She sighed, You're right I need to rest, but its kind of hard to do it in sickbay. I wish I could recoup in a more privet place with you. She tried to move but couldn't so just squeezed his hand back to let him know that she could feel him trying to comfort her.

He slowly and lightly brushes her forehead, doing so lovingly.
"I know... But... we need to work toward that... Right now, until the doc says otherwise, you have to rest." he whispered.
He decides a little humor might be needed, and whispered again to her.
"You know... if needed, I know I can make that an order."
He said that, knowing full well that Doc MacAuley probably will do that.

She shook her head, No you don't need to make it an order. I don't have a choice but to lay still. I can not however rest. For in China when in public we are to be aware of our surroundings and at home is where we rest. With our family to help us heal. Showing signs of wear because of all the pain that was suddenly gone and having gone through surgery her voice was much more quiter then normal and her eyes not as viberant.

The EMH activated himself after a few hours. Deactivated the paralizing screen and checked the back for any infections. He found none. Being a computer he was able to do it quickly without much pain to the pasent.
Sighing he spoke, "Everything is healing properly the cheif of medican should be able to take over primary care with no issues to contend with. What she recomends for theraphy and also recovery I will back up. Doctor I will decativate myself as you are present and fully capable of caring for Lt. Greyhouse and her husband." He then flipted off again.

Seeing how the EMH was not completing the medical procedure he started she knew it would be left to her. To say she was annoyed was being well less then honest.
Hearing his parting words grated on her like chalk against a blackboard. And once again he was gone in a flash. He will back her and her TP (treatment plan) and deeming her fit to care for a patient. Ach, the nerve of a machine. She read over the skimpy notes he kept and noticed the important things like PT attitude, outlook and what was expected was woefully missing.
"Lt, how are yer? I see by its examination your free of infection. I would like to keep you that way so for the next 3 days I would recommend antibiotics. I will run the regenerators again and the pain you have been experiencing will gone. Yer should be able to leave sickbay tomorrow morning provided all vital signs remain as they are."
"Yer physical therapy will start today with mild exercises. It will then work up over the course of 2 weeks to a full 30 minutes 2 times daily. This will strengthen your spine and muscles in that area."
"As far as work is concerned you will be grounded as they say for the next 2 weeks when another exam is done. At that time we will see how you are and if you return to the bridge."

"Is it safe to move out of Sick Bay, likely to be able to rest in one's quarters?"
He was asking for Kestral in this case.

She noded at the doctor I understand and will follow your instructions to the letter. I do not want to risk a relaphs or even an infection. She then hear Crio ask her if she wanted to rest in quarters she looked at him, Yes, yes I would like that. Now that we got sechdual down as to what we need to do in order to get my back up to full. She smiled at him, that is if the good Doctor thinks my progress worthy of such a move.

As the TL doors opened a wheelchair was waiting for the Captain. He was helped into the chair, while Colina moved quickly to the sickbay to get ready to treat the Captain. As soon as he was wheeled in, he was placed in exam room 1. The nurse on duty made him comfortable and started the scans.
She walked in, smiling at him. "Lets see what we have here." She read the scans, discovering he had a pinched nerve at the base of his tail, a green stick fracture of his left fore leg. Along with a slight case of fatigue.
"Ach, its nothing we can't handle. You have a pinched nerve which caused you to lose your balance resulting in your fall. There is a green stick fracture of you left foreleg. And finally, you'll be staying here until your fatigue is gone."
She took out the bone regenerator and started to close the fracture. Once that was completed she began to correct the pinched nerve.
"I'll be giving ya a sedative its the best way to cure your fatigue." with that said she used a hyper-spray.
He was taken to his bed in room 1. When Colina left him he was fast asleep. She went to her office to complete the report.

He saw the chair with wheels as soon as the TL opened onto the medical deck. As he was assisted into it, he started to protest, saying that he could walk, bot soreness overrode his pride and he allowed the Doctor to push him into sickbay, where a nurse took him to exam room 1 to wait for the good doctor.
He didn't have long to wait. She came in, gave him a medical smile and looked him over with a tricorder. She told him, after scans were finished that a nerve was pinched at the base of his tail, he had what she called a green stick fracture in his fore leg and has a bout with fatigue. The fatigue he knew, cause he felt exhausted. She told him that he would stay until his fatigue. He looked at her "I have a ship to run, Doctor. I cannot stay for any extended lengths of time. Although, I will follow your instructions." cause he knew that she is one of the only people can over step his orders. That and he was too tired to argue
He felt the touch of a hyper spray when she told him that she would administer a sedative. He started to tell her the sedative was not necessary, that he could fall asleep on his own, but he could already feel the sedative's effects. With a pair of nurses assisting him, he made it to his bed in room one, although he had fallen asleep about half way there

Before leaving sickbay for the day she checked on her patients. She was concerned with the captain, he had really pushed himself on this and would need rest. His injuries were minor and already taken care of, all that was needed now was a few days recovery.
She left and decided to go to the lounge.

She went directly to the sickbay, her limp was less noticeable. As she walked in, she was very quiet. She went into the captains room and seeing him asleep, she went and carefully pulled the cover up.
She sat there for a few minutes before leaving to return to her quarters. Just as she was able to leave Dr MacAuley came in and noticed her limping. She tried to leave but then saw the Doctor point to an exam room. Sighing she went into the room.

She walked in, smiling at the Lt. Turning on the bio scans she started to read the data stream.
"Your foot is healing well but you didn't let it rest enough. No harm done. I wish I could use the auto structure's on it, but the structure of you padd, prevents that. Once it closes a tad more I can try an old Earth remedy. Its where the padd would be kept closed by a special glue."

She listened to the doctor explain this strange procedure to her and her tail started to twitch.
"Doctor, did you say you were going to use a glue substance? I don't know about you but I was always told that glue was bad for you. I hope your kidding Doctor."

"Yes, but its a medical compound that is called glue to the laymen. I assure you, its not what your thinking at all. Now I have one other treatment to try first. I want you to put this salve on twice a day with a new dressing. Its a treatment I found that was developed for this by a Doctor on Alpha Cenutura."
"Now if its gonna work we will see real improvement within 24 - 36 hours. I'm concerned that it might infect."

"I'll do what you told you me, Doctor. So in 36 hours it should be a lot better if this treatment works. Thats great."
