We shall see, He paused and handed her a PADD. This has your quarters assignment. You should already have a locker assigned and your first patrol is in thirty minutes. Welcome to the Tarawa, dismissed.

She takes The PADD and looks at it"Yes Sir I have my locker assignment, I will be ready for my first patrol" She salutes him and turns on her heals, then heads for her quarters.
In her Quarters she put all her things away, then takes a shower and changes into her flight uniform, and sits down having her a root beer till its close to her patrol time.

Marc let out a sigh of relief when his new pilot exited the office. She represented the last of his duties for the day. He knew there was a big gathering in Five Forward, and his first thought was to go there and have a chat with the returning CO. It was a fleeting thought though. After his bout with Operations staff, and his short goodbyes to his officers, then this new pilot having to be given his 'standard' speech Marc was tired. While all the other officer were already at liberty; Marc was on Tarawa. 'Marine, you work too hard.' He said to himself in the mirror as he changed tunics. 'Too late for anything formal now, its BDU's until at least tomorrow provided you can get liberty tomorrow.'
There was something to look forward to, he thought. He still might get some time in with 'Ivey'.
"Computer, locate Major Iverson." He ordered.
"Major Iverson is in her quarters." The computer answered.
This would be dodgy, He thought. He was sure that Davey was down for his nap, and then there was going through the Marine area. As he walked out of the hangar deck, and into the turbo-lift he thought about the last few times there. Relations between Infantry and the Air Corps was always that way. It didn't matter that they had the same person that was ultimately both their CO's , Iverson. Both units couldn't be more different. He was happy that it wouldn't be and issue this time. He stopped at the crew deck and walked down toward her quarters.

She woke up early, showered and ate breakfast in the messhall, when she heard the Ships announcement.
She hurried to the Hanger Bay in case the CAG had any orders before he headed to the meeting, once entering the Hanger Bay she fell into line with the other pilots

The LSO officer got the call of the pilot coming in and seen the fighter roll in behind the Tarawa.
" Call the ball when you are ready. All is clear and you are in the green."
Marl looked over things as well. He seen the meatball lights on and seen how his wings where.
"This is Ark Angel I have the ball."
He would cut power and would lower the gear and hook. 3 wire was always what he wanted and he always got.. He was almost in the top 100 of the class.. He was off from being 100% by one number
He would see the wings where good and felt like it was school again.. the LSO came over and gave him more numbers and he would touch down.. Sparks flew off the deck as the 3 wire was pulled hard.
Marl Had no idea he got it and as always he pushed back to full power.. Once seeing the readings drop he thought fast and pulled the power back on the engines of the fighter.. The wine of them seemed to drop and he rolled back as some on came and cleared the hook of the wire..
He will then move his fighter to where they wanted it at and would open the cockpit. He would look back at his RIO." Be nice here people are good here OK?" His RIO will nod
He and his Reo will let there gear stay in the fighter.. HE was looking for the CAG seeing the CAGs office he would ring the chim to the CAGS office.

Marc said his goodbyes to Ivy and headed for his office. He notice a pilot waiting not to patiently outside. Pilots rarely were patient so this was no surprise. Is there something I can help you with?

He would turn and would salute the 1st Lt, " Aye Sir I am the new pilot Sir." He would pull out his orders and would hold them out to the officer.
He did not move nor say anything else. His Rio would do the same. Both seemed to have been working together for some time.

He looked the officer over without comment then tapped out the security code in the door. "I don't as a rule meet my pilots at the front door of my office." He motioned him step into his office. We'll talk for a moment. He stepped in expecting Fallon would follow.

Marc seats himself. "As you were, and by all means sit down." He puts his orders to the side still not looking at them. Tell me about yourself Pilot Fallon. I want to hear something that would not be in a personnel file."

He would sit down. " You can say I have a thing for old classical music. I find it some thing to help calm down After a long day."
He would think for a few " I also do some of my own work on my fighter. It gives me my own feel for my own fighter. I also have a passion of going on sail boats and just sailing around."

Well, you'll have to talk to my deck chief about that. He's very possessive when it comes to the fighters. I see you brought a RIO with you. Have you been working together long?

A nod of the head was given. " Yes we have been working together for a year and a half now. Also brought my fighter I had on my last assignment as well since it had my name on it."
He would look to his RIO " Only thing is that my RIO does not talk much but when we are in the fighter. No idea why for She will not tell me." Looks back to Lassiter.

Your craft will have to be looked over to make sure they meet Tarawa specs and given air group insignia. He finally looked over his orders. I've noted that you have some experience and have seen enough battle. I'm going to let you know that of all the air groups you've been in the Tarawa keeps the highest standard, my standard. I just transferred to officers off my ship and one is now a CAG on another vessel, but she did not meet Tarawa standards. I expect three wire traps at all time. Pull two consecutive 'two wires' and you go on probation. Pull a one wire and a ground you on spot. I expect you to conduct yourself with honor both on and off duty. I want no skirmishes with the Infantry brigade, am I clear on these things?"

A nod of the head was given " Under stood Sir. I hope I keep to your standards Sir." Marl would watch Lassiter. He was glade to be on a ship like this.
