LtCmdr T’Lar had walked down the corridor from her quarters and over to where Captain Sowren’s Office was at. Once she came and stood in front of her office, T’Lar would push the chime on the door. She had a few reports in her hands as she waits. Normally, T’Lar would spend a year on Vulcan after the bonding ritual, but they both agreed that she should remain on USS Aryes. They both decided that Sortak would join her on the Aryes.
T’Lar would take a glance over the reports that was on her PADD and would make note of recommendation of good conduct of a crewmember. In addition, to talk about the next mission that would lead them to the Delta Quadrant.

"He thinks about the story he received from his Brother Charlie about him and a Lt.Col barking at each other" Clyde laughs to him self

As the blue-skinned Andorian officer stepped off the transporter pad he gave a small nod to the yellow collared chief before walking from the room. The feeling was back in the pit of his stomach. The familiar iceball that was so usual to whenever he came to a new place, but this one was particularly fierce. Ten months away from Starfleet was no small thing, and now here he was again, reporting for a new position on a new ship.
The Lieutenant JG made sure to regulate his breathing and straighten his uniform as the turbolift brought him up to Deck One. Stepping off he picked up his small duffel bag filled with its various mementos and personal affects. Walking up to the Captain's door he stepped crisply trying to not let his gaze wander nervously around his surroundings. He pressed the chime, hearing the familiar two tone ping and waited patiently at attention. His duffel bag at his feet.

Leaving engineering, and a very long cycle of repair, he makes his way to the ready room, his processes running over the last few minutes before total shutdown.
Entering the bridge, he notes the Andorian standing by the doors as well. Running probabilities through his neural net, he quickly decides that now is not the time be be flippant, so quietly assumes his place in line, nodding to the other.
"Ensigne Ironmind." He says quietly, holding out a hand he has judged appropriate for the occasion.

Entering the bridge from the Turbo lifts, he walks accross the spance, noting the alertness of the Gama Shift personel as they begin to wrap up their shift.
Upon approaching her door, he trips the chimes.

Shran places the last bit of ornament on the shelf in the far left of his new office. He takes a moment to step back and admire the effect. He has usually been rather sparse when it came to assorted affects within his personal quarters, but with he new position he felt a need to make his presence known in this new office which held so much symbolism, especially for the crew.
He glided a hand along the comfortable couch that sat on the left wall. Above it was a long shelf which held various ancient leather bound books. Among them were The Complete Works of Shakespeare, The Iliad and the Odyssey, The Teachings of Surak, Sun Tzu's: The Art of War, The Prince, The Greatest Enterprise: The Biography of Jonathon Archer, The works of Chaucer, Clash on the Fire Plains, The Complete Works of Mark Twain, Beowulf, The Fall of Kang, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, The Complete Works of Shras, Ice and Honor, and a few ancient Earth comic books which Ferris Dewey once gave him. Above the shelf in ascending order was a Bat'leth, a Katana, and an Andorian Long-Blade.
A display near the office's door held a case of rank markings and com-badges dating all the way back to Starfleet's founding. On the right wall hang three pictures. One is a comprehensive map of the Alpha quadrant. In the center is a painting of a the Khyzhon Sea nearly frozen over during the winter frost. It is a recreation of the famous painting by Tal'kreh Rhana. The smallest and the one furthest from the door is a recreation of the Federation charter, and with it a plain glass mirror. Below the pictures is a small mantle which holds a stand with an ornamental Andorian dagger, a small wooden flute, an Andorian Ice Diamond, and sheared off piece of hull plating.
Turning finally to his desk and the expansive and beautifully large view-port which was directly behind it he he gave it one final look over. It was mostly empty except for three framed pictures at the corner. One was of himself in an Academy uniform posing with his family, everyone looked their usual dower selves. The second was of him and several of his crewmates at a party aboard the USS London, and the last he picked up with a small sigh. It was of him and Ensign Ferris Dewey, both were dressed in ancient Earth samurai armor. It was taken before one of their many excursions into the holodeck together. Mournfully he placed it back and took his seat behind the desk. He turned his chair to look out the view-port at the bustling starbase as he let himself get lost in memory.

