"Sir it is not that. This is my first away mission and if I was not wearing this awful EVA suit then you would see my fur sticking straight out." She takes up the rear since a Security Officer took up the front. She did not like the EVA suit at all. Not only was it tight but it dulled her senses too. Only her sight was good in the dark but only from the front view. Hearing what the Commander said about the boots she turned her's on but was glad she was wearing the Captain's custom made boots or she would be floating by now. "Boots activated Sir." They had continued on and she turned around thinking she saw something or someone move from her poor side vision. She tried to sniff the air and then remembered with the helmet on she was not able to smell prey even if it was right behind her.

She was reviewing the medical entries on the Jackson. She started her review 2 days before the, for lack of a better word incident, entries were what one would expect. Then she came across and unexpected series of small incidents. There were a number of minor headaches, muscle spasm's, and a few come in for feeling not right. She sat back in the chair of Dr Morrison's office.
Then she continued to scan the records. There was an increase in the minor incidents. Nothing major. She took the data disk for a more detailed study on the Terrasect.
She tapped on her com badge. "Sir, I've nothin to report in sickbay expect for an increase in minor complaints. I'll check the morgue in a minute then proceed to the science labs."
She entered ships morgue and it contained one body that was burned, judging from the burns and pattern it would seem that it was chemical in nature. She began a more detailed scan, when the assistant called her over. In the back there was another body, this one had the beginnings of an autopsy started.
Once again she tapped on her com badge. "Sir, I'm in the morgue and there are two bodies, one apparently burned but the area of the burns is not large or its degree to have caused a death. I also discovered a second body that was in the beginning of an autopsy. Scans in the morgue show now presence of a pathogen." Then she and her assistant went to the science department and began to scan the entries on the various projects.

Hearing the report, he nods slowly.
"Understood, doc. Any idea what they died from, or was it the loss of life support?"
He steps out onto the bridge, to a surreal vision of hell. The Red Alert lights were still flashing, with a duller klaxon sound going, as if it was struggling to keep up the alert. There was evidence of several fires on the bridge, and sparks were shooting from several different consoles around the bridge. As it stood, the bridge had an all-around spooky feeling to it.
"Doctor, if they were near any consoles, they might have been electrocuted. I'm not sure, but I don't think electrocution would leave behind much in the way of burn marks."
He stumbles a bit around the bridge, his eyes wide.
"Captain... I think we can safely say that they were attacked by something extremely powerful... I just hope their sensor and visual logs are still intact."
He carefully makes his way toward the operations console and tries to access the last visual records and sensor scans taken.

The constent updates from the away team made her previous percausions just that more prudent in her mind. She didn't like much that they were over there with the ship being recently attacked but saw that the choice would be to wait for whatever attacked to do it again. This was at least giving them some clues to follow...she hoped.
Her hands were quick on her console ready to pull them out should it be nessary but at the sametime ready to defend the Terrasect should it come down to that. She was hopeing it wouldn't but a good tactical officer wouldn't be caught not prepared for something like that. She kept her gaze on her console so not to let the others in the brdge in on her little world of constant worry.

He stood there, his eyes fairly fixated to the view screen as Crio made his way up to the bridge. his tail was twitching incessantly. What he wanted to do was wring his tail but showing worry and concern in front of the crew would not look good for him, he thought
He heard the report from Doctor MacAuley through the sound of Ijoula's helmet cam and communications devices, nothing in sickbay except for a few complaints of minor injuries
He nearly jumped out of his fur when he heard M'Leezz suddenly speak up, reporting nothing new but she was continuing scans to look for any clues to what happened "Acknowledged, Lt. Keep looking, purr-haps something will turn up" He was beginning to have doubts anything would
His tail stiffened when Ijoula go to the bridge and he looked around. Through the Commander's visual systems on his helmet, he could see the damage. The red alert seemed to be still active but it looked like it was losing power, nearly all the console on the bridge were either smoking or sparking, the tactical systems included, he noted
He then heard Commander Ijoula's comments and he spoke up "That is becoming extremely obvious, Commander. Whoever attacked packed quite a punch, as humans say. If you can find any sensor logs or any logs intact, that would be quite useful" He said as Ijoula began checking out the Operations console

