Begin duty log..........................
As we were preparing to leave Risa we received a distress call from a Vediak Ship. We immediately went to its aid. I was able to detect on scans two Orien Pirate ships 30 mins from our location. Helm was instructed to proceed at best possible speed.
We entered hot and began to fire on the ships. My scans revealed a third ship approaching, it was one of the slaver ships. I must admit my hair stood on end. A slave ship would be there only for one purpose. To recover the survivors and make them slaves.
I was able to pinpoint the weakness on the Orien ships. The slave ship retreated as it not really combat ready to go against a Titan class ship. By targeting the weak points I discovered on my scans we made short work of them.
I was instructed to transport the survivors there were 19 injured and 25 live Bajorans.

Begin recording...................
We have been given new orders to stop the Orien Pirate slave ships from attacking freighters on the shipping routes near the Romulan neutral zone. We come across a ship that they disabled and then took the cargo.
The crew members who were healthy, strong and uninjured were taken for slaves. The others were left to die. We rescued them then went after the slaver ship.
I discovered two ships heading our way to assist the slave ship. They were orien fighters. We were able to defeat them fairly easy due to the fact they entered the battle with damaged shields.

We received new orders to go and assist the USS Pegasus. They are protecting Delta 12 from the Orien pirates and Cardiassians. Ever since the discovery of the Dilithium crystals on their second moon.
We encountered two Orien cruisers who began firring on us. By locating the ship weakness we were able to destroy them.
We are now en route to assisting the Pegasus who has been hit hard. They were lead into a trap, we will need to avoid that on the way. I will be extra careful to make sure the Aryes doesn't fall into that trap.

Personal log...............
Those Cardassians, I swear, if there is trouble you will find them there. Terrans once had a saying the only good injin was a dead one. Well that fits the Cardassians to a tee. I will need to investigate what an injin was. ::shrugs her shoulders:: but whatever they were it was not as bad as bumpy heads.
Its easy to understand the Cardiassian interest in the Delta sector the crystals. The Orien pirates now thats somewhat of a surprise considering the distance.
I wonder how things are back home I haven't heard from my family in awhile.

We received the last of the data stream and I am still currently deciphering it. They used a code, I have only a few symbols to figure out.
It appears the Gorn delivered a shipment to Lyrian ship. And then went on its way. However, there is more but the freighter was destroyed. It is believed that was done because the freighter learned or intercepted a transmission.
I am currently attempting to find out why that transmission was important enough to destroy a freighter over.

We were sent to answer the distress call of the Alliance. They were attacked by three ships which were Klingon BoP's. However, it is unlikely that Klingon's are involued. They are nearing the finalization of a new treaty with the Federation.
Besides there is also that transmission to be considered. It was important enough to destroy a freighter for, and to encode it. I was able to brake the code, but then the wording of it makes no sense. It seems to repeat in a convoluted way over and over. But there must another pattern to it that I have overlooked.
But on a happier note we arrived in enough time so loss of life to the Alliance crew was at a bare minim.

We have returned to the ship from the station. And left, after hearing the great news that the now Captain Radaik (if thats right) of the New York, has been cleared of all charges in the loss of the Alliance. I know her crew is real happy. I spoke to Lt MaIc, a friend on the New York, he said the entire crew was so relieved. Heath also added that she allowed them to view a Romulan ceremony. What a treat. Somewhat jealous.
As we left the station I began to run scans while continuing to work on the coded transmission. I swear by the prophets the one who devised this was determined to ensure it be extremely difficult. But I will brake the code.
We are on our way to the last known position of the rouge Klingon ships that destroyed the Alliance. I secretly hope we find them. I as many have a theory that it is not Klingon's at all, some individuals who got ahold of the 3 BoP's. Therefore giving me the impression it maybe backed by a government.

It was strange indeed. First I was at my station running scans which at first were routine. Then suddenly I began to see some readings that were odd. At first, I doubled checked my console and found it to be working perfectly. So, I re evaluated these new readings and still came to the same conclusions. Naturally I turned my attention to comparing these readings with readings taken at other times.
While engaged in this comparison, I suddenly found myself in 1930's Earth time frame, a place known as Las Vegas. I have attempted to run scans, hoping to discover that happened while hoping Q Perfection was not up to her tricks.
These scans soon showed we were in a holodeck. So I am now attempting to find a way out of this. Via a fluctuation, or weakness in the matrix. So far I have not discovered a way out.

I have not attended to my logs in quite some time. I plan on changing that. I have been pursuing a new hobby. I've started to paint.
At first I had to closely follow instructional programs designed to bring out any talent that I held. Now I no longer need to use these programs and have come to learn that the style I most enjoy is abstract.
I should interact with the crew more then I do. But since childhood I have been very shy. I'm sure it has to do with the occupation of Bajor.

