She turned to look back at the Colonel. With respect Colonel at warp 7 it would normally take 1 week to arrive to the Epsilon Bootis system. But with the current Warp drive settings our ETA will be 1 week 6 hours 52 minutes 19 seconds. Sir.

Moon listened to the conversation between Hall and T'Leynti, then nodded as Hall adressed him "Yes, Captain, er, Colonel. It should give everyone ample time to get caught up from the last mission. Although I doubt it will be as boring as you are saying it will be. I doubt we well be sitting here." paused as T'Leynti spoke and quoted how long it would take to get to the Epsilon Bootis system "..the entire time."

That number one bit kept getting on his nerves but he didn't let it show. Instead he chuckled. "With this ship, our missions are never boring, Colonel. Trust me, I been here for quite some time."

She turned to Commander Moon. Sir I have been running Level 4 diagnostics to find out why Warp drive efficiency has been declining I am ready to report my findings to you if you have time or I will prepare a report and send it to you to view at your convenience. She waited for his response.

Moon looked from the viewscreen, with the blurry star field. to Lt T'Leynti's lovely Vulcan facial features. He gave a nod to her "I am ready to hear your findings, Lt, whenever you wish to share them. I always have time to hear reports, expecially.." He paused to think a moment. He was about to say especially when reports came from a beautiful woman, but with her Vulcan mind-set, he doubted she would appreciate his compliment. Perhaps thinking thinking of the more logical aspects of his impending compliment "..Go ahead, Lt. Perhaps Engineering could also be made aware of the declining warp effienciency and could assist in finding a solution."

I have kept engineering advise about the situation sir. It seems when the Tarawa received it's new armor upgrades that it was not taken in account how it would effect the ships gravimetric profile. To get to the point our gravimetric profile is effecting how the ship is traveling through it's warp field envelope. It is producing a type of drag. There is a solution but it would require the ship to drop out of warp and power down the engines in order to make the proper adjustments. She waited for his responce.

He nodded as T'Leynti informed him that she's been appraising Engineering of the situation, that the new upgrades to the defensive systems weren't taken into account, creating a hitch in the gravimetric profile, meaning it's creating a drag in the warp envelope "Thus expending more energy then we should while at warp." He commented as she finished. "I'll inform Colonel Hall. I am sure he'll just order us to drop out of warp." He said with a bit of a smile as he reached up and tapped his communicator "Bridge to Colonel Hall. We have a minor problem that will require us to drop out of warp for.. a couple hours?" He glanced at T'Leynti, questioningly silently asking her how long it would be to remain out of warp, as he went to explain what she had reported

He laughs hearing Moon then getting him self together he replies Take us out of Warp, go to full impulse, if needed full stop, notify SFHQ of our problem, I'll expect a full report in two hours he says.

Moon's left brow arcs upwards as he heard the laugh from the Colonel before he responded. He wondered what was so funny. Most likely something someone said that he is talking to in the lounge. No matter. He heard the Colonel''s orders, with the expecting a full report in two hours "Acknowledged, Colonel. Bridge out." He then nodded to T'Leynti, in case she didn't hear the Colonel "Reduce speed to full Impulse, All stop if necessary, then conduct all the necessary calibrations and adjustments."
He then turns to Wynn at Tactical "Send a subspace message to Star Fleet Headquarters, appraising them of out situation."

She is at tactical, looking over Tactical sensors when the matter of the defensive systems not being worked into the warp envelope is brought up. When she is asked to send a message to Star Fleet Command, her fingers glide over the tactical controls Yes, Commander. Preparing a message to Ctsr Fleet Command." She then turns to the Lt at Ops. "Defensive systems are at your disposal ma'am. Do you require anything from me?" She asked. As she waited for Ops to answer, she taps a key, reporting to Moon that the message has been sent

She was not exactly sure how long it would take but since the Commander had already said it would take a couple hours. She simply nodded in agreement with him not showing any concern that it might take longer. Aye Commander dropping out of warp and setting impulse engines to full.
She then looked to Lt. Wynn to respond to her question. If you would Lt. Wynn can you monitor the gravity field and advise me if the field exceeds 127 m/s over current velocity. I also need you to monitor the structural integrity for any projected failure points. She waited in case she had any questions.

She glanced to Commander Moon as he gave an acknowledging nod to the Lt at Ops, then she looked toward her as she looked to her to answer her question. "Yes, Ma'am. I can keep my eyes peels on the gravity field and the strucural integrity field. I'll give you an alert should the gravity field gets to be 125 m/s." Course, she knew Ops said 127 m/s. Best error on the side of caution and not get it too high before it becomes too much of a problem to handle. She glanced back to her control board to set up the required readouts
