OOC: Speaking for Commander M. Moon, I apologize for not posting, I forgot my PW for the board. So, until i can remember, or get a new pw, I will post under this name -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Moon looked up just as the distress signal came in and the Colonel returned to the bridge. He looked toward Ops as he heard the Colonel return and re-take the center seat. He listened as a distress signal is picked up, the colonel ordering a diversion of course to source of the distress signal: the K149 system
He would nod at the Colonel as he spoke to him, about being needed "When on a vessel in Starfleet, one seems to always be needed to assist with a ship in trouble or some other activity. As for this other passenger, who is it that we are to pick up?" He did notice the Colonel had spoke of this new passenger as a she
As he waited for his answer, he watched as the ship cover the distance to the K149 system in no time, he also formulated an away team, if one should be needed

Moon nods as Hall explains the guest in question is the Planetary Govenor's wife and an old friend of the Colonel and the reason for pick up is to escort the woman to another planetary conferance. "I see. Let us hope that she does not have to wait long." He then grinned and spoke to the Colonel with obvious humor in his tone. I did not think you were a man to make a woman wait for anything."

He chuckles at the Colonel's response, noting his look around the bridge. A special young, and lovely, woman crossed his mind "Nor would I, sir, but I do agree; duty does come first, whether a marine or a naval officer. One rule I learned in command class, 'The first duty is to the ship' "

After looking over some sensor readings she looked back to the Colonel. Colonel we have arrived at K149. Sensors are picking up a distress buoy. It is in orbit around the 4th planet. Sensors do not pick any ship in orbit, given the type vessel it is possible that it crashed on the surface. Sensors also show a large electric magnetic filed on the planet. Sensors cannot penetrate it, Also it is logical to assume communications and transporting are not possible as well. She waited for his reply.

She zooms out then stops "I see 10 more ships down their 2 are defiantly Klingon D7 ships" she zooms in on the Klingon ships

He looks to Moon What do you make of this? he asks as he moves back to his seat

Moon's attention turned from Hall to the viewscreen as Doogan put the surface on screen, revealing the D7 class Klingon vessels, reporting what she and Ops' sensor readings "Intriguing" He said in response to Hall's question of what did he make of the situation, glancing to Hall as he moved to get a better look "Seems our mystery is deepening.
If communications and transportation is non fuctional, then I would suggest using a shuttle to go down to the surface. Also, I could use my telepathic abilities to see if there are any survivors." As he waited for the Colonel's response, he already started extending his mind outward, beyond the ship, toward the surface of the planet

OOC: ugh.. I am feeling lazy right now so...
Moon's mind reached the surface and found some telepathic contacts. As he walked into the Colonel's ready room, he looked a bit surprised and decided to wait to resport his findings at the meeting
Yuna looks up from the tactical displays as the Colonel gave her the conn. Her facial reaction matched Moon's as hwent into the Colonel's ready room "Yes, sir.." She replied
Also, down on the Marine deck, Sgt Jackson was doiong some push-up when the big man stated that he's in chargw until he got back. He gave a salute from the push up position "Yes, Sir!" he barked on Greathouse's back as he left
