J'den takes his PADDS and packs up his personal belongings into a black duffel bag. He takes a couple of paintings off of the wall, but he leaves the escher staircase print on the wall behind his desk. He hopes that the new counselor appreciates the painting and he zips his bag and heads out the door and turns left, towards the transporter room::

:: he enters the access Code for his office and he walks in. The Office is bare, except for a black and white painting of several people walking around in circles on a staricase which goes up and down::: Hm, that's interesting :: he drops his hard-carry bag on the ground next to his desk, and walks to his chair and sits down. He wonders what kind of problems he's going to have to fix, and he looks forward to the challenge.::

Well the first thing to do, doc, is to tell your husband that you're pregnant. ::he sips his coffee:: Oh, congratulations by the way. I'm glad you came to me for my advise.::he takes another sip while he formulates his answer.::
I think you are very capable of taking care of your new baby by yourself, but I think Mark should still be involved. Even though he's not on our ship anymore, he's still around, and he's gonna love this baby as much as you will. You need to realize that this is going to change your whole life. In 8 or 9 months, You're going to be raising the next great healer. ::laughs:: I'd come to me at least once a week for some pre-parental training. I could talk to the captain about easing off of your duty schedule if you'd like?

::She smiles:: "Ive already sent him a subspace message, but I dont really know where he is at the moment, I wish I did. Actually It will be in 10 months that my whole life is going to change, Betazoids area month longer then humans. It would be very much appreciate some parenting training. I'll be contacting my mother also, she is sure to give me a lot of advice. ::She pauses.:: "I do appreciate your offer to speak with the captain, but I think I will do that myself."

Well doc, I don't know Mark very well. And I also forgot you were betazoid ::laughs:: Ok, so 10 months til your life changes completely. I think that's what pregnancy is for, to get used to the fact that you're going to have a baby. It gives you time to prepare. If you need any help, with anything. Just let me know, but for now, relax, congratulations. I don't know if I can compare to your mother, but I defenately know how to help you with your pregnancy and the child's infancy.

She walks down the corridor and nods at the officers who greet her. At the moment she has one thought in mind and that is to get the kuoku-a (young people in this instance teenagers), the assistance they required. She stood at the door and rang the chime.

She walked in and stood looking at him for a minute.
I would appreciate it, if you were to speak to the Romulan Teenagers. I have a feeling they were being held against their will and without family knowledge. If this is the case they were intended for the Slave market.
Now, while we have no problems with owning slaves, we do not enslave our own. I believe for that, the system is called indenture servant. This is a cultural aspect and if you require more information on it, it can be supplied.
But for now, the emotional impact and the health of the teenagers must be a priority. You will find a wealth of information on our teenagers in the data banks.
I will of course be kept informed of their progress and any concerns. Under our laws, I as the commanding officer will act as guardian for them. Do you have any questions or concerns?
Oh, it will be most helpful if you can gather any information on their captives.

::He grins, after hearing the part about extracting the information about the captors, but the rest is easy for him.::
Yes Ma'am, I am very familiar with indentured servitude and I think that there is a big difference between what was going on back there in those caves, and what I personally consider to be indentured servitude.
Now while I understand that these kids have been through a traumatic ordeal. I, well nobody in the Federation actually knows or understands the behavior of Romulan adolescents. We've just never encountered any. That being the case, ma'am; and assuming ::with a grin:: that you were once a Romulan teenager yourself, any insight you could give me into their behavior, their possible reactions, and their way of thinking would be apprecieated by me, and them, very much.
That would also help me get the information out of them, without making it feel like I'm interrogating them.
