He walked into the Lhil, passing up a few crewmembers and proceeded towards a table, holding a PADD in his hand. When one of the Arthhi (chef), came up to him, just as he was about to sit down at the table. Vrih would order Viinerine, a broth like soup, ossoul twist, a tart churro-like dessert and a glass of Kali-fal, a blue drink with an aroma that should forcibly open one’s frontal sinuses before the first sip. As he waited for his food to arrive, he gazed over at the window towards the star, watching them twinkle as he begins to think why he wanted to serve the Empire and the ship, why it was so important to him.
Vrih knew that it is the Romulan Empire that taught him Mnhei’sahe ( Ruling Passion ), in which all Romulans were taught. The Romulan Empire showed him what the true meaning of what loyalty, discipline, and passion was about., the true meaning being a Romulan. It is for this that he was grateful for and pledges his loyalty and his life for.
In a few moments later, his food has arrived He looked up at the arthhi and gave him a nod, taking a soup and would begin to taste the first soup full of his soup. Enjoying his meal on a ship that is one of the finest ships in the Romulan Empire.

She entered the Lhil and scanned the room. She really didn't know anyone on the Dhivael, expect for the ones she meet while waiting for the Riov to begin his interview and state his demands for the crew. She saw the Daise'Etrehafwe, she walked over.
"Arrian would you mind if I joined you for dinner?"
He motioned for to take a seat.
After ordering her food she smiled at him.
"You did a good job in correcting the shields. I know it was minor but for our safety I have always demanded they be at maximum maintenance."
"Do you enjoy playing Ihi? In the Imperial War College, my room mate assisted me in learning the more advanced levels?"
While she spoke he looked at her and nodded. Her food arrived and she took a bite of her salad.

He would look up to hear a familiar voice and would see that it was Veralen, asking him if she minded joining him. He motioned her to a seat that was empty at his table. “Irea tharon u’ caire arhva.” (do sit and join me), he would reply to her. Taking a napkin and wiped off his mouth as he listened to what she has said. He would look over at her, giving her his full attention.
“Hann’yyo (thank you), Erie’Arrain. I do not mind the help. Safety of this ship is always one of our duties. I could already tell that you and I have the same quality of succeeding in each of our own individual demands.”, he continued to say to her.
He leans back in his chair, giving a small smirk in reply. “Immensely, since childhood with my older brothers and sisters. Although, I do have to admit, there have been times that I became stomped on one of the Ihi games.”, he would say.
“Did you actually learn the more advanced levels? As for me, I do find them exhilarating to come up with an answer.” Vrih slowly took a sip of his drink, closely watching the reaction that she would have, waiting for her reply.

"When off duty, feel free to refer to me as Veralen. There is no need for ones titles to be here."
"le, my room mate was on the Ihi team, for the Imperial War College. I was the perfect partner to practice on. And of course easier to beat then most of the opponents she encountered. She was a year ahead of me." She smiled as she thought of those days and nights when Ael would have her in a game.
She began to laugh, "Once it was mid term and field training was scheduled the next day for me. She was leaving for an important Ihi tournament and had to play one last game for partice." she shook her head half smiling. "I knew I should never have played that last round. But then she spoke of the schools honor and reputation. And asked if I wished that to decrease. Need I say more?" She laughed
"Well a bleary eyed over tired cadet reported in for field training. Which would not have been too bad. But as the fates would have it, it was graded hand to hand. My performance was less then average for me."
"My instructor decided that a month of 3 extra hand to hand classes would bring back to my former level. He did not ask and I did not tell him the reason for my poor performance. I took this instead of what he might come up with." Her eyes glint with mischievousness.
"Needless to say my performance returned and improved dramatically. Especially for N'Delrek (resembles jujitsu and wrestling), where the moves of Golradi (joint lock), Kellad (nerve strike) always seemed to elude me. But after many bruises and lumps, I ended up with .8 grade improvement for my foolishness." She laughed so hard after the telling her eyes teared.
She stopped talking as she took another bite of her salad while waiting for her food.

He would give a nod, placing his drink down onto the table. Still having the ossoul twist for him to eat, he would pushed it towards her in order to share the desert. "You may call me Vrih.", he would reply to her. He would take a small piece from the twist and would eat it, smirking as he listened to what she had to say about some situation that has happened when she was in the Romulan War College.
"Quite interesting. As for me, I always been determined to excel in every class that I have been in. Although I could easily take a weapon out of someone's hand, but actually using a single finger to cause great harm to another person.", he would continue to say. It would be quite easy for Vrih to put an enemy to death with a single touch of his finger.
"Aside from that, as for as the Tournaments goes, I was only able go to a few of the finial rounds. I was more interested in my studies during my time in the War College. Learning as much as I can for the betterment of the Romulan Empire.", he would say with such pride.

She finished her salad as he spoke and then sipped at her tea.
"Of course we all studied hard, or we would not be here. It is my understanding that you had to be in a certain percentile to even be considered for this assignment. I just choose to have some fun also." The beginnings of a mischievous smile could be seen.
Her entree' arrived, jumbo Romulan mollusk, and some bread. She was eating light since her stomach was a bit uneasy. The excitement of a new assignment, a new co, being in the exchange program.
She offered some to Virh, by pushing her plate in the middle and using a smaller plate to take 3 of them.
"Have you gone to mediation room yet? I have the room is very relaxing. I found I needed to after meeting our Federation crew members. It will take some time to understand their ways, but it should be enlightening."
After eating her mollusk she ate the offer ossul twist.

