Some time has passed since the Terrasect made it back to Starbase 234, and began repairs. The USS Tudiculate (NCC-70001), the Terrasect's sister ship, had been diverted from Starfleet's Main Fleet to handle the mission to Indri Omega 3. However, now that the Terrasect's repairs are nearing completion, they are scheduled to be relieved of patrolling duties to return to their mission, which was to survey the Onibulus Cluster in the Gamma Quadrant.
The crew of the Terrasect are scheduled to return to ship after a lengthly shore leave, some of which were permitted to go off-base during the duration.

After assisting with the repairs, as much as she could, Jadzia had received her orders to report back aboard the Terrasect. She hadn’t spent any of the down time with any of her crewmates; she didn’t know any of them and she didn’t really need to. All of her friends had died at Starbase Kasserine, and she wasn’t looking to make new ones.
She’d tried contacting her brother, Samuel, but Starfleet Security had him listed as ‘posted on special assignment’ and was not giving out any more information. She was unsure of where she should go, and Starfleet didn’t exactly know what to do with her either, but Sam had spoke highly of Captain Harsting and she felt that was a good enough recommendation to serve under him; she applied and was accepted as the Tactical Officer aboard the Terrasect.
Jadzia Joan Grant, was as much the opposite of Samuel Joshua Grant as could be expected in all areas, except a few; loyalty, dedication to Starfleet and the Federation, and to duty and honor. But she was not friendly and outgoing in her position and persona as her brother was, often being very curt and direct with subordinates and those around her; yet taking orders from her CO’s as literally and directly as possible to get the job done.
Lieutenant Jadzia J. Grant walked up to the check-in area and went through the process, she carried to duffel bags with her that contained personnel articles and her personnel choice in weapons. She nodded curtly to the guard and then entered the ship.
After a short walk, she found her quarters, entered, and dropped both bags on the bed. She placed the materials contained there in through her quarters; a picture here, a knife there, an award there, a phaser over yonder… She looked in the mirror, checking her uniform and tightening her tunic.
Her green eyes looked back at her, tales of horrors and sadness echoed back at her. The scar that bisected her left eye, vertically, down to her cheek bone as obvious as it had been since the day she was injured. She double checked the two pips on her neck, and slung her long black hair behind her; using a few strands of it to cover the side of her face that showed the scar.
She tugged her boots tight, inserted the 10 inch serrated blade in her ankle holster, tied them tight and stomped them to comfort. She then turned, picked up her PADD, and exited her quarters. She proceeded down the hall and entered the turbo lift, ordering it to the Bridge.
As the doors opened, it was still obvious that the Starbase had a good number of its crew aboard finishing up the repairs; she didn’t see anyone that stood out, and assumed that Captain Harsting was either busy or had not yet arrived. Realizing that wasting time was never acceptable, she turned and headed over to the Tactical Station and logged into the system.
She activated a few commands, as she worked on setting the system up to respond to her specific profile, also programming in a few tactical techniques she’d worked on. Finding that the tactical array itself was lacking her requirements of precision, she pulled the console open and began working on reconfiguring it to her specific standards.
“I guess we need to have a little talk…” she said to the exposed system, as if it could talk back. She retrieved a few tools and got to work.

Hearing someone he turned towards her. "Excuse me Ma'am." Not really catching everything that LT Grant had said and moves a couple steps away. "I am sorry..." He had paused to check the rank for he had not met her before::.."Lieutenant, I was in your way." Looks over to the Security Console to check on the where-a-bouts of his men.

ActionThe USS Terrasect, having been in space dock for repairs for well over a month, was fully repaired, and is just a short time away. A meeting of the senior staff is scheduled to start in just a few minutes. Jim, having kept mostly to himself since his recovery, is already in the Observation Lounge, looking out the windows that overlook the bridge. He is deep in thought, obviously prepared, and awaiting the crew to assemble...

Before the Doctor or Buford could inform him and M'Leezz of the best places to go on the Star base, he hears his comm badge chirp. He answered it and found it was Captain Harsting on the other end, requesting that he recall the crew and have all senior officers assemble in the Observation Lounge
His tail twitched, then drooped a little as he realized shore leave was over and it was time to get back to business. He acknowledged the Captain and turned to the Doctor, Buford and M'Leezz, addressing all three "We have orrderrss to rreporrt back to the Terrrrassect and rreporrt inn forr a mmeetinng in the Obsserrvationn Lounnge inn 5 minnutess. Let's get our taillss mmovinng" he then opened a comm channel to all Terrasect officers "All Terrassecct Perrssonnnnell, rreporrt bacck to the Terrassect, Leave iss nnow overr. All Ssenniorr sstaff, rreporrt to the Obsserrvationn Lounnge"
He turned and made his way back to the Terrasect, With all three officers in tow or at his side. He let M'Leezz and the doctor through the hatch leading into the ship itself, noticing the ship has been fixed as good as new. He would have to thank the engineering staff of SB 234 sometime
He then made his way to the Bridge and more specifically, the Observation Lounge

