Alpha shift is off duty, you are free to socialize with the crew of either ship, the Terrasect and/or the Tarawa

Following all the emotional difficulties he had in keeping himself in check during the course of the rescue mission, he had a strong need to go see Kestral and make sure she was okay.
After leaving the bridge, he made his way to his quarters, and decided to make his inquiry in private.
"Computer, location of Kestral Greyhouse?"

The computer responded, "Lieutenant Greyhouse is in sickbay."

((Sorry it's taken me so long to post again... Been busy with a number of things IRL)) -------------------------------
Upon hearing the computer's response, he heads right back out of his quarters on a bee-line for Sick Bay, having until now let his responsibilities hold his emotions and strong desire to be with Kestral at bay. Now, with that shield gone, he could not help himself.
As soon as he enters Sick Bay, he starts quickly scanning the main ward with his eyes, looking for Kestral.

Kestral was laying out on the bio bed her eyes were shut and she was breathing. That was all that could be seen from afar the medical staff were tending to some of the officers that were either transferred from one ship to the other or were being held for observation before being returned to duty. She was one of the transfer officers even though she didn't know it yet.

Crio was one who had a pretty good eye for details, and soon found Kestral, amid a flurry of medics tending to others who were injured or otherwise not in top condition.
He carefully made his way to her bedside, and looked down to her face, and after a couple of moments, he would gently take her hand that was closest to him and caress it with his naturally cool fingers. This he did without saying anything.

She stirred a little at the touch recognizing it from a memory deep inside of her. Images of the past started to flood her mind as her body rolled a bit in the bio bed. The readings would reflect her coming back to consciousness and that would be about it. Slowly her eyes fluttered open and she looked at him squinting a bit under the lights of the sickbay. A very puzzled look came over her face as if she were trying to determine if she was dreaming or not.

He would just continue to gently caress her hand, and would shift so as to block some of the overhead lights from her face.
As he saw her regain consciousness, he would note an uncharacteristically quizzical look on her face. At first he didn't quite get why she would have that look, until he realized that the Sick Bay overhead lighting was at full, especially the light directly over the biobed that Kestral was laying on. He had to fight rather hard to keep the urge to laugh at bay, wanting to say, "You better not be dead, Kestral."
He would shift his position and use the hand that was caressing hers to block out the lights as best he could.
"You're on the Terrasect, Kes." he said softly, his voice having an almost musical quality to it, something that sometimes happens when he speaks softly. "We were able to reach your ship in time and pull you out of the path of that cloud."
He gives her hand a gentle squeeze to help make sure that what he said helps to sink in for her and convince her that she's not dreaming.

She groaned that was not the answer she was expecting and certainly wasn't expecting him to be hovering over her. That was before she tried to talk and failed at first before she tried again and then got at least a little bit of what she was thinking out.
" This is not how I wanted us to meet up again. You know I don't like that worried look on your face."
Trying to get up from the bio bed she then laid right back down as a wave of dizziness took over and she felt sick all over again. She muttered something about not getting up too quickly before looking back to him.
"I guess you're stuck with me for a while. The other ship must be flooded with people to ship some of us over to the Terrasect for treatment. Must have been the ones that were stable enough to transport, because I don't remember anything other than being in the cargo bay trying to keep people alive."
She felt his hand squeeze in her's and knew it wasn't a dream. Rubbing her stomach some to comfort herself more or less and to calm the semi sick feeling she had she then smiled and added to her ramblings.
" Like you would complain being stuck with me." She then lightly giggled squeezing his hand back but not as strongly as he squeezed her's as she still was recovering and not quite up to full yet.

