She nodded to Yuna. That would be most helpful. She looked back to her console and started on her work going over ideal warp field configurations for the ideal flow through subspace. At the same time she was adjusting the synthetic grav field and see how it would effect the simulation model.

It had been 40 minutes she had run numerous computations and found the best gravimetric setting for the ship. She looked to the Commander. Sir I have completed my work. We may power up the warp drive and proceed to our destination. If we proceed at warp 8.5 for 6 hours 22 minutes we will make up the time lost. At that time we may proceed at warp 7 and arrive at our appointed time. She waited for his responce.

His attention moved back to the Lt at Ops as she reported completion of the recalibration and best settings for the gravemetric warp fields. She even added at what speed to make up for lost time to reach the mission coordinates. He nods at the young woman "Acknowledged and Thank you, Lt. That was most expediant of you. I shall inform Colonel Hall of your report and see what his wishes are."
With that, he tapped his comm badge to contact Col. Hall "Colonel. We have completed recalibrations to the Gravimetric feeds for the warp nacelles. We can resume warp speeds at your leisure." He paused and waited for his response

His com badge chirped as he rode the TL to the bridge tapping his com badge "Resume Course best speed" he replied

He heard the Colonel's response, also getting the impression he is on his way back to the bridge "Acknowledged, Colonel." He turned and gave a nod to T'Leynti "Resume Course and speed at your calculations: Warp 8.5 for the time you speciifed then reduce to warp 7." He waited for the young woman's response with a glance back to the viewscreen

She nodded to the Commanders order. Aye Commander. She turned back to her console and powered the warp drive back up. as soon as the warp drive read normal she set speed and the Tarawa was back on it's way.

She heard the call from the Hanger bay and raised a brow. she opened the channel to the hanger bay to respond and replied. Acknowledged Hanger bay. She then closed the channel and then opened the ship wide comm. Attention all pilots and Hangar personnel report to the flight deck in five minutes. Attention all pilots and Hangar personnel report to the flight deck in five minutes. That is all. She closed ship wide comm.

A Distress call is picked up from a Vulcan Science Vassal in the K149 system
OPS fines We are the closet ship 2 days at max warp from them

Enters the Bridge just after the distress call is received, and takes his set he looks over at OPS waiting a report

Her comm panel lights up with the Distress call, she taps her panel and starts to read the message. Sir receiving a distress call from a Vulcan science vessel called the T'kahr they are in the K149 system. Looks at some fleet patrol routes and sensor readings. We are the closet ship to them Sir at maximum warp it will take two days to reach them. She paused for his response.

Hail the Booties System tell them we are delayed, a distress call came in he sits back in his chair Hail the ship tell them were on our way, Then send a message to Starfleet HQ we are responding to it, set course max warp he says

Yes sir. Sets course for the Vulcan science vessel in the K149 system.Course and speed set Colonel. As she waited for the order to engage she started on the messages to the Booties System and Starfleet HQ.

She nodded and tapped her console the ship changed course and jumped to maximum warp. She also had sent the messages to the Booties System and Starfleet HQ updated them on there status. As she watched the stars rush by on the view screen she thought how interesting to meet some of her people from the home world. She had not been on Vulcan since she was born.

ACTION
We arrive at the K149 system a distress buoy is in orbit around the 4 planet, No sign of the Vulcan science vessel T'kahr, and it shows up no were else in the system, its either landed or crashed.
Sensors show a huge electric magnetic filed on the planet sensors cannot penetrate it, comm can't and transporting threw is not possible