Let's get our taillss mmovinng" Grab Foot then opened a comm channel to all Terrasect officers "All Terrassecct Perrssonnnnell, rreporrt bacck to the Terrassect, Leave iss nnow overr. All Ssenniorr sstaff, rreporrt to the Obsserrvationn Lounnge
Buford follows bringing up the rear Listen to him he acts like hes in charge....... he pauses his tail wagging Right he is"
Entering the ship after the others he then looks around as they make their way to the observation deck he points to the wall "Luk they missed a spot"
He enters the Observation deck and takes a seat

He grabs a PADD and starts to write down some notes that he would need to check on latter after the meeting. Looking over the Tactical Station one last time he turns around and walks into the Observation Lounge for the meeting.
Location: Observation Lounge
He stops for moment and looks around knowing as an Assistant he rarely got to see this room and then took his rightful place at the table and looked over his notes again while waiting for the rest to enter.

Jim remained staring at the window, watching below as each person walked across the bridge towards the doors leading to the Observation Lounge. He turned around, watching each person come in and sit.

Jadzia continued her work, although noticing the rank and position of the man that was in front of her, she initially didn’t pay it much attention. It took a few moments for her to kick herself, remembering that this wasn’t the starbase she’d served on, she wasn’t the highest ranking officer, and she wasn’t God’s gift to Starfleet. She looked up, a wade of wires in her hand “My apologizes Chief,” she began, relying on the CSEC’s old standard slang term “that was unprofessional of me.” She reached out her non-wire filled hand towards him “Name’s Grant, Lieutenat Jadzia Grant; Terrasect Tactical Officer.” She smiled, a wicked, yet innocent grin across her face.
She just completed her conversation with the CSEC when the Senior Officers were paged to the Observation Lounge, standing up, tugging on her tunic and making sure her hair was just right, she scooped the PADD she had with her and headed into the room.
She entered the Observation Lounge, and nodded at the officers that were there before her, and took up an empty seat. She looked at everyone in the room, trying to size them up and get a feel for them; her eyes as un-telling as the vertical scar through her left eye, her black hair dangled in front it.

Her com chirped with the same message as the others. She looked at them. "Guessss we'll have to decide werre to go next timme we'rre herre. Well, its good to finnally get goinng againn."
The group started back to the Terrasect. They were all talking about the upcoming re launch of the Terrasect, when they arrived at the embarkation point.
Her tail began to slightly twitch as her new found anxiousness began to grow. She knew this would pass, she always felt this way at the start of a new assignment, or in this case a new commanding officer, well to her new.
She crossed the bridge to the observation lounge and entered. She saw a tall man already in there. For a human he was attractive, and a quality to him she immediately took to.
She with the other officers took a seat.

She entered the Terrasect after recieving the call to return to the ship. It would be good to return to space and be under the careful and watchful stewardship of Capt Harsting. And even better was to see he was up and about.
They entered the observation lounge, and she quietly took a seat.

"Welcome back aboard." He paused. "As the veteran members might realize, Deck 1 has been slightly redesigned after the damage the Terrasect took in our last mission. Basics are still the same. However, I would like to personally prevent there being so much damage that the bridge has to be replaced." He let a small smirk at that, and then looked to Grabfoot.
The smirk then faded, and Jim then spoke in a stern voice. "Lieutenant Commander Grabfoot, front and center immediately."

She watched as the officer, who must of been Captain Harsting began to speak. She listened carefully to his words and watched his body language. For her, it was the tone of voice and his body language that gave final meaning to his words. She had learned long ago that with many of the Humanoid races that held true. Some could even distort the truth while looking at you.
As he mentioned the bridge and it being fixed her tail twitched slightly. She came on after the battle and in her heart she knew they all did all they could. Then Grabfoot's name was called. Her tail laid still as her total body language began still.

She sat there and had distinct feeling about why Grabfoot would be called on. She smiled slightly at the Captain and was relieved to see him doing so well. His therapy was short and intensive along with the passive therapy during the coma proved that she was right. It was best to allow the body to heal as nature intended in such cases.