**********BEGIN POSTING FOR Matters of Light and Dark**********
The Andorian captain walks into the ready room. He is still a bit shaky on his feet as he takes his seat at the head of the long round conference table. His head is still swimming but he doesn't know if its from the gas or the shock of everything that has since happened in such a short span of time.
He waits in the dim lit, emergency powered room for the rest of his senior staff to assemble, and to hear what Doctor has to say for himself.

He was brought in to the ready room as he slowly came around from the seditives... The last thing he could remember was being inside sickbay and doing tests on the Ensign with very odd... Sickness. He looked at the captian as he had a pounding headache.... He tried to move but couldn't... He was tied up.
"what the heck is going on? What happened to my patient and further more... Why the heck am I tied up?"
He looked around as he just dawned him that he was under guard.
"okay, now I really need to know what the hell happened"
He looked at the guard to his right seeing his medical tricorder in his hand then to the guard on his left who was carrying his personal medical kit.

Shran, not normally one to let his emotions rule him, was slowly coming to a boil as he listened to the bound doctor. He stands as his antennae twitch in frustration and anger. "Doctor, from what we have gathered you and the Chief Engineer have been able to sabotage and paralyze not only my ship, but my crew. Of all the things I could conceive of, never in a thousand years of cold and ice would I have thought two of my most responsible officer's capable of such treason.
"If this is conspiracy tell me who else is involved besides yourself, Commander Madison, and Sergeant Seelee. If this is mutiny you had better have a damn good reason." As he tries to let his anger abate he waits for the other's response.

He looked at Captain Shran with a puzzled look, having no idea what he's talking about. "treason? Mutiny? What in gods name are you talking about? All I remember is accepting the unconscience crewman into sickbay, running a few tests writing in my officers logs then falling asleep at my desk... Next thing I know is I'm here bound up and here... Why would I sabotage the ship that I love and hurt the ones I've come to love? That doesn't make any sense... Look through my medical tricorder if you dont believe me... It stores all my actions the last thing it will have WILL be me scanning the crewman in sickbay!"
The look in his eye could plainly tell that according to his memory that is ALL he remembers.
His expression changed to concern "what happened to Commander Madison, and Sgt. Seelee?"

He see his Marine Officer and motions for a seat. "Sit down Lieutenant, please."
He turns his attention back toward the captive doctor. "Commander Madison is dead, from what I have been told." He walks around the table and takes the medical tricorder from the security officer that is holding it. He flips it open and examines it as his antennae twitch in puzzlement. "Petty Officer Fillmore was not the last person who was scanned with this tricorder."
He downloads the data onto the small view-screen in the front of the room and turns again to Devoroh. "You scanned Madison with this last. It confirms that he's dead from inhalation, but there are some anomalous readings that I don't understand. What does it mean?" He takes his own seat again at the head of the table.

nods to the Captain takes a seat and Listens Clyde just sits as the Captain says "Commander Madison is dead, from what I have been told." Clyde then follows the Captains with his eyes
And watches as the Captain takes the Medical Tricorder from the Security guard flip it open and examines it, Clyde sees the Captain's antennae twitch but as he knows little about Andorian body language he doesn't know what it means
Clyde looks at the view screen with the anomalous reading on it

from where he is he tries to focus on it more squinting his eyes... "I wont know for certain until I have a chance to examine the body. However... An anomaly can mean several things... An abnormal growth, a foreign object, or something thats... Was living there and shouldn't be... Though in some species it's normal like the Trill, who adopt a symbiote... From my understanding so far and watching your body movements, the object inhaled was likely a drug to incompassitate everyone on the ship... I draw that conclusion cause if it was poisonous why would it kill him and no one else? So with that in mind whatever it was that Commander Madison had was allergic to the gas so much that it killed it and Madison along with it.... Also safe to assume that perhaps I too was effected by the same thing, you could try scanning myself so see if there is such trace elements" he shruged "again I wont know for certain until a proper examination of the body is performed... What was Commander Madison attempting to do before he died? The computer should be able to tell you it keeps a log of all command keys put in"
