She finished her mediation and walked to the oria (bridge). She stood at the doorway for a second looking in. All the officers there were busy, and in a moment she would join them.
She walked to her faeruwa (duty station) hiding her excitement. Then she entered the access code and waited. The awaenndraev (computer responded by lighting the amnei'chikaru (tactical display). She let her hand very lightly brush the keyboard, so lightly it didn't respond.
She then read the diagnostics report her left eyebrow raised as she read, "shield response time if off by .76 seconds. While this was not a major issue, it could change the course of an engagement, unlikely but possible. She found this unacceptable.
Tapping on her comm link.
"Arrian Hwersuil, this is Erein Sahen at amnei. There is a .76 shield delay time. Please attend to this and improve the response time."
She received a comm from the Riov, Le, Riov I will sent the comm immediately.
She tapped on the ship to ship comm link.
"USS New York, this is the RSE Dhiveal. I have a comm for Riov Radiak, from Riov Cretak. He would like to speak to her at her convenience."

"USS New York I will relay that Riov Radiak is in conferance. RSE Dhivael out."
The comm link goes silent.
She then taps on the comm link for the Riov.
"Rekkhai, Riov Radaik is in conference at the moment. She will respond when finished."

OOC: Miss Cunningham, the way that post went, it was assumed that you whispered toward Miss Vulcan not a thought-cast. If it was a thought-cast, then no, I didnt catch it and I apologize for any errors
Assuming his post at the Helm, he tapped the keys of the console, checking response times, engine and warp output and evasive programs. He then tapped in a couple programs himself and noted a .42 variance in the warp core. He would place a call down to Engineering "Arrian Hwersuil, I am detecting a .42 variance in the warp core reaction. This could decrease reponse time at my console. I would like this to be fixed" He cuts the comm without waiting for a response

He would check each systems carefully, running diagnostics on each systems. Even though the cloaking device was the only thing that had a problem, which was fixed with accuracy, Vrih wanted to make sure that the rest of the ship’s systems were up to standard or above. He always had a certain standard for himself so that he would be considered exemplary in the eyes of the Riov and the Romulan Empire. The Mnhei’sahe (Ruling Passion) was always been on the fore front of his everyday life, along with his duties to the Empire. Every Romulan was taught the Mnhei’sahe since infancy.
He brings up each information on each systems, finding a problem with the shields. At the same time, he would hear from erie'Arrain Veralen Sahen about the shields.
"It is already being worked on. Hann'yyo.(thank you)", he would respond to her.
He would work on the shields and improving on the shields to correct the delay time. With only a few short instance, he was able to fix the problem.
“Riov Cretak, I was able to fix the cloaking device, Rekkhai. It was one of the coils that needed to be repaired. The delay time in the shields has been corrected as well.”, he would say, awaiting for a response.

T'meryl left the ready room and headed for the science station. She spent some time familiarizing herself with the station and the Rihannsu writing. She thought that the meeting with the Riov had gone better than she had expected, but she made a mental note to tell the Doctor to be less friendly with her. One thing she did not want to do was make the Doctor's life harder by being friendly with her, as she knew every Rihannha on the ship would be watching her every move, and distrusting every thing she did. But she would deal with all of it, because this was where she wanted to be. The experience and the gain of different lessons not taught at the Academy would be worth it.
Again, Mark's voice came to her with one of his many sayings, "You knew the job was tough when you took it, Fred." Most of her memories of Mark were of his having some silly saying about everything.

He looks at the monitor and smiles. He sits looking at her remembering long walks in the moonlight, but that was in the past. Now is now.
"Eviess, it has been a while. You have also been favored by the Elements. You haven't change a bit since War College. We just recently arrived with a skeleton crew. The High Command and Tal'Shair in their infinite wisdom have decided we need a Warbird presence in the alliance fleet.
I also have trod into new and unfamiliar space. We are to be a combined crew and I thought I would contact you to as the Terran's say 'pick your brain' since you also are working with a mixed crew. We will be in port till we get our full compliment. I invite you and any officer you would like to bring along a tour of the Dhivael. I know it's been a while since you walk the deck of a D class."

She listened to him, his voice the same deep tone with a commanding air. She was reminded of the hours they spent playing Ihi, discussing political views, plans for the future, and then of things of unsaid. For, was it a year, give or take a few months either way, she could not find a way to move past the relationship ending. He was her first love and would always be special to her. That was then, this is now.
"You Galan are still the flatter," Smiling wide. "and I still enjoy hearing it."
"A D-Class, you are truly blessed. I am in a Federation ship, it is different, and after a year I still find myself adjusting. To walk the corridors of a D-class again, who could resist? I accept willing and you must come here to see the ship I command."
"I would be more then willing to share the insights I've gained and to warn you of a mistake to avoid. I look forward to seeing you again."
"When is a good time? As to visiting the New York, anytime would be good."
She sat back and looked into his eyes. They had not change at all, still intense and could envelope you. She waited for his response.

She was going over some tactical data when her relief arrived. She nodded then gave her report reminding her relief to make sure the Riov-a channel was not disturbed.
She turned and left the Oria (bridge) for the Ihil (lounge). It was time to eat, as her stomach reminded her.
