He had taken a couple bites of his in'hhui when he heard H'Dean speak up again. At first he thought he was speaking to Veralen, but then realized he wasnt when he asked "How is it like to fly the ship"?
He glanced over to H'Dean, thinking of a response "I would assume it is like flying a fighter craft but on a larger scale and it is not as maneuverable"
He turned back to his meal to take another bite

He took another bite of the bird and thought some more. " I don't mean to sound like a child asking all these questions, but I sort of took this assignment without much preparation. It wasn't like I wasn't one of the first choices. I am very good at what I do. I was top of my class at starfleet academy even though I joined at a older age and handpicked for this. " He leaves out a few other details. "I just wanted you to know that I'm not an idiot just ignorant."

Bajorans enjoy what the humans call 'comfort food' . This is not a bad dish either. He took another bite then swallowed. I also wanted to ask about the blades all of you wear. Is it something I should be wearing? If so, is it an issued weapon or should I use a personal one?

"Should you have one? If you have one I see no reason why you shouldn't carry it. I will need to check to see if one could be issued to you. Each of us have worked hard to earn it. I should have an answer for you within a day or two." She smiled.

So, what you are telling me is that Rihannsu have no will of their own? He stopped himself. I'm not trying to insult your culture at all, but I just never met anyone that follows so blindly. My people fought and oppressor for years so we tend to question everything especially our government.
