Making his way in. A long looking box of wood was in his hands as he will bow to her " Hello Riov." He will stand back up right. Walking over to her desk where he will salute her.
She motions to the chair inviting him to sit down. How are you and your new wife?
Sitting down in the chair " We are doing very well Riov. I have a gift that I will like to give you." The box still in his hand.
A gift? :;raises an eyebrow::
A nod of his head " Yes Riov a gift. May I?" He was asking if he can place it on her desk with his free hand.
Yes but there is no reason to give me a gift. I appericate the thought and care that went into this. It is most kind
Placing the box on her desk so she can open it " I was taught when it is a special day. Even a wedding day it is better to give gifts then to take gifts. So I am giving you this. " His eyes watched hers to see if she will open the box.
She smiled at him knowing he was watching her. She was unfamiliar with this Terran concept and to be honest had never heard of it. It was wrong and impolite to refuse a gift, but it was wrong to take from a newly formed house. There was a short struggle within her between this Terran custom and the ones of her people. Smiling she opened the box.
When the box was opened she will see green silk. It was wrapping something inside of the box. It was about 6'0" long in all. He watched her.
Seeing the green silk she took a minute to admire it. and then carefully folded back the silk.
As she did so she will see a green hilt to a sword. The hilt was Marble. The sheath of the sword was green as well. " Her name is the green lady. No one knows when she was made but she has a song to her one can say when it is taken from the sheath." The sword was a Katana. looked old and well keep-ed.
::she looked at and then remembered they called it a sword. And inspecting it further she noticed it was very old with an air of mystery. As she listened her intinal feeling of mystery was verified.:: I am, indeed, overwhelmed by such an expensive gift. It is an honor to be thought of so highly. But you sure, since you and Anarra are newly bonded, and this would enhance any wall in your home.
" Riov I have hundred or more of the old Katana's. This one was meant for you. Even thought you never where on earth she was made for you. The Japanese believe a sword has a soul. It picks its master. The green lady here, has picked you" He watched her.
She smiled at him. I, have never heard that, and it is interesting. A slight tilt of her head, And how do you know if it has as you said pick someone.
He will smile to her. " If I told you, you will think I was insane or nuts Riov. But I will tell you. Each sword has a soul. If you listen you can here them talk"
She smiled and then looking at the blade she "listened". I hear nothing but I am sure it is because my ears are not trained to hear that.
" Some say they can ere nothing. Others say they can here the blade talk.. But each thing has a sound and a talk. A song, as well. Even this ship can talk. All it takes is just some one to listen to it" Smiles to her.
::smiles:: Prehaps. I am turly honored.
Standing to his feet. He will bow to her. " I am honored what you did for me and being my Riov"
She smiles and then nods. I did, what was the proper thing to do. I was, the who was honored, to be apart of your bonding. It was something I will not forget. In a teasing tone, It is good you can not divorce I doubt I could stand there again uncloth. slightly laughs It seems strange to me to be bonded with no clothing on. But I studied the ways of the Betazoids and knew it was the right thing to do honoring thier ways.
A nod of his head. " Ma'am I shall let you get back to your work. If you ever need to talk or learn more about the sword come by and I can show you more of my swords and old books."
Thank you I just may do that.
Tell you bondmate I said thank you for such a generous gift.

He walked to the Riov's office.He wanted to ask her a few things.looking he saw Rh'vourek.::Bowing slightly::"it seems we meet again."::smiling::"I do not mind however talking Federation all the time tends to tire the mouth.

She was at desk finishing a report when she hears a knock on her door. Then without thinking she calls out.
Plhere. She shakes her head and then adds. ah Enter.
As he Rh'vourek entered he smiled slightly and then slightly bowed.

There is no need to thank me. I required a helmsmen, so I could honor my promise to a crew member. And I wanted a Romulan, who knows our space better?
How are you doing with the crew and how did you kind the console?

I am getting along wonderfully with the crew Rekkhai, they have all been most kind to me. As far as the console goes,"Unbelievable" is the word that comes to my mind. Everything has its place. There is no need for any wasted motion. I can get to everything in one easy movement.The whole console was designed flawlessly. ::grins::

As he patiently waited outside her office his mind wandered back to the day he left to come to the Federation once again.He remembered the look of pride but sadness as he walked from their shop.He remembered deciding to walk to the shuttle port.In the capital it was only a few hundred meters.As he walked he saw the children playing,an artist painting,and an elderly Rihannsu sitting on a bench smiling at the children.As he approached the shuttle he looked back.
Thinking to himself,This is reason enough to participate in the Officer exchange program.

Watching Rh'vourek leave he gave a slight bow of the head.He walked over and rang the door chime.Taking out his PADD and looking at the Engineering section of the ship as he waited.
