Hearing the canine officer, his whiskers twitched as well as his tail, he glanced to Crio a moment before answering "Acknowledged, Lt but next time, I want to know what is happening BEFORE you make any changes on your own. Understood?" He added an annoyed growl at the end

Action:
The Terrasect's tow line is severed and the Tarawa is taken under Stabase 178's power. The Terrasect is assigned their own docking bay and clearance is given to dock
Once docked, the crew is free to either stay on the ship or stretch their legs on the star base

He heard the Captains replies to him with a growl "Of course Sir" He says Then they are given clearance to dock at the station "We have clearance to dock Sir" he adds

"Yes'um Sir" he said and takes the ship in slow and docks with the station, once the ship is safely docked the switch to station power "The Ship is now docked" he reports to the Captain

((Back post here. Sorry for being SOOO late in getting this in))
He nodded toward both his captain and to Kestral.
"Sir, while I know my emotions have been... overly noticed, I'm quite happy to have a very good friend back onboard."
He would glance back at Kestral and give her hand a reassuring, gentle squeeze, wanting her to know how he fully felt about her, and that it was actually heading more toward something beyond friendship.

His ears caught the response from the bridge, and he couldn't help but cringe inwardly as he realized what their helmsman had been up to, remembering all too well the talking-to he had received for overstepping his bounds on more than one occasion and his actions being viewed as a potential challenge of authority to the captain.
His outward reaction to said cringe was that his eyes would widen just a little bit with a degree of surprise, coupled with remembering the conversations he had with the captain over his own conduct in that particular regard.
While he is not perfect, he has been making concerted efforts to avoid repeating that particular mistake.
As the captain might likely say, 'you got your tail firmly stuck into a predatory bird's nest and it's about to be bitten'... he thought to himself, with reference to Buford.

Rest does not come often and when it does, it does not last very long. As she might be off duty as the Chief Engineer's Assistant, she is not off duty as the Ship's Yeoman. "Yes Sir and right away." Taking the PADD from the Chief Engineer. "I will make sure the Captain gets it and signs it Sir." It was nothing really important to her but she felt it was important to the Chief Engineer and to the Captain on how much Fuel was being Consumed. She left Main Engineering and was thinking on that she would get to see the Captain again. She was not sure if that would be a good thing or a bad one. For this would be his chance to tell her off if he felt she needed it but then again it might would go in one ear and out of the other one because she would have her mind on how nice the Eeiauoan looked. As the word Eeiauo means 'Beautiful' he was indeed a beauty of a kitty. As the Turbo Lift doors opened to the Bridge she walked to the Captain and handed him the report. "Fuel Consumption report Sir."

Not getting a response from Kestral, she seemingly shocked into silence. Perhaps the feline has her tongue as humans like to say? He mentally shook his head. Humans and their metaphors.
He turned to his first officer "It is quite alright, Commander. Emotions make up who we are. It is not oten that one can suppress them like a vulcan." He told him as he looked back to Kestral with more then friendship in his eyes, on his mind and on his scent "I'll leave you two to share stories and spend time together."
With that he turned, walking toward and out of sickbay
A few minutes later, he found himself on the brudge, just as Kefira stepped off another TL. He took the report she offered and looked at it. Tapping a couple keys on it, he sighned it and offered it back "Very good, Kefira. I am pleased with the actions of the Engineering staff."

::Sat in his office working on a Computer program with his PADD so he could lean back in his seat head against the wall fee propped up on his desk. this was a feat since he was only 5 foot tall. He figure Kefira would be back soon::

He pondered what Kefira said about looking tired and the suggestion about resting, then looked amused as she commented him about not wanting the doctor to hunt him down "If such a time occurs, I will deal with the doctor with whatever circumstances that arises, but you are correct, I am feeling a bit tired. Perhaps I will take a short rest. Dismissed, Cadet." He commented, turning to head for his ready room. He entered and layed down on the couch until someone else needed him

She about faces and walked into the Turbo Lift. "Main Engineering." She glances at the PADD on how the Captain signed it while the Turbo Lift was taking her down. When the Turbo Lift stopped she stepped out and walked on into Main Engineering with the PADD to her side informing everyone she came across on what the Captain said and then she walked the Chief's Office and stood at attention at the door with one paw extended out, handing the PADD back to him. "The Fuel Consumption Report the Captain signed Sir and the Captain also stated, and I quote..
"I am pleased with the actions of the Engineering staff."
...end quote Sir."
