Kelly entered his quarters and immediately took a hot shower.One bad thing about being a pilot he got nearly as dirty as an Engineer.
He dried off and put on one of his nice shirts and khaki pants.He was about to replicate some food but had an idea.
He walked over and hit the control for the ships COMM.Computer patch me into Captain Zarlena Dorius quarters please.She was not there so he left a message.
"Hey Zar its Kelly I thought you might enjoy a real Australian dinner for a change.If you are interested and have no other plans just let me know." He hoped she would accept his invitation but knew she was very popular and might have other things to do.

She walked the short distance and stood outside their quarters. She opened the door and the cool air that greeted her was comforting. She walked in and called Akoval not hearing him she went into her sleeping area.
Jay undressed got a towel then got her Andorian silk night grown that her birth grandmother made for her. Walking into the shower area she went in and enjoyed the shower. After 5 mins she finally began to feel comfortable again.
Jay got out towel dried her hair, groomed her antennae. She put on the silk nightgown, carrying her towel she placed it in the reclaimer.
Jay heard Little One yelling, she went out checking the cage. She found Little one had the other backed into a corner and was telling her off.

Morgan ran to her room.She only had 30 minutes left.she showered fixed her hair and put on a little make up.She put on a pair of jeans and her marine tee shirt.taking one last look she headed for Five Forward.

Zar opened the door to her quarters she heard the comm beep and walked over.
Computer what is the message.
She heard it was Kelly Roberts voice. "Hey Zar its Kelly I thought you might enjoy a real Australian dinner for a change.If you are interested and have no other plans just let me know."
She stood there for a minute then smiled.
She sent the following message.
Hello Kelly. I would enjoy tasting a real Australian dinner. I'll take a shower and change. I should be there in say 30 minutes.

( Joint post between Kyah Richardson and Thomas Kinsely. A late dinner post the night after the air balloon date.)
Kyah finds herself outside Thomas's quarters after her duty shift and rings the chime.
He hears the chime and goes over the door. "Enter." When the doors opened and he saw Kyah, he smiled. "Hello, Kyah."
"Hey." She smiles and enters.
He leans down and gives her a kiss. "I am glad that you have dropped by." He smiled.
"If I remember right, I should drop by and see my boyfriend." She kisses him back.
"Yes, and I should drop by to see you more often." He said with a smile, taking her hand and holding it. He leads her over to the sofa. "What would you like to have? Water, tea, a massage?" He smirked.
"I just got off duty, is there something for a late dinner perhaps?", she asked Thomas.
"Yes, there is the Five Forward or I can fix you dinner here." He smiled.
"Something from the replicator is fine.", she replied.
"What would you like to have for dinner? Chicken Alferdo?", he asked her.
"Chicken alfredo sounds delicious." She smiles.
He returned the smile. "Chicken alfredo it is then. There is a fine white wine that can go with it." He said as he walks over to the replicator. He tells the replicator of two plates of chicken alferdo.
Kyah Richardson (11:07:39 PM): That smells wonderful
Thomas came back to the table and places them on the table. "But not as wonderful as you are." He winks at her.
Kyah pours wine for them both and toasts him and sips.
He returns the toast and takes a sip of the wine. He watches her from the rim of the glass.
"How did your day went today?"
Kyah sighs. "Long day."
He took a chair out for her. "Judging by the sigh, it was hard too. I can draw up a bubble bath in the hot tub for you later." He smiled at her.
"That's alright, a shower before bed is all I need.", she replied to Thomas.
After pulling the chair out for her, he sat down next to her. "A hot shower always feels good after a long day." He smiled. "I never did like the sonic showers much."
"I don't either." She eats the pasta with a smile.
"There is not much feel with the sonic showers. I like how the water feels. Plus, I sometimes have sensitive hearing."
She shudders. "Oh yeah, I hate how the untuned showers sound. It gives me a headache for a day."
"It is just worse for me if it is untuned." He shakes his head and laughs a bit. He takes a bite of his food and looks over at her as she eats. He smiled at her. "So, have you told anyone yet that we have been dating?"
Kyah raises an eyebrow. "hmmm... I haven't talked to my parents in awhile, with all the madness going on. They'll prolly be calling any day."
"I haven't talked to my parents yet either." His smile turns to a frown. "My father is on the Terrasect and I have gotten word that he was on the away team. The Away team have been kidnapped.", he said to her.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." She frowns and scoots over closer to him. "What happened?"
"Of what I was told, the shuttle the away team were in was destroyed. The Terrasect first assumed that they were killed, but there were evidence that they were transported out right before the shuttle was destroyed. They were in the Tythingy (sp?) Expanse."
"I'm so sorry... I hope they return safely."
"I hope so too. I have faith in the crew on Terrasect that they will get them in time. My mother has not been taken it very well."
"It must be very hard for her.", she replied.
"It is very much." He slowly plays with his food and then takes her hands. "She loves him very much." He looks up at her and was able to smile as he looks into her eyes. "I now know how my father felt when he fell in love with my Mother."
Kyah blushes bright red and smiles.
"Has anyone told you that you look beautiful in red?" He smiles at her.
"I do?" She is still blushing.
Thomas Kinsely (11:39:38 PM): ::He puts the fork down and slowly places his hand on her cheek. Slowly leans his face closer.:: Yes, very much so. I dare say that you do look sexy in red. ::He smiles.::
Kyah leans forward and kisses him with a smile.
Thomas returned the kiss, placing the arm around her. "What would you like to do now?" He whispers into her ear.
"I don't know, would it help if you kept telling me about your family?" She looks at him, still concerned for him.
"It may help a bit for me to talk about it. My father and I always were very close, even though he has been a Marine longer than I have been alive." He looks at her, holding her hand.
"Did he encourage you and your siblings to be in the marines, too?", she asked him.
"Yes, has encourages us to be in the Marines. He encouraged me and my brother more than he did with my sisters, but Kimberly joined the Marines along with Brandon. Kelly is one year shy of signing to be in the Marine Academy. My parents were concerned for Kimberly, but they were still happy that she joined.", he replied to her.
Kyah smiles. "I'm sure they would be. My parents thought I was insane."
Thomas returned the smile. "It was just a tradition with our family being Marines. Your parents really thought that were were insane?", he asked her.
"Pretty much, but they wanted me to be happy." She smiles at him.
"I am glad that they wanted you to be happy." He continued to smile. "There are not very many parents like that."
Kyah smiles back at him. "Thanks for dinner. Chicken fettuchini alfredo is one of my favorites."
"I have figured that it was." He smiled. "You are very welcome. You are welcome to stay here again tonight if you want to."
"How could I refuse such an offer?" She smiles at him.
He smiled at her. "I am not for sure." He gives her a kiss. "This time, you take my bed."
"I don't want to do that... it's your quarters.", Kyah replied to Thomas.
He smiled. "I do not mind. We always can share. It is up to you."

