Several hours later, movement other then the steady rise and fall o his chest was registered from him. An ear twitched involuntarily and his eyes popped open. For a moment he didn't know where he was but then he looked around and realized he is in sickbay
He remembered he was able to make it down on his own, barely. That was until the doctor had pushed him from the TL into sickbay in a chair with wheels and then took care of his injuries, ordering that he should rest as well
Having rested, he feels much better. He spiraled his tail, testing it out. No pain, which is a relief. He rolled over on the bed he was sleeping on, and stood on all fours. No pain, so far, in his leg either. He jumped down, putting a little weight on his formerly damaged leg. If felt as good as new.
He stood up on two legs and wondered if it would be alright to leave his room? Last time he tried, Doctor MacAuley had tracked him down and virtually pulled him back into sickbay
This time, he decided to wait, but he won't wait too long

She left her office to go on last rounds before retiring for the night. When she entered the Captains room she saw he was awake and looking much better.
"Evening Captain, how yer feeling?" She ran the scanner over him and smiled.
"I suppose you would like to get back to your own bed. Well your well enough to do that. I want you to take it easy for a few days. You will still be a wee bit sore but nothing that would interfere with your duties. So be on your your way or I can set yer up for the night" A wide smile was seen crossing her face

He was contemplating what the next mission would be when he turned his attention to the doctor as she entered his room. "I am feeling quite well, Doctor. Thanks to your expert care" He answered after she asked how he is feeling
He watched as she ran a scanner over him. She apprently approved of the readings by the smile that lit her face, and the room. Her smile widenly even more as she lightly pulled at his tail ( joked aound ) "I wish for my own bed, Doctor. As much as I enjoy your company, I wouldn't want to be in your hair and be a nuisance. The soreness I can handle." He then stood up from the bed, placing a hand on her shoulder in a friendly manner "With that in mind, I shall get out of your fur before you decide to set up a second home for me here." He said, using his own humor
He then walked around her and out of the room. He paused in the main lobby of sickbay and caught M'Leezz's scent, he thought. The scent was stong but a lingering one, as if she had been here but then left. He thought he had detected her scent briefly in his room but he couldn't be sure.
Determining that she left, he continued on and left sickbay altogether, heading towards the bridge to let his First Officer know that he is still alive and breathing

She watched him as he left the room, smiling. Everyone is always so quick to leave. As she was going to her office she noticed he paused for a moment, as if looking for something. She really needed to learn more on felines.

Returning to sickbay she worked at securing the various things that needed to be secured. Like patients, experiments, supplies etc. While she was not worried about a bad docking she knew things could on the best day go wrong.

Once they were docked she walked out of sickbay going to her quarters to begin her leave.

She felt the ship began to move and then checked on the 2 patients who were there to be sure they were in the restraints used for leaving a star base.
After she was sure they were fine she went to her office and got to work. Once it was safe the restraints would be removed.

She finished the last of her reports and then opened the file on her experiment. It was on a mold that was found on their last mission. So far it was fairly uneventful and well not at all what she expected. It was acting as any other mold would in a similar environment. Its spores so far, were non toxic and held no irritant to most species. But she had a few more things to add, changing the conditions.
The Star Fleet lead officer on the away mission from the USS Concorde said its spores were hallucinogenic to humans. Causing them to feel superhuman. So that didn't hold true or at least not yet.

Sorry for the long delay in posting, but between health, personal, and economic reasons I was detained. But the doc is back. lol ______________________________________________________________________________________
See received a special communication from Star Fleet Medical, she opened it and began to read the report. He was in a prolonged coma following an accidental plasma discharge. His frontal lobe was hit and the neurons were depolarized. Thanks to our new allies, the Romans had a technology they used. Which undid almost all the damage done. ::I would have loved to see that but they are not sharing yet:: He was left with generalized weakness and limp.
She would work out a therapy program to regain strength, and endurance. Hopefully the limp would lessen as it was used more. Glancing at the time she began to draw up a schedule for the therapy sessions. Knowing Grabfoot would want to see it.

Looking at the time she stood then walked out the day was finished for her shift. Laughing, Colina learned long ago there was no set schedule for a Doctor. She could and has been in the past called at all hours of the day and night. She left going to lounge for some supper.
