Andy enters his offfice and waits for Winter to follow him. He leaned on his desk and crossed his arm giving her an authorirtative grin. "Report Lieutenant?"

She nodded and stood up strait at the front of his desk. " Sir the duty roster has been changed as you suggested." She hands him a PADD. "Also all time off and vacation request have been prioritized by seniority."

He takes the PADD never takiing his eyes off his mate and tosses it on his desk. He takes her hand letting his thumb move up and down on the back then kisses it. He draws her close to him. Don't think because I missed a dinner you were not missed.

She moved close to him and kissed him on the lips. " Yet you were more set on your mortal combat with Lt. Thames." She gave her Vulcan eyebrow raise that she know by his injury's what had happen." But if I would have not missed you I would not have been annoyed as I was. I do understand that human males must at time settle things in their way."

I'm a marine. He said smoothing her hair away from her face. You know if anyone insults you, the general, this ship or me, and yes in that order. I have to respond. I know you are fully albe to take care of your own matters, but you are my mate and for me its part of the package.

You know part of it was I has a lot of pent up frustration. He kissed her briefly. You know how hard it was for me to let you go back to Vulcan alone.

I also know that things like the Vulcan trip go against what we are about. He looked into her eyes. Winter, I'm a marine. Its all I am and all I really want to be. A marine fights and never gives up. That's what he's trained to do and its how he 's wired. The most frustrating thing for a Marine is a war he can't fight. When you go dark like you did on Vulcan, you are taking me out of the fight.

" There is never a moment I do not think about being like this in your arm's. When I am away from you, all I think about is you." She went back to kissing him.

Now it was Andy's turn to be frustrated. There was so much he wanted to say to her, but instead he just pulled her tightly into his arms and kissed her back. It was a hard kiss full of his passion and frustration. It was as if he was taking possession of her in that kiss. He knew they were going to join he invited it craved it. Taking her mind as he took her body.

She knew he was frustrated. She let him take her as it was the Vulcan way to let the male be in control. She had made many sacrifices in her career at Starfleet and in the Vulcan Military and she knew it was time again to make another. She pulled back from Andy and looked in to his eye's " I will resign my commission in the Vulcan Military if you wish it."
