I'm putting the Walking The Razor's Edge on hold as we have so many crew members on LOA. This is a Side Story called the Cloud
All Crew is at their Stations,While on a routine run all of a sudden the USS Tarawa is engulfed by a space cloud, With in seconds and before the crew can react the entire crew pass out, a minute latter the crew comes to, to find 1/2 the ships crew is comatose,
Including Col Allen MCapt Dorius Major Iverson Lt. Free all the Andorians
It is also discovered that, the engines are getting power but not working, this includes the ship's engines the fighters, shuttles, etc. The ship is at a stand still inside the cloud.
We must find out what has happened to the crew, what this cloud is and get the ships engines running.

He is standing at Tactical when suddenly the ship is enveloped in some type of cloud. He attempts to get tactical scans running to determine the composition of the strange cloud, but before he could get scans running, he blacks out
Several minutes pass before he returns to consciousness. He doesn't know how long he's been out. All he hears are several reports that the whole ship seems to have passed out. He gets to his feet to see Colonel Hall checking out Colonel Allen and Lt Doogan medically checking Lt Free. He looked over to helm as Hall ordered for the ship to be moved out of there and saw Zarlena still out of it. Telepathic scans of her would tell him that she is comotosed. He only hoped that she would be alright
Performing a quick check of the tactical systems would reveal nothing out of the ordinary. Leaping over his console, he moved over to the Helm control board, tapping a couple keys to get the ship to safety and away from the cloud. When he went to engage, the console gave him a buzzing sound. He raised a brow and tapped the engage key again, same buzzing sound and the ship didn't move. He then reported to Hall "Tactical seem to be alright, Helm control is unresponsive and so is MCapt Dorius, as she is in a comotosed state." He said the last bit as he started checking Zarlena for any physical injuries. As the Operations control board was close, he reached over and begin short range scans and general scanning of the cloud, then turns back around and checks Dorius

He didn't realize he passed out until he came too, looking up at the ceiling with a marine medic checking him over. "Ok, who blind-sided me?" he asked her, then realized that the whole deck seemed to have blacked out.
He heard Greathouse's booming voice over the chaos and confusion reporting to the bridge that several marines were KO'd. He tried to sit up when he was pushed back down by a protesting medic "please hold still, sir. I want to make sure you're uninjured."
He didn't argue

She came around with her head pounding, she realizing she was laying on the deck in the middle of the hall. "By the Prophets.." She muttered as she slowly sat up and looked up and down the hall, various crewmen laying or just sitting up themselves at various intervals
Despite her splitting head, she got to her feet to go help them, several of those that were coming too asking her what happened. She didn't know as she had just came to herself. She calls sickbay to report the injuries on the deck and her position, Deck 5. She then tapped her badge again "Yuna Wynn to any security personnel. Please respond."

A moment before, the viewscreen had shown only stars, now a haze had dropped over them, obscuring everything. Nemi had turned to Allen questioningly, then found herself on the deck, next to Hall who was now barking orders loudly enough to make her hold her hands over her ears. Listening to him, she began to understand, at least in part, what had just happened.
"Is there anything I can do to help, Sir?" She said to the XO as she stood. Her head ached. She wondered if she had hit it when she'd fallen.

Nemi did a physical check, lightly touching her scalp, looking for bruises or cuts.
"No obvious injuries, Sir. My head just feels muddled, like I was up all night studying for Academy exams." She gave him a weak smile.
Approximately half the crew unconscious. They'd have to prepare enough space to accommodate and treat as many as two hundred and fifty individuals. Was there a reason half of them had only been unconscious for a few moments while others remained so? Of course there was, she chided herself. She wasn't thinking clearly. It was as if the cloud had settled itself in her head.
"Understood Sir." She straightened and took a deep breath. "I'll report on conditions as soon as possible."

OOC> I know I have not posted anything for a while, but I have not been on a LOA. I have been checking back here constantly to see if the mission has resumed, been planning to go ahead and add some in the messhall, but I guess taking my time with it, and doing other projects since it has been so slow here.
I would of loved to have taken part in this, but was put into a coma instead.