I have some hull pieces of the alien ship and ran exhaustive test on it. The hull is constructed similar to Bajoran defensive ships. I find this very interesting considering where the ships are from and that Bajor has no contact with these aliens.
In another piece of debris I discovered a data chip. Again, I find this to be remarkably similar to the type and construction of data chips used on Bajor. I have continued to work with the language department to try have a complete translation. Also mathematical equations were discovered on the chip. I have the computer working on the answer to the equations.
It is my belief, that the discovery of the equations and the answers will be the undoing or at least slow the aliens down.

Upon rrrecoverrrring ourrr Away Teamsss frrrom the Frrreighter, it wasss dissscussssssed that the Brrrreen may have been aboarrrd ssseeking to take forrrcefulllllly duterrrium frrrom the founderrred ssship. It isss not exactllly deterrrmined what they woullld need the parrrticulllarrr isssotope forrr, but it isss hypothosssizzzed they may need it forrr sssome cllloaking mechanisssm forrr their ssship.
Howeverrr, I wasss not fulllllly involllved in the dissscussssssion, asss I wasss monitorrring the arrrea thrrrough lllong rrrange, ssshorrrt rrrange, and ionic ssscannsss ssseeking to dissscoverrr if therrre werrre otherrr ssshipsss in the arrrea. The Brrreen fighterrr had attacked ourrr ssship, but fllled when we ssstarrrted overrrpowerrring it in the firrre fight.
Rrrecoverrred by the Away team wasss a sssmall Brrreen microchip, 3 cm sssquarrre and rrred in colllor. Knowing the Brrreen ussse biomechanicalll technolllogy, the Doctorrr had me ssscan the chip to deterrrmine the rrrelllative naturrre of sssaid chip. It wasss more mechanicalll than biolllogicalll, ssso it wasss deterrrmined that furrrtherrr ssstudy woullld be conducted in the ssscience lllabsss, rrrather than the medicalll lllabsss.
I ssstarted an elllementalll ssscan of the chip, but have not yet had the resssullltsss. Though, therrre arrre heavy trrracesss of Magnesssium, Phosssphorusss, Duterrrium, and Sssodium. I have not had a chance to make a quantitative analllysssisss of the chip, and willllll not untilll the qualllitative analllysssisss is finissshed. Alllssso, I woullld lllike the good doctorrr to assssssissst with the rrresssearrrch of the chip.
Quessstionsss to be anssswerrred: What isss it'sss purpossse? If it isss a data chip, can the data be rrrecoverrred? If it is a component, can the rrressst of the device it belllongsss to be rrreconssstrrructed from thisss one piece? Wherrre or how wasss it usssed in it'sss orrrigonalll purrrposse? Doesss the colllorrr mean anything? Wasss it of Brrreen manufacturrre, orrr frrrom anotherrr sssourrrce? There arrre no identifying marrrksss that I can sssee to date. The complllete chemicalll composssition of the chip. The quantitative composssition of the chip. Can the chip be replllicated with ourrr currrrrrent techolllogy? The brrreakdown of the chip may take a few daysss yet, howeverrr, due to the sssimilllarrritiesss to sssome of the frrreight I have been exposssed to, it appearrrsss to be a type of isssolllinear chip.
Hypothosssisss: Thisss isss a data ssstorrrage chip of unknown manufacturrre. The data may be abllle to be rrretrrrieved if we can find a way to interrrface with one of our currrrrrent isssolllinearrr chip rrreaderrrsss.
Methodsss: I willllll wait on the Doctorrr'sss input with thisss, asss I am stillllll unfamillliarrr with sssome of the technolllogy in prrractice upon thisss ssship.
Thisss willllll be compllleted enrrrout to the Brrreen Fighterrr'sss dessstination, asss we arrre currrrrrentllly follllllowing theirrr ion trrrailll.

Even though the Arrrryessss managed to dealll with the Brrreen sssship, we ssstilll had the capturrrred chip to figurrrre out.

I had continued to worrrrk on the found chip we rrrrecoverrred frrrom the frrreighterrr, and have found it to be a type of data ssstorrrrage device. What exactllly that data isss in itsss entirrrety, I am not at the moment cerrrtain, but I have extrrrracted ssssome at the expenssse of a smalll data PADD.
Though the inforrrmation gatherrrred wassss enough to grrrrant me perrrmisssion to attempt rrrretrrrrievalll on a lllarger capacity PADD, I have not asss yet trrrried.
