I have another request of you. He interlaced his fingers and rested them on the desk. I have another new pilot. She is... He paused for a moment. How do I put this...young. She brings many good skills to the table, but she has a little more attitude than I like in a young pilot. This mission we are about to embark on is delicate so I would like you to mentor her. I'm going to put you on the same flight rotation and I'd like you to help her pick a RIO. She's a green as they come but has potential. I'd like to see that potential brought out.

"Aye Sir anything to help out. Do we have a list of RIO's on the ship right now so that I can help her find a good one?" He was thinking for a few. " Also what is the other pilots name so maybe I can talk to her one on one and see what type of person she is."

Very good, He smiled. The pilots name is Ava Walker. You can get a list the available RIO's from Chief Patricowski. In the meantime, I want you and your RIO down to sickay. You are to have a full physical before I set you loose in my squad. I want stress test, bp and the works. When you pass, He said with confidence. I'll have you heading up Bravo squadron. I'm assigning Ava to that one. We have three. Alpha, Bravo and Echo. I lead Alpha and a man name Leslie Bickerstaff leads Echo. Don't worry you'll hardly see him he patrols third watch. Is there anything else you needed?

A nod of his head was given " Under stood Sir. I think all me and my RIO will need is a locker and a Room for us to stay in. Nothing fancy at all"
Marl for one did not like fancy areas at all.. He liked things keep ed simple as possible till he and his RIO had to fly then it was work time.. But he was always working in some way.

As an officer you have a choice. He thought for a moment. You can have a room on the officer's deck or you can have a room on the pilot deck. The pilot deck is a bit more sparse and the accommodations are cramped. See the quartermaster for your assignment choice. Any other questions?"

He would think for a few." Is there a room for me and my RIO to stay together or is that out of line Sir? If so we would take officer rooms." He did not want to get into trouble at all.

Joint quarters must be formally requested and signed by the Commanding officer and department head. If you wish that you would have to put in a request. Fraternization between officer can be distracting, but it is not illegal. If you wish it I'll forward you request, but I must warn you that I have not served with the Colonel long and do not know him well.

a nod of his head was given. " Aye Sir.. we are not together to tell you the truth we just find it better to work as a team if we share a room.. so what ever we have to do to do that will work for me sir"
" I am glade to be working for you and with you and hope to do well here. I will get with Ava once I get all my gear and my room.. If that is ok with you Sir?"

A nod of his head was given " Aye Sir. I will go get this work done for you asap with my RIO Sir. Do you need me to do any more things after seeing the Dr?"
He would stand and so did his RIO.

"Down time is not something I look forward to be doing at all.. I like being on the move and all. Work is something that keeps people out of trouble down time gives to many people a chance to get into trouble"
" I will get to sick bay with my RIO and get a full work out and then go to the next person.. I shall see you later Sir" With that he would salute Lt Lassiter as he would then leave his office to get his work done with

Post by Chief Bart Patricowski on Feb 4, 2011 9:41:50 GMT -5
Bart had finally cleared medical and boy did he feel better. He rubbed his 'pain free' leg, and was ecstatic. He thought he might lose it,but the Tarawa medical staff surprised him again. Now, that he had his 'bout with danger' it had changed him. Bart looked at the Hanger deck as an old familiar friend before the accident. Now he was all too aware of the dangers. It was still his deck for the time being but he did have a lot of thinking to do.

She gave Anara and Leeta a hug and kiss "I'll see you two after my shift ends" she smiles to Yuna and heads off to the fighter Bay.
In the Fighter Bay she goes over her fighter making sure its to her specifications, and waits to see if CAG as any orders.