"Yes, but the question that remains is what attacked them."
While he was working at the operations console, a nearby console outright exploded in a huge fountain of sparks. On the visual feed, the image of the operations console would be overshadowed by a very bright flash coming from Crio's right side, followed by more than a few sparks flying in his direction.
Yelping from the bright light and the nearness of the sparks, Crio jerked away, turning his head at the same time, as it caught his attention. The image would show the remnant of the spark fountain, followed by fire on the console, which was one of their bridge science stations. From where he had been sitting, that console was no more than a meter away from him.
"Whoa! That was close..."
Crio then heard his comm go off.
"Juarez to Commander Ijoula."
Crio about jumped when he heard that, mostly from how eerie the bridge looked.
"Go ahead, ensign."
"Sir, we're in Engineering, and it looks like it's been deserted. There's evidence of coolant leaks down here and several consoles have been burnt out. Three more are on fire down here. I'd say that the fire suppression system is out.
Given the damage Thompson and I are seeing down here, I'm surprised this ship is still in one piece.
I think we might be able to reinitialize auxiliary power to provide power to some systems, but that could create more problems..."
"Stand by for now.. Check for anything unusual down there, but don't activate anything yet... just in case."
"Aye, sir. Juarez out."
He goes back to locating the logs.
"I think I have some of their sensor logs. Stand by..."
He was looking down at the console as his gloved hands moved over the controls as he sees a series of entries.
"If I'm reading this right, the size of the craft that attacked was about a meter tall, half a meter across, with a protrusion downward from a central... 'egg-shaped' dorsal scanner. Type of weapon used is apparently a highly focused, narrow beam disruptor-style variant, likely an anti-proton or tetryon weapon. The device is also equipped with a pulse variant of the beam weapon, as well. There is a possibility that these devices also have a micro-torpedo weapon onboard as well."
He bites his lip as he sees another entry present.
"Guardians above..." his voice trails off at another entry he sees on the sensor data, shock clearly present in his voice.

He heard the Commander ask what may have attacked them but before he could answer, he heard what sounded like an exploding console, complete with a flash of light to the Commander's left.
Instinctively, he leapt to his right, behind Lt M'Leezz. He watched at Commander Ijoula moved as well, then looked to the left to see the Science console, or what's left of it, now in flames
"Commander, I would very strongly caution you to be careful. I don't need my first officer perishing on the bridge of a derelict vessel"
The channel went mute for a few moments as Crio got another report from someone else on the AT
The Commander came back and reported that he may have found some sensor entries, pausing for a brief moment before continuing "If I'm reading this right, the size of the craft that attacked was about a meter tall, half a meter across, with a protrusion downward from a central...
His ears flicked back, tail stiffening in surprise and shock "That's a lot of fire power for such a small vessel. If that type of ship can get inside the larger ship.." He trailed off, especially when he heard Crio mutter an oath under his breath, or what sounded like an oath "Report, Commander" He said as he tried to look at what the Commander had found through the visual systems of his helmet but something was distorting the images

He responded to the comment about not needing to die on the Jackson bridge.
"You don't need to tell me twice..."
He checked the other information.
"Those things have a variant on a cloaking device... I also found evidence on the internal sensors that one came aboard through a hull rupture...
Ensign Juarez reported in saying that with the condition of Engineering, it's a wonder this ship is still here..."
He opened his comm to the rest of the team.
"Ijoula to away team, set all weapons on maximum! There is evidence that an alien weapon has boarded this ship and might still be onboard. Be advised that it can cloak itself. Use extreme caution. Report any sightings and don't hesitate to call for emergency transport."
He closed the channel to the team and turned his attention back to the logs.
"I have a visual log from the attack.. Stand by. I'll try to put it on the main viewscreen here."
His fingers worked the console like a piano, and then he looked up at the viewscreen, and saw an image of the drone that attacked, firing and maneuvering very fast.

She had followed the Commander to the Bridge and was surprised to the Bridge in such a mess. She walks over to the Engineering Station to see if she could find a log or two and if she was lucky...maybe the answer to what ever happened. The console gave no response to her but she did find a couple of tapes on the console. She was unsure if they were blank, damaged or if anything was on it at all. She took them and placed them in her suit pocket to be examined latter. She turned her head listening to Crio as he reported in to the Captain. She then walked up to him. "Commander I think that thing might still be on board Sir. On the way up here I thought I saw something in the corner of my eye but with the helmet on I did not get a good view at all.

