::He was nervous..hand shaking, alittle sweat build up on his forheas, padd shaking in his hand.He was on the turbo lift heading for the bridge to hand the Captain his orders.::
Location Bridge> He stepped off the bridge and standing at somewhat attention he looked around the bridge in amazement
"Ensign Cypher reporting for duty,I am looking for the captain"
::Richard saw a cat like being exit the ready room,he stood at attention knowing only Captains and Commanders come out of ready rooms, least to him they use too::

Approaching the turbolift, he glanced at Keifra, noting that she was still more at attention. He could understand it to a degree, but he did feel a bit uncomfortable by it, as he had gotten used to a bit of a more casual style of command. His own preference would be for folks to feel comfortable with their superiors, but not to the point of taking liberties.
"Cadet, it's okay to calm down a bit.. I don't know of many commanding officers who will scratch the fur off their new recruits or cadets that are on a field assignment... at least they won't without a very good reason... With that said, how are you holding up?"
As they walked, he felt a bit of a floating sensation to his steps. Instantly, he reaches down to a control on his side and magnetizes his boots, which catch him from bouncing like he was walking around in a swimming pool. He also remembered that the visual and audio links were still active and that the bridge could see what he saw, and could do the same with the rest of the team members.
"Team, magnetize your boots. It feels like this section decompressed. I don't want anyone trying to take a zero-G swim unless it's absolutely necessary to navigate around here."
He shines his light down the dimly lit corridor and looks around.
"Captain, I think most of the decks have either lost life support, or were decompressed. It's possible some areas will hopefully have life-support, though, and hopefully we'll find a few of those areas.
I'm not sure of many things that can punch holes in a Nebula-class ship's hull without it taking many more hits. Based on observations so far, whatever attacked them had to be compact, yet extremely powerful."

She saw the new officer enter the bridge and sat down in the chair that was teperarly put at her station for her to return to duity. Reading into what the away team was reporting out to the ship she knew that there was more truble there that her scan couldn't have picked up because of the condition of the ship. She sighed and contiued to try and udate the triquarters on tactical situations that seamed to be changing just as drasticaly as the tides in the sea.

She answered, "Yesss ssirrr" She sat in the XO chair and relieved some of the pressure on her paw. She watched as the captain left the bridge for his ready room.

They entered sickbay and so far all was quiet. A ship with no one on her or going anywhere was very disquieting. She entered sickbay going directly to the CMO console. She sat down and attempted to enter it. After 10 mins she got into the CMO logs and began viewing them.

He exited the ready room after dealing with his incompetent Security Chief. He heard on the main viewer Commander Ijoula telling the cadet to relax a bit and not be so formal
He also heard someone calling out that he was looking for the Captain. He turned his head to look to the new Ensign on the bridge. He looked like he wanted to report in "I am the Captain. How can I assist you, Ensign"?
As he waited for the Ensign's response, he heard the Commander tell the AT to magnetize their boots. Obviously to keep from floating away due to the low gravity over there
He turned his head toward the main viewscreen as Ijoula addressed him "Captain, I think most of the decks have either lost life support, or were decompressed. It's possible some areas will hopefully have life-support, though, and hopefully we'll find a few of those areas.
"With the battle damage, I would presume that most of the decks were decompressed. I'm not expecting to find much life support over there since there were no life signs detected."
I'm not sure of many things that can punch holes in a Nebula-class ship's hull without it taking many more hits. Based on observations so far, whatever attacked them had to be compact, yet extremely powerful."
"A Borg vessel could cause such damage but I know they are not who we're dealing with due to the firing and damage patterns. I am hoping there are some visual records over there to let us know what did attack them"

When the Captain returned she got up and went to her console recieved a verbal report and went to work. After reading the latest scans she make a check of the engery flow patterns within the Terra. She made a few minor adjustments and then focused on the last 2 reports to bring her up to date on what was happening.

::Richard had a padd that his new orders were on and handed them to the Captain:: "I am Richard Cypher...reporting for duty sir" ::There seemed to be some activity as he saw a mans face on the view screen talking
Richard stood there as the captain seemed to be focused on the gentleman on the screen,so he stood there waiting,not wanting to disturb the conversation:;

More or less, what was on screen, the ensign is seeing is a corridor of a ship that had been in a hectic battle.. and lost. He would be seeing it through the helmet cam of the First Officer
He turned his head back from the screen to the Ensign and took the PADD from the young Ensign. Welcome aboard, Ensign" He said, reading over the PADD
He looked at the Ensign "Security Assistant." He pondered a moment "You have good timing. I just lost my Security Chief. If you wish, you may take up that position that needs to be filled?"
He waited for the Ensign's answer

With a shocked look on his face and without getting to excited in that moment,he nodded and smiled at the captain:: "Sir I would be honored to fill the security chief job" ::Thinking to himself why there was no security chief on board,or maybe there was and something happened....well that was none of his business::
"And Captain I will make sure I do the best job that I can" ::Richard paused a minute:: "If you dont mind sir I would like to start....What's my first order of business"
::He never thought of ever getting the chief job when he arrived on board, but know its his job and he has to do the best job he can possibly do,for his safety and the safety of the crew::

He listened with a neutral expression on his face as the Ensign told him he would be honored to take the position. He could sense how excited he is.
As the new Security Chief told him that he would do the best job he could. He tapped a couple keys on the PADD "Don't tell me that you will do a good job, show me. As where to start first, just make sure the ship is secure, making sure security is prepared for anything"
With that, he handed the Ensign's PADD back to him, or rather the Lt Jg's PADD. When Cypher looked at his order, he would see that his post has changed to Security Chief, with a promotion to Lt Jg

He looked down at the padd as the captain handed it to him,and looked back up at the captain with a grin
"Thank you sir,If there is nothing else I would like to get started"
Cypher had no idea him coming on board would lead to this...within a matter of minutes he got a achief job and a promotion...hell what would happen if he did actually work. Well he would have to think about that as the captain wanted him to show that he could do a good job...actions speak louder then words,a famous sayingf from his father

He simply gave a nod to the grinning Security Chief
"Dismissed" he simply said
He would watch this officer to see if he could prove his statements that he could do the best he could. As long as he didn't pull phasers on officers he served with and bullied officers that held less rank, he thought he would do fine

He was genuinely concerned for the cadet's sensitivities to new situations, and was unsure how she'd react to whatever they would find on the bridge.
"Cadet, I don't know what we'll find when we get up to the bridge, but I'd imagine it could easily be unsettling, even for veteran officers... If you want to stay behind while I check it out, I won't look down on you for it..."
To his surprise, the turbolifts were still functional, as the sound of a lift car coming to a stop followed his pressing a call button. When the doors opened, he saw that there was some heavy scorch marks from what appeared to be the aftermath of the doors opening somewhere where there was a major fire.

He stood at the Console some 15 meters away from access hatch of the Port side Nacelle he was making adjustments he could do this while at any time from here this panel simply allowed one to make minor adjustments while being able to see more directly the effect ,course his Combadge was usless while he was here.
