She looked at him rather surprised. It was not something she expected.
"If thats what yer want for a time I can help ya. But my duties as the ships doc will not be forgotten. So if a true emergency happens and I'm best qualified to handle it I will. Is that alright?"

When the AMO was finished with his little scratches he had gotten from the rock slide he walked over to the Captain and looked at him wondering will he be all right. He heard Grabfoot talking to the Doctor via com and turned to face the Doctor seeing her walk out of Sickbay. He felt that he needed to get back to his duties as well not knowing what will happen next and turned back to the Captain. "You are strong Sir and you can fight this. Don't give up Sir." He turned and walked out of Sickbay, down the hallway and into the Turbo Lift. He had taken the Turbo Lift to the Bridge and walked over behind Greyhouse looking over one of the consoles.

He could see her surprise as well as sense it when he announced that he wanted her as his AXO then heard her next statement

His whiskers perked forward then back, then he gave a nod "That's fine, Doctor. I was not expecting you to forget your medical duties"
As AXO, what do you suggest we do with our current mission"? He asked, his ears bending forward as he was curious to hear her opinion

"I'm only just became the AXO, I have no thoughts at this time. I was never in the planning stages. So you'll need to bring me to speed and such." She stated in a very matter of fact tone. Took out a padd for any notes she might need.
