Our scans proved it to be hull material, but closer scans revealed it to be from a Breen Scoutship. This has us all looking for thelogic behind this. The Breensofar from the Alpha Quadrant, in the RSE. We have reached ch'Justarus, but our investigation of the debri continues.
Traces of Trilithium was found fused to the debri, and apparently it blew the ship inside out. Whats more, it was fired upon by standard disruptors, but which species is unknown.

A high concentration on Ion dispersion was found in the area of the caves. Ch'Justarus is known for it's high concentration of Khemocite, a mineral that is heavily used for it's conductive properties.
It is highly prized for it's uses on stembolts, and isolinear chips. Yet raw khemocite has a deflective property, making sensor scans, communications, and transporting impossible.
After detecting several life signs with obvious false identification, I recommended we beam down to the surface, and inspect the caves personally.

With our personal cloaking devices activated, we enetered the caves. The Khemocite still interfered with our readings. We came a upon an array of temporal mines, fortunately some Cardassians, Breens, and Orions were passing, and turned off the field.
Deeper inside we found an area that is apparently for staging fighters. I also picked up traces of trilithium, could we have stumbled on the few remaining caches of weapons not conviscated.

We had a meeting in the reasdy room. ch'Justrarus has a high level of rare minerals. Besides Khemocite, Quadresium is also a rare mineral indigenious to this planet.
Quadresium is the element that is used in the Quad Field Generator that Cdr Lucifel designed. If the Cardassians, and Breen should get their hands on a vain, it would go a long way in building up their military.

The shuttle containing a casinment of Quadresium had left the surface of Justarus. All seemed well until a sensor shadow was detected, and it was pursuing the shuttle.
After using a Tacheyon frequency sweep, I determined it was a cloaked Orion Raider, who's intent was to hijack the shuttle.
We disabled it, and sent a fighter escort with the shuttle. After beaming the survivors to the brig, the Riov was prepared to weed out the intruders on the planet.

We,ve returned to Justuras, and I was part of the away team. The mission is to take out the fighters, and the communication den without causing the caves to spontaneously explode.
Our team made a quick entrance into the hidden hangar, and worked as a team to place explosive charges on the fighters power core. We worked quickly, and made it back to the beam out point, just as we were detected.

The ground assault proceeded, as the Cardassian and Breen launched a last ditch artillirary assault. Fortunately with thier fighters gone, we had the upper hand. An attempt to rush the Away Team also failed, as they used the caves as a shield, but after scanning thier tactic, the Away Team backed off, and thier forces surrendered.
We suffered a number of casualties, but no known deaths. We recovered prisoners as well.

After being assigned to the New York, my arrival was subsequently redirected to the medical sick bays to assist with an ongoing investigation regarding the planet below. There were four Reman's beign autopsied when I arrived, to determine the reason of death. They had willed them selves to death. All the medical signs were there, and our AMO found them.
I continued assisting as I could in with the remaining children, and though I have not yet managed to find my assigned quarters, I will remain with them, assisting in reuniting what families I can. And easing the loss for those who I cannot reunite after such a disaster. Sadly most of the victims we are dealing with are children.

By the elements, this disaster had been bad. I remained in sick bay soothing the children along with the doctor and AMO.
Though, something good did come out of it. The children were allowed to observe while Anarra had her check up, and saw the holographic image of a fetus. It seemed to entrance the children to see something that small, and unable to defend itself.
I have also heard that the Remans were questioned as well, though what the outcome of that was, I do not know. Perhaps I can find out, and more of their physiology.

The investigation planet side has been closed for the moment. I have been assigned to evaluate the information we have collected to date, and have been doing my best to do so. I believe I have been lead to an interesting path for investigations.
After being briefed by the Riov, I was given access to all the information collected to date. Though no patterns are discernable yet, I believe there may be one, once I have had a chance to evaluate more of this.
However, I have been investigation the communication recieved through the Federation channels. There were a couple of hidden orders in the band, though I have not fully recovered them yet, I have managed to isolate one. The Riov has heard this, I passed it along as soon as I could discern the message. I will continue to work on this during my investigation.
Perhaps the elements will grant me the priveledge of bringing more information to light this way.
The Riov says she feels there is not a firm connection between the Federation and the Remans. I agree with her, but I will not set that possibility aside until it has been irrefutably proven to be impossible. All options are still open at this time.
For now, there is either too much data, or not enough. I am not exactly sure which. I am beginning to feel that there is a trap at the end of this, but who has set it, or for whom it was set, I do not know. I must find a way to answer these questions before we become entraped.

We arrived at the colony world of Shai Daishar, and found it all ready under attack. We were assigned to deal with the Federation ships, rather than the Remans, as we did not have a cloaking device.
During the ensuing battle, I scanned the planet's surface where I detected the destruction of the medical facility. I did not detect any other significant damage. However, with the battle around us, I was not able to detect if there was a significant decrease in life signs.

Today the crew of the New York participated in a Victorious Battle. We had begun this engagement under Tal'Shair orders to engage the other Federation ships. We did so, and though our ship has recieved some damage, we were able to clear our sector of the battle, and allow a small compact away team to beam down to the surface.
The destination was a rough camp, twenty kilometers from the nearest habitation which was found through an intensive scan of the surface and confirmed with an enhanced visual scan of the immediate surrounding area.
The away team suffered few casualties while on the surface, and was successfully recovered after we were notified that the hostilities had ended. The Tal Shiar have moved in to complete the remaining investigations.
