at the walls and occasionally peering upwards, until he came to a big room with about a four foot roof on it. he crouched and walked in where he spotted a shining sliver of gold in the roof::

I wonder if this is what I think it is.

::He began picking at the sliver in the roof. As he closed in on freeing up the piece of gold, the roof began to crack. Suddenly, with no real warning the roof collapsed, blocking the cave he had came through, and the only other exit. One of the boulders had fell on his leg, and although the safeties were turned on and he didn't feel any pain, he was stuck, unable to move that foot.::

::Zandile continued to wander in the cave. She wondered whose program this was, and why it had been left running. Suddenly, she heard a tremendous noise up ahead. Telepatically, felt someone panic subconciously she also felt a lot of conscious surprise. Whoever it was, they weren't terribly troubled by whatever happened, but definitely in need of some help. She surpressed the telepathy, and started running towards the noise.::

::She soon reached a pile of boulders and a lot of dust was drifting. The cave must have collapsed, and blocked the exit. She knew that someone was behind these boulders, so she started shifting the rock to see who was in the rocks.::

::he began to look around, he knew that being in the holodeck he was in no immediate danger, so he decided to try and free himself up and dig his way out as opposed to calling for the end of the program. As he began to work himself around to try and get rid of the boulder on his leg, he heard someone digging at the pile of rocks on the other side. He was a little puzzled as he didnt know that anyone else was in the holodeck with him.::