He came down to sickbay and found that it was nearly filled to capacity, mostly with crew belonging to the Tarawa. Knowing Tarawa's Sickbay and cargo bays with filled to capacity, he officer treatment services from the Terrasect's sickbay and cargo bays, if needed
Walking through, he would see crew in various stages of illness and injury. He is relieved and thankful the Terrasect was able to reach the Tarawa in time. Although from the looks of things, another hour or two, circumstances would be much worse.
He spotted Commander Ijoula over by one biobed. Curiousity rising, he turned and moved toward the biobed. His tail spiraled a little once he realized the bed was occupied by Lt Greyhouse "Lt Greyhouse, it is good to see you again, looking so well. Commander Ijoula was quite worried about you on our way out here." He said, trying his hand, or tail, toward human humor

((What follows is an IM log of continued action. This fits before the post by Captain Grabfoot.))
----------------------- Crio Ijoula: ::He gently strokes her hand again, and stays situated in such a way so as to try to block out some of the light from hurting her eyes:: I know you're not fond of being in Sick Bay..
Kestral Greyhouse: For more then one reason I don't like sickbay too well. I was the second in command of the medical on the ship I served. I...didn't know I was transfered back here. :: she smiled a bit. :: Hope you don't mind.
Crio Ijoula: ::He smiles a bit:: Do I mind? Absolutely not. I'd been having a problem sleeping of late, with not seeing you around
Kestral Greyhouse: I didn't sleep well either without you. Which is probally why I was transfered back. :: she tried to get up out of the bio bed. ::
Crio Ijoula: ::He nods slowly:: Makes sense. ::He tries to support her movement, but is still careful with her, not wanting her to get hurt::
Kestral Greyhouse: :: Her legs weren't quite ready for the weight so she didn't stand for long before she was grabbing onto the bio bed. :: Medical was scared that the periods of sickness might be directly linked to not being with you so I guess they shipted me back. Not sure what I'll do here but I am sure something will be figured out.
Crio Ijoula: ::He catches her to help her stay up:: Alright. We'll figure it out, together. ------------------------------------------
((This comes after the post of Captain Grabfoot))
Crio's eyebrows raise quickly, and he turns to look at the captain, not having realized he came into Sick Bay.

She too turned to look at the Captain and smiled a bit " I am sure he was quite the gentlemen about his inquiries. Otherwise the fleet wouldn't have reassigned me back to the ship so quickly." smiling a bit she leaned on Crio but tried not to as she was just regaining the use of her one leg. "So, if you'll have me Captain I'll work on your ship as an officer. Whatever department you need me in. I have been serving my previous assignment in a medical capacity and you already know I am more than capable of being a tactical specialist."

He looked at both his first officers reaction and Kestral's and he got the impression that he suprised them both when he appeared in sickbay. He got that reaction alot since he moved so quietly. An extra spiral is added to his tail as Kestral smiled at him "Crio is ever the gentleman, but often his emotions tend to want to break free." He glanced to Crio a moment "That is not a complaint, Commander. Merely an observation." He said, tail still spiraled
Turning back to Kestral, as she leaned on Crio a bit for support "I am pleased to have you back, Lt. I would have to be a fuzzbrain not to accept and welcome you back. You are an exceptional officer, which whatever ship you serve on."
As he came into sickbay, before coming over to Crio and Kestral's side, he was looking for Doctor MacAuley, but he hadn't seen or heard from her in some time. With current events, he needs her now more then ever "As you were in medical, I am certain the Tawara's crew were the healthiest in the fleet, before the occurance with the anomoly and the cloud. I see no reason to move you out of the medical field. I'd like you to stay down here and assist the wounded, when you are strong enough to do so. The current doctor seems to have disappeared and until she reappears again, I am placing you as Chief Medical Officer."
He paused to hear her reaction, and Crio's

He had been busy in the Terra's Engine room. Finally deciding it was time for a break he had gone to his quarter Cleaned up putting on his best Civilian Clothes then found the "social Club". He now stood at the entrance taking in the crowd, taking a deep inhale he also took in the fragrances of the place. It pleased his eyes and, nose causing a quinine smile to grow on his face. he Confidently took a spot against the wall watching everyone enjoying themselves before deciding what to do next.
