She was sitting at the table with the Doctor and some of the medical staff. She watched as the promotions were given out and when the flag was raised for Buford. She was very happy for them all.
OOC: Vacation was great and now I'm back.

She smiled at m'Leezz when she joined them and nodded. She was very happy for all of them they truly deserved the promotions.

Location: Sickbay
He watched as the Doctor left Sickbay and knew she must be on her way to Three Forward. He leaned his head to one side then back to another unsure of what to do. Wait here since the Doctor wanted him to report to Sickbay for a physical or leave and go to Three Forward as the Captain had ordered. He did not feel sick so he stood up and walked out of Sickbay. As soon as he walked out of Sickbay he gets a report from one of his men that there was a fight going on about our guests. He informs another team to meet him there. When he arrived he noticed the fight was still going on and jumped in and with help with his team the fight was broken up. After making sure all was settled down he headed to Three Forward without changing into his uniform and slipped in as quiet as he could hearing the Captain had all ready started his speech. Without making more a scene then he has all ready done he just stood there at the door as if he was a guard and continued to listen to the Captain.

Jim nodded at the Lieutenant at his response, then spoke. "Please have a seat."
He then turned to the rest of the crew, back over the podium. "Our next senior member of our crew that I will be promoting ensured the crew of the Terrasect survived the ordeal. She not only saved my life, but mended the wounds of many persons injured in the line of duty."
He looked to the Doctor. "Lieutenant Junior Grade Colina MacAuley, please step forward."

As he returns to his seat he looks at Colina and m'Leezz, and nods to them.

He sees the Captain looking at the Doctor. "Lieutenant Junior Grade Colina MacAuley, please step forward." His Tail wags when she his called up

She heard her name called, looking surprised she sat there for a moment. It was her Nurse Fong who nudged her.
"Your not going up?"
Colina looked at Fong, "Of course I will, I was not expecting this."
She stood up and walked to the podium, "Sir, I didn't do anything special only what my training taught me to do."

He watches as Buford turned and re-took his seat. He glanced out over the crowd and spotted M'Leezz and his tail looped up again. The Captain spoke up again and he listened to what he said

He followed where the Captain turned his eyes to and his eyes landed on the good Doctor "Lieutenant Junior Grade Colina MacAuley, please step forward."
He saw the surprised look come over her and she just sat there a moment, stunned. Her nurse, Fong, nudged her and brought her out of her stunned/surprised reaction
She stood up and approached the podium. As she done so, he reached behind him and grabbed another little black box and held it where it was in Jim's easy reach
She heard the doctor tell Jim "Sir, I didn't do anything special only what my training taught me to do."
He spoke up before the Captain did, "We each did what our training has taught us to do, Doctor. More so, then I think, then any average officer could do. We stared death in the face and lived to tell the tale" He thought of the two that was responsible for them being alive this day and they were not here "Congratulations, Colina"
His tail remained in a spiral

Location: Three Forward
Jadzia smiled, weakly, at the Lieutenant, as he commented about the dress uniforms. “Indeed.” She replied, as she continued to scan the room of people. When he mentioned for her to have a seat, she did so, reluctantly, and made sure she had a clear view of the entrances to the area and all of the assembled people; “A Grant is always on duty…” echoed in her head. Something her father consistently reminded her and her brother about.
As the speech commenced, she noticed a strange person standing in the door way of the ceremony, immediately grabbing her attention. She looked closer, and found that it was the Security Chief, which allowed her to relax a little; at least he was in a good position.
She nodded professionally at him, and returned her attention to the occurring promotions.

Jim smiled a bit. "We all only do our duty. However, you've done yours with distinction." He paused, getting the box with her pip in it, handing it the Grabfoot as well.
"Doctor Colina MacAuley, I hereby promote you to the rank of Lieutenant with all the priveleges and duties required of said rank. Which does include liason duty with Starfleet Medical as a principle duty during this mission since your clearance has been increased." He grinned slightly. "Congratulations, Lieutenant."

As the captain took out the extra pip from the black box, he set the box aside, giving a nod of agreement to what the captain responded back to Colina "We all only do our duty. However, you've done yours with distinction." He then recieved the pip from Harsting to place on Colina's collar and he would be very happy to do so. She earned it

On "Lieutenant with privilages", he reached over and placed the rank pip carefully on her collar then echoing Jim's words "Congratulations, Lt"

She smiled despite her best efforts not to. "Thank ya Captain and Commander." she accepted the name plaque for her desk. Turned and walked back to her seat with a slight reddish hue to her cheeks.

He then proceeded to promote a few random crew members that had served during the last voyage, and then, concluding the ceremony, he smiled. "Everyone, drink and beverages were organized and prepared by our host, Tog. Drinks are on me. Dismissed."

She was very happy for all of them and her purr increased in its intensity. After the promotion ceremony she went over to the other feline in the crew, "Cmdr Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns, congratulations on your official promotion to first officer."
She went to the bar and ordered a charwar with room temperature water for herself and one for Grab Foot. She took both glasses and handed one to him. "To the new first officer."

He saw the doctor return to her seat and gotten a slight reddish tint to her cheeks as she turned to go. He knew in humans, this was a sign of embarrassment. He was happy for her and thought she more then deserved the promotion she recieved, as did the others that was promoted this day
As Jim finished the promotions and dismissed the assembled officers to mingle and enjoy a drink, he turned and approached M'Leezz. She met him halfway. He could hear her purr had increased in tone and intesity and he couldn't help but purr right along with her
He heard her congratulating him on officially becoming the new first officer and he looked pleased "Thank you, M'leezz. I think it is a long time in coming. I think with you here to share this experiance with me, it makes it more.. special"
He walked with her over to the bar where she ordered two glasses of water with charwar in it and handed one to him, making a toast "To the First Officer"
He reached over and touched her glass with his, as he had seen numerous humans do then pull his glass back to take a drink. He looked amused then toasted "To the most attractive feline in Star Fleet" then touched her glass and took a second drink

"Yes Captain" Tog says, he then looks at the Female Feline when she ordered charwar with room temperature water "Theirs a drink I haven't heard order in a long time" he says as he gives her the drinks then waits on others
