"Interesting thought about our Colonel.It is like you said the pink skins can be surprising.Now that I am here and have a lodge mate I am very happy.And has the Versatile Specialist I can always set climate controls properly."
"Chuckling as he took a bite of his stew."I have enjoyed the Tarawa so far.The crew makes a decision and sticks with it during a mission.They may have to adapt their plans as it goes along but that is normal.As situations change so must our plans.It is how seamlessly they execute those changes that I find fascinating."

He watched her get up from her perch on the coffee table after he offered her a seat next to him, she mentioning that the growls of his stomach telling her that he needed to eat
He hadn't noticed the growls of his stomach, not in the presence of rhis beautiful woman. It was only after she said somrthing that he noticed
She came back over with Oskoid wraps, his favorite, and Uttaberry wine, sitting down next to him and feeding him, his arm still reluctant to work on it's own with it still being sore, but not as sore as before
He smiled at her when she asked if he was enjoying them. "Yes, I am enjoying them immensely. They are my favorite."
He watched her some wine, leaning forward to do so. He took the offered wine with his good hand and smiled when she toasted him "the best looking tactical officer aboard" He raised his own glass in toast "Even moe enjoyable is being with the most beautiful Helmswoman in the fleet, in the quadrant even." He then took a sip of his own wine, enjoying the flavor as it went down

She laughed, "Thank you, but are sure about the entire quadrant? I really enjoyed our time on Earth at the Falls. Leave never last long enough, or least it seems that way when your at a place that is so beautiful and romantic."

"How long I'll be here depends on the IG. I am one of a few fully exchange officers. I could if I wanted wear my IG uniform, but decided it would be easier if I didn't."

Taking a drink of his tea,"Yes I think it wise of you to wear the marine uniform.They are very proud of their traditions and their uniform is one of them."
"I do not think most have any idea what it means to be in the Imperial guard yet if they were to work together I think both sides would find a mutual respect for one another."

She nodded at his comments.
"I just feel more comfortable this way. Helps to blend in a little not like my blue skin and antenna would not be a beacon." Her eyes showed the glint that was indicative of geniune laughter, in addition to the movements of her antenna.
She started to clean up after dinner and then asked if he would enjoy some Andorian ale. It was something she enjoyed after dinner.

His antennae moved showing laughter as well."Yes some ale would be nice.I am glad that by luck or our Colonel that I have another Andorian aboard ship with me."

Her eyes had the gleam that was so indicative of an Andorian laugh. "I wonder if you will still think that in a few months."
"I think perhaps I'll go to five forward tonight. Your welcome to come or to visit the station if you haven't seen it before. Perhaps a visit to the holo deck." she was thinking out loud but he knew he could say what he thought or would like to do.

After leaving five forward she got Davy from day care then went to their quarters. She put him on the floor to crawl around while she got him his dinner. She gave him his favorite a bowl of spaghetti and meat balls. Sandy had to watch him or he would be wearing the bowl on his blond hair. It was funny but a real mess to clean up.

"Then let me get dressed and we'll leave." she smiled. 5 minutes later she was dressed.
"Shall we leave?" walking out she waited for Akeen to walk beside her and they talked quietly in Andorian while making thier way to five foward.

They entered the Turbo-lift and he ordered the deck for his quarters. I don't blame you. He chuckled. I remember when I first arrived too, and it was pretty laid back then also. If you see any parts or boards laying around, fear not. He held up one finger in a mock declaration. They are simply spare parts.
The lift opened and he led her to his living quarters.
DUAL POST ON CREW QUARTERS WHERE THE REST WILL BE MOVED.

The door opened and as before, he stood aside to let her enter first."Such a disappointment. I was certain someone of your engineering caliber would have the entire room programmed to do his bidding." She looked around for someplace to sit that wasn't occupied by personal belongings and finding the most likely candidate, a chair with a soiled work shirt thrown over the back, perched herself on the edge of the seat.
"I haven't seen much of you since the engineering tour you gave me when I came aboard. Then again, I suppose most of us have been occupied with the retrieval of Colonel Kaine." She shook her head. "So many people working dedicatedly and passionately and when we arrive here, she's taken out of hands with hardly a rustle of paperwork. Will we even find out what happened to her?"