She was getting nervous with the talk of a live weapon still on board and on that they didn't have a clue as to where it was at. There was no cloaking signature in the area so this thing whatever it is was not from the Romulans or the Klingons. Her hand twiched when she heard the pannel exsplod on the other ship way too close to the Commander. Almost pulled him out of there but desided not to. The Captain didn't recall the team and apart of her was even more anxious because now there were sevearl lives on the line and it exsplained why there was no crew. That weapon could do some serious damage and possibly kill the away team, but if she could help it that wouldn't happen. Preparing the ship for a defense posture she waited for that thing to attack again.

His tail stiffened again as Crio mentioned something about that whatever attacked them perhaps have a claoking device "Cloaking Device"? He said with a bit of a growl, but more out of surprise then anyhing "That would not surprise me, Commander. From your descriptions and the sensors, they seem small, agile and very pwerful" Much like grabfoots that hunt on his homeworld
He heard the commander contact the other AT memebers, warning them to keep on their guard and be watchful of anything that might still be aboard and report any sightings or anything suspicious
Ijoula then reported that he found a log of the attack. He watched as he put it on screen and he saw a small ship, manuevering pretty quickly down the halls, showing at crew and generally causing major damage
He wondered where such a ship came from
He then heard that Kefira come up and report that she thought she saw something but didn't get an accurate look "Easy, Cadet. Let's not go into a panic. I doubt anything is over there, alive, besides the Away Team"

He was admittedly a bit aghast by what he saw.
"Cadet, I agree that this ship is a bit spooky right now... I'll try to check the internal sensors for any sign of it, if they're still working..."
He works at the console and tries to call up current sensor data. He also checks for other attack logs and finds more entries.
"I think I've found another log from the attack prior to the ship being boarded, as well as the sensor and damage reports that came in during the battle..."
He trails off as he reads over the damage reports.
"Swift and powerful is an understatement... However... Judging from these logs, I'd say they encountered another one of these drones earlier, but were able to destroy it before it caused too much damage...
Where this second one came from that packed this level of a punch, I'm not sure... It might have come from one of the planets that the Jackson was investigating..."
He looked over at Kefira, and noted her concern. Instinctively, he reached out to her to give her a reassuring pat on the arm, as if to say 'I understand' before he returned his attention to the console.
"The first device was destroyed before it could fully breach the shields before they left orbit of the planet...
A second device was launched approximately twelve minutes later and engaged the Jackson. This one apparently was more maneuverable and had stronger weapons and defenses... It appears to have been destroyed when it collided with the ship, following a direct phaser hit, causing a hull rupture on deck nine. My guess is that the phaser hit had damaged its navigation system and it couldn't pull away in time.
A third drone attacked after another twelve minute interval, far stronger than the previous one. This one was equipped with even stronger weapons, shields like what you'd expect to find on a Miranda-class combat-refit cruiser, and a cloaking device.
It was then that the captain gave the order to leave orbit and get away. Unfortunately, the drone followed them here and forced its way onboard after another fierce battle outside. What happened after that is nothing short of a rampage, sir...
There is an entry here that seems to indicate a large electromagetic pulse was rigged in an effort to stop the drone, using the main sensors and some serious power from the impulse engines... That sounds like something Brex would've done in this situation...
It appears it was enough to stop the drone's rampage, and would have likely knocked its power core out, as well as its weapons and navigational systems.
I would like to think that such a strong EMP pulse blast would've knocked it out of commission permanently."
He thinks for a little bit on what he's read so far, and one inescapable thought stays there.
"Sir, I strongly recommend going to battlestations... I now have reason to agree with Greyhouse's concerns about the possibility of another attack. Given the range demonstrated by the last device that attacked the Jackson... I feel that it's a justifiable concern for the safety of the ship and crew."

"Captain?" Thelis spoke quietly but his orator's voice carried clearly across the bridge.
"I recommend caution also as we do not know what might have triggered the attack. It could be that the drones respond to an act of aggression. Going to battlestations might initiate an assault on Terrasect."