Kelly heard the COMM activate and Zar's beautiful voice came through.Thirty minutes he thought to himself,better get crackin.
He wanted the room to be a balance of friendly but slightly romantic.He lowered the lights a little and lit a few candles.In the center piece he had a mixture of red and yellow roses.
He then went to work on a real Aussie meal,Walk About soup,Barbecued shrimp,and the desert,real Strawberry cheesecake from Earth.
He was glad he could talk his sister into sending it before they shipped out.
He walked around his room making sure everything was neat and tidy.Crimey he thought to is himself.This is going to be the longest thirty minutes of my life.

Akoval entered the quarters shortly after jay noticed the little disagreement standing over her shoulder cautiously "shoo shoo " reaching his hand into the cage."get away from her you huge meanie ".waving little one back as best he can extending his hand to the scared little phrama"now now Queenie come on out of there its alright calm now calm">Smiling back atJaylas. "We must have forgotten to feed them is all maybe they are a little upset". taking some fat grass and refilling thier feeders checking the water. "how was your day?"

Thomas stepped off the TL onto the Senior Officers quarters.he walked around the junction to his room.Entering he was still amazed how big it was.
"Computer 20th century Earth Moody Blues,Nights in White Satin please."He took a shower and listened to the melodic sounds of an ancient band.He walked out and wrapped a towel around himself. he climbed into his comfortable boxers and had a seat.He asked the computer to randomly play more Moody Blues.
Relaxing he picked up his book he was reading and continued.He would go to five Forward in an hour or so.
That seemed to be when it was most crowded.

She finished her shower and then fixed her hair. She finally decided to allow it to hang free. She put on her green floor length dress with silver trim. Looking into the mirror she smiled at her reflection.
She exited her quarters with a bottle of uttaberri wine, then walked the short distance to his quarters. She rang his chime and then waited.

"I see you made back. I only just got your comm I was in the shower when it came. Yes Little One may have been the runt of the litter, but he soon became the terror of the litter."
"I suppose being so much smaller then the others taught him to be more demanding to get what he wanted and needed. I know it was my turn to feed them, but I was in a conference with the Colonel. She's not hurt just a little scared."
"I think I'll have dinner here, then go to Five Forward with you. Unless you want me to meet you there."

Kelly was still trying to make sure his quarters were perfect when he heard the chime.He opened it and saw Zar in a green dress lined with silver trim.
He noticed she had her hair down tonight.And there were those eyes he could get caught up in forever.He bowed and motioned for her to come in.
"Zar you look absolutely beautiful tonight,I see you brought wine very thoughtful of you."He led her in and let her see his room hoping she was impressed.
"Do you want me to chill that wine or do you drink it at room temperature?"He offered her a place to sit.
"Zar I am glad you could come,with all these changes we have not had a place to talk much."He smiled and gave her his playful wink he reserved for her.

"oh no need for subterfuge i'm sure the crew knows we lodge together,and you know i enjoy dinner together in our quarters :looking down;nd dont worry about the little ones just scared and hungery is all they will settle in in time i'm sure" placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "in the meantime i'm sweaty and smell like valve grease I need ashower".Turning and heading his to the shower undressing and humming a little tune to himself happilyas the cold water runs.

As he walked to the shower she checked the cage and cleaned it out. Picking up she shook her head at him.
"Where are your manners? Now be nice to her she will be your cage mate for a time." She patted him for few minutes while he snuggled into her hands. When she put him back he protested loudly. Jay laughed then walked away knowing he would be calm soon enough.
She heard the shower stop then went to get dinner.
She replicated, cabbage stew with mefilhar (similar to goat), bread and extra slices of mefilhar.
"After dinner we can go to Five Forward as you wanted." she called out to him.

Reenterig from the bathroom. "that would be fine of course just for a little visit to everyone you know? making the rounds as its called" >sniffing the smell of the meat and cabbage"delicious jaylas you know just how to replicate a good home cooked meal chuckling to himself lightly. "and besides that you wouldn't want everyone thinking we just hide in here on our off hours would you?"taking aseat at the table running the towel thru his hair and drying his antenna shaking them dry a little.