He would smirk in reply, taking a piece of the offered jumbo Romulan mollusk. Places it in his mouth and slowly chews on it before swallowing it down. “Yes, that is quite true. Becoming an engineering was something that would bring great honor on my family’s name. They wanted my siblings and I to be more diverse in our studies for different departments for the Romulan Empire. If in cause if a Romulan ship needs an engineer, such as myself, one of use would be well qualified for the position.”, he would reply.
Vrih would take another jumbo Romulan mollusk and would slowly eat it. Taking his time taking in the pleasure of the taste of the mollusk.
“No, I have not yet gone to the meditation room. I do plan on going to the meditation room before retiring for the evening.”, he continued to say to her.
He would make an almost aghast huff, picking up his glass of Kali-fal and taking a drink of it. After swallowing a drink down, he places his glass back down on the table.
“I am shocked that Federation officers were assigned to this vessel.”, he said to her, looking back at her. “Especially a Vulcan. Although, I do find it interesting to see how this Vulcan would take it serving on this vessel.”, he said with a smirk, slowly swirling his drink.

"I plan on keeping an open mind on these Lloann'mhrahel saehne-a (Federation officers). But, I will be keeping an eye open. So far our ways seem to be vastly different. I was truly shocked by the one who injected, after we were dismissed. I wonder if that was nerves, or if it is common among Lloann'mhrahel saehne-a(Federation officers.)"
"I have yet to start my personal task as given by the Riov. Have you started yours yet?"

“Yes, I have started. I think better when my stomach is full and my mouth is no longer parched.”, he would reply to her.
“It is because of the Mnhei’sahe (Ruling Passion) of how important it is to me to serve the Romulan Empire. The Romulan Empire taught me, as the rest of us, of how to live, how to become honorable and disciplined, and how to do our duties with the up most passion.”, he continued to say to her.
Vrih picked up his glass one final time and would finish his drink slowly. Letting the drink slowly go down his throat and enjoying the drink immensely. Then places his glass back down on the table, looking back at Veralen.
“The Mnhei’sahe taught me how to excel in my duties and in my life.”, he continued to say to her.

"It was a pleasant surprise to hear he served under my last Riov. And that he has Incorporated some of this style of command. It should ease the adjustment period." She ordered a glass of critus drink and sipped at it. "Just before coming her I had a short leave on ch'Rihan. I was lucky enough to visit the Valley of Chula. Have you ever been there? It is one of my favorites places to visit. So peaceful, relaxing and calm. I wonder if the Terrans have a place like this??OCC: special thanks to Memony Alpha for the image.

Vrih smiled mischievous when she mentioned the Valley of Chula. There has been no way that he could forget such a place, after being there a few times while on shore leave on the previous ships he have been on before. There were so many fond memories he had while there. But he has been to Ladrosh Mountains more often than he count. Remembering how would climbed those mountains just to see what everything else looked like from on top.
“I have been there a few times, but I have been to the Ladrosh Mountains more often while growing up. I was born and raised in Avretrel, near the Ladrosh Mountains. I can not remember of how many times I climbed that mountain before I entered the Romulan War College.”, he replied to her.
Climbing seems to conditioned him to take on any challenge that was set before him. He always liked a good challenge now and then. Always wanted to show his passion for life.

"I've never climbed, except for the backyard tree, and in the park. You probably did well when it came to climbing during the field exercises."
"We used to go the beach a lot. I have always enjoyed swimming and in secondary school and college I was on the swimming team. I didn't apply for the swimming team in the Imperial college, she smiled when remembering how it came to pass A friend from secondary school saw me and began discussing an event we won.
Well, as the fates would have it the swimming instructor passed and overheard the story. He stopped and said, I will see you in the gym after classes. I was on the team for the next 3 years.

“Quite well, actually.”, he would reply. “And since Avretrel was near the shore, I was given a chance to swim as well. My only curiosity was diving down into the waters and looking at the different sea life and reefs that were below. It did teach me of how to hold my breath for long periods of time.”, he continued to say with a mischievous smile, remembering how he would sneak up behind one of his older siblings as he swam underneath them.
“The only teams I was on was the rock climbing teams, diving teams, and occasion Ihi teams.”, he continued to say. Ordering another glass of Kali-fal. He always had a taste for the drink. Looks back at her as he was given a new glass, slowly taking a sip of his drink.
“The only thing that my professors saw of me of how excellent I was in just about anything that I did.”

T'meryl left her duty station after she was relieved, and made her way to the Lhil. She enter, looked around at the rest of the crew who were assembled there.
She approached the chef and said, " tev'lyo (tea.) and lydiar --( A salad. usually consists of a mixture of ainyeh, ryllh, and tehrila) please," She received her food, and selected a table, sat down, and pulled out her PADD. She read while she ate, looking up occasionally to meet the stare of some of the others in the crew.
