This is the closest Federation Space Station from the Jovan system. This is where the various ships that will go to Thales will stop off at. And is the last stop before reaching their new home.
OOC: This can also be used for the colonist to meet while waiting for the sim to begin

When he heard the news about a new colony starting up in the Jovan system, he signed up almost immediately, not even sure where this system was located. All he knew it was not Earth and he had always wanted to get out into space
He was told only to bring the bare necessities, maybe a few personal mementos: Clothes, personal hygiene items, a picture/photo album and the like. So that's what he brought with him on board the shuttle that was to take him and the other Colonists to their destination
He heard there would be a pit stop at Deep Space 5. It would be a place to transfer to another ship and meet the others while waiting. It would be also a place to stretch one's legs, which would be good after a long flight
Hours later, he steps off the ship that brought him to the Space station. As soon as his feet touch the ground, he stretched a bit, mostly his legs that felt quite stiff from just sitting in a shuttle for who knows how long
"Man, that was a long ride. Hope the next leg isn't so long" he muttered to himself then looked around a bit "So this is what a space station looks like. Looks awesome"
He turned and nearly bumped into someone rushing passed and he muttered a curse. Turning to the person that nearly bumped him, he yelled at his retreating back "Watch where you're goin', will ya?" he said with annoyance
the person stopped long enough to tell him "You shouldn't stand in the walk way. You might get ran over that way" he laughed and turned to go on his way
He merely shook his head and went to go to the waiting area. He looked around, noticing that he was the first to arrive. He sighed "No one's made it yet" he observed quietly
He then sat down to wait, with a couple of PADDs he had brought along

She came into the station on one of the freighters. She had decided that would be best considering her position and the importance of things she was bringing. And was the crew and 2 others that she could talk to. So all in all it was not that bad.
As she stepped on the station her heart beat faster with the excitement she felt. She was now on her way to seeing her dream materialize. From the time she first heard an interstellar trader talk she knew that was for her. To leave her beloved Tyree Island of the mainland of Scotland, and settle on a new world.
She spoke with a station security guard. And found out the main transport was due in later or tomorrow morning the earliest. Then they leave 2 days after that, he told her where the ship would dock and that there was someone there already.
She walked slowly to the docking area, then were the ship would dock. She saw a young man sitting down, she went over him.
"Hello, are yer going to Thales?"
He indicted he was.
"Aye, so I am as well. I'm Skye Logan, I was gonna get something to eat would yer like to join me?"

He had gotten only a couple pages read when he glanced up and saw a young woman entering the waiting area and approach him
He looked her over a bit and thought she was pretty hot. She then asked if he was also heading to Thales. He gave gave her a smile and a nod "That I am"
She introduced herself as Skye Logan and he held out a hand to her "Troy Jensen and it be my pleasure to meet you" As she took his hand, he felt the softness of it and he shook gently, but firmly
When she asked if he wanted to join her for a bite to eat. His stomach chose to growl at that moment "Sure, I'd love to join you. I was just gonna get something myself." He then gave her a questioning look "Is that an Irish lilt I hear in your voice?"

She laughed softly, "Yer canna hear I be a Scot. Arg, an Irshmen he thinks. I can see yer gonna need some cultural lessons." She laughed and took his arm.
"The resturant is over there. I dun no what they be serving but after mainly rations for a few months I dunna care what it is."

He heard her say she was Scottish and not Irish and he looked apologetic for a moment "Oops, my mistake" he said in a slight English accent. He then gave her a grin again "Irish, Scottish. They're both good in my opinion, lass, and just as hot. Yourself included. As for those cultural lessons, I wouldn't mind a few lessons from you" He waggles a flirtatious brow at her
She took his arm and he couldnt help but notice how soft she is and how good she smelled. Then his stomach reminded him how hungry he is. He walked with her and heard her tell him the location of the restuarant and didnt care what they served as long as it wasn't rations
He nodded in agreement "I'm with you there. I'd like some real food instead of the dehydrated stuff they gave us on the Colony transport"

She smiled at him. "Listen to yer, a true flirt. I never thought on the transport ship yer be eating rations. I knew I would comin in the freighter. The rest of the trip is only 15 days now so thats not so."
"Or we might get a dare Devil and he'll go over warp 5." she laughed. "I hope they have an nice large steak, with taters and a salad." they entered the restaurant together.

She arrives at the station on a K'Vort privateer ship, she gives Gary a hug "Thanks for the lift Gary" she says with a smile
"No problem Sara" he smiles and hugs her back "You think I want your brothers after me" he laughs
She laughs and kisses his cheek then enters the station and waves by as the ships door closes, then she makes her way to the lounge and enters it
Looking around she sees two others are already their, so she walks over to introduce her self

He chuckled a little assuredly "Flirtin' is all good. Just goes to show your playful side. Course, it all depends how far you want to take it before it becomes more.. serious, let's just say" The light of humor was bright in his eyes
"15 days, you say? Then we're not that far from our new home. That's such a small amount of time compared to that first leg. Man, I never sat so much. Warp 5 would be a breez to travel at"
"I'm hopin' they have some fish and chips there." He entered the restaraunt/lounge with her, letting her go first
As he glanced around the lounge, he noticed another young woman entering behind he and Skye and he wondered if she was headed for the new colony? If so, he's gonna like this new place. He gave an inward chuckle as the new woman apprached

Giving the young woman a once-over as she made her way to his and Skye's table, he smiled, liking what he saw.
The smile stayed on his face when she introduced herself as Sara Greathouse and asked if we were heading for Thales, as she is
"Aye, that we are" he said, trying to imitate Skye's brogue, adding a hint of his. he was about to introduce himself to the woman when Skye spoke up and introduced him to the woman for him, calling him a flirt in the process
He chuckled a bit knowingly, adding a hint of arragance. He glanced at Skye with a smirk "Flirting is fun.. Especially when it can lead to other things" He then gave her a wink and turned back to Sara, extending his hand
"Troy Jensen, at your service"

The U.S.S. BONDI a transport ship had arrived at DS-5 and docked. She got her duffel bag and slung it on her shoulder and made her way to the air lock. The airlock doors opened and she walked on to the station, looking around she wondered if she was the only solider posted to this colony. From Helm officer to Versatile Specialist on a colony what the hell for she thought to herself.
She guessed it was a job they made up to stick her somewhere. After she got hurt on the Cold Harbor it took her a bit longer than expected to recover from her injuries. She was replaced and the Cold Harbor went on, she did not expect anything less they had a mission to continue. She found a seat and put her duffel bag down and waited till the ship that was to take her to Thales arrived.

"Thank you Skye" she says as she joins them, she sets her duffel bag and guitar off to the side
She looks at Troy "Well Mr. flirt should I need any servicing I'll keep you in mine" She says with a gleam in her eye
She sees a new person enter and smiles at her
