He looked at the man that spoke to him noticing the two women going off to speak privatly about some matter. He smiled catching the humor but not one for laughting. " I guess they thought you would be loanly being the only male so they sent me." His simle deepened as he extended his hand out to the man to introduce himself. " My name is Ivan Thallium Remises, and you would be?"

She smiled at the new comer, "Hello, I'm Skye Logan. Glad to meet ya, Ivan. How was your trip here?"
She watched the women and what happen, making a mental note that Saito was Japanese. Seems they have a similar feeling that the Scots do, toward the English, and Irish. She understood the feelings behind her outrage at the mistake.

He merely watched as Saito left and Sara went to apologize for sticking her foot in her mouth with the other woman. He shook his head, hoping he don't make the same mistake, with either woman
He then turned back to the man as he said " I guess they thought you would be lonely being the only male so they sent me." then introduced himself as Ivan Thallium Remises
"Lonely?!" He could help but laugh at that "With three beautiful women around I doubt I could ever be lonely" he chuckled then grabbed the hand he extended and shook it "Name's Jensen. Troy Jensen"
As Skye introduced herself to Ivan , he glanced over toward where Saito and Sara went, curious if Sara could get her foot out of her mouth

He shook the man's and smiled knowing that he was being light hearted about the friendly joking around. He was about to say something when he heard someone else pipe in and introduce herself as Sky Logan.
Turning around in his chair he smiled a warm smile at her and then extended his hand much like he did when introducing himself to Troy. " Nice to meet you Sky. As for the trip it was a long one but worth it now that I got here." Having a history of sticking his foot in his mouth he didn't say anything more waiting to see what would happen.

"Aye, the trip is long but I agree it will be worth it."
The waitress came over for their orders. Skye order a steak, with all the trimmings.
"I was so worried I'd not be getting a place on the colony. Can't wait to get going agin."

He smiles and nods waiting for her to place her order with the watriss he places his as well. He orders some tea and some stew as this was what he was use to eating on cold days. The station to him was cool so he thought it apporperate.

He kind of nuged Troy since he seamed distracted so he knew the waitress was at the table taking orders.

He felt the slight nudge from ivan and he looked at him, knowing the waitress was there but was trying to be polite, for once, and let the others order before him. That he was still glancing over toward Sara and Saito, they seemingly still in discussion over what happened
He placed his order with the waitress: an order of fish and chips and a diet sprite
He them heard Ivan tell Skye that he " I heard about the colony though a friend and thought it would be an aventure of a life time. I am glad to see that he was right. So, why do you say that you were afriad you wouldn't get a spot? You seam like a very lovely woman."
"Hey, that's why I'm here too. For the adventure and to explore new places.. and to meet more women" He chuckled on the last and winked at Skye. Then turned back to Ivan"Seems like a lovely woman"? I think she is a lovely woman, she don't seem like it" He then glanced back to Sara and Saito "Course, those two over there are pretty hot too"

He noded and then spoke his accent a bit more pernounced then it was before. He was from Egypt.
" I was being polite it is considered rude to court a women in public where I come from. Espcially when one's life could very well be in her hands."
He paused for a moment to consider his words before speaking again.
"There is a saying that was said often to me as a child. That women are like the mighty river that runs through our town. Both can be calm and a source of life or turbulant and a taker of life. All of it depends on how well we take care of her or her us."
He was not elagent with words but he hopted it would be enough to make his point that women where he came from are highly prized and treated with the most respect always espcially when in public.

He just blinked, taken aback by Ivan's statement, feeling like he just got a sucker punched to the stomach
Then he replied in a serious, but friendlytone "Look, Ivan. I don't mean to be disrespectful in any way nor was I courting any of them.. yet. I was merely flirting with them in fun.
I was taught growing up that women should be respected and loved and taken care of. Everything should be 50/50 or close to that. I'm pretty sure that's the way of it where you're from too, isn't it?
He was sure that it was or he wouldnt have brought it up

He nodes," Yes it is now. If my statement made you uncomfortable that was not my intention. I have been told I can be blunt at times in stating my beleifs." He went back to being silent as that seamed not to get him into truble like his lack of socail graces did.

He shrugs, trying not to let he misunderstanding get him down
"Hey, that's quite alright, buddy. I think sometimes a little bluntness does a little good. As for stating your beliefs, who'll believe in your beliefs if you don't believe them yourself?
He chuckles a bit, wondering slightly if that even made sense

Skye looked at Ivan, smiling. "I guess I was worried cause its been a dream of mine to be a colonist. I no my skills are needed a great deal, but still. I had to remind myself that opportunity knocks more oft then most realize, if I didn't git it."
"Thank ya kindly for your compliment." she smiled and slightly blushed. Coming from him she had a feeling it meant more then from the Troy.
"I agree this should prove to be an advantage as well. I canna see boredom happening often."

He smiled at Sky when she responded back to him." No, it will be far from boring. If not for what we have to do to work togeather and survive; then for the many personalities that will be interacting." This was the first time away from home for him so he was still trying hard to be calm inside. He still was uncertain as to what he would be doing but knew that whatever it maybe he would be doing it for a cause he very much belived in.
