"Our physical location can not be tracked and incoming communications are not allowed, however, outgoing communications are still possible." She sipped at the wine while she considered. It was sweet with no hint of the anticipated tartness she'd expected from having been grown in more acidic soil. She picked up her multicorder and made a locational test scan. "As I thought. Scans are blank. We could not tell Dhivael of our location even if we wished too. Ie, we could approximate it." She interjected before anyone could suggest it. "But we could not provide an exact position, even though we have been here. This compound is well hidden. the question now is why?"
The door flap was pushed aside again and the woman who had served them their food came in. She smiled. "The others have all gathered and are waiting for you. Please come with me."

He looked at the readings on the multicorder. "Looks like we are about to find out what the intent is." As the Riov moved forward Renn let them get a few paces ahead and grabbed tr' Khellian's arm. "With our location being suppressed from scans our mission parameters have changed. He said in a hushed tone. Our first priority is to protect the Riov. Mystery or not this must take precedence."

He follows the Rivo after the woman returned and asked them to follow, he had to agree with Jerrod they were about to find out their intent.
He looks at Jerrod when he grabbed his arm, he arched an eyebrow and in a hushed tone he replies "I am always ready to give my life for my Rivo and Empire, as is any Rhiannsu" he says showing no emotions

Renn looked at Khellian. He was a young officer obviously by Rihannsu standard and he thought he might be overcompensating. "Khellian, you don't have to quote me rhetoric I've seen a recruiting poster. I know you want to be calm and logical, but you don't have to be a vulcan. I'm not asking you whether you are committed to doing your duty, I'm saying that we both have to reorder our priorities. Before it was this mission, now we need to be looking for any signs of danger first because warbird commanders are a rare resource and we can't lose one on our watch. He says in an attempt to explain his meaning.

He looked at Jerrod, he was Bajoran and not use to to the Rhinssau way
"The moment we could could not leave that building my mission became protect the Rivo 1st, then this mission 2nd and last when needed save au. But I understand what your getting at" He watches everything as they are lead to meet the others

Renn let his arm go and straightened out his tunic. He nodded to Renn, but the officer didn't bother to notice as he moved to catch up with the group. Renn knew when he was being talked down to, but it was not unexpected. He took a standard 'bodyguard' position and started to look around and memorized the way they came.

The woman led them toward the center of the compound. There was an almost electric feeling here that raised the hairs of Liordra's neck. The building they now entered looked nearly identical to the others they'd passed, although there were variations in size and shape. Though it may only have been a difference of function, something in the arrangement suggested a pattern to her.
An assembly of perhaps fifty men and women were inside. The three of them were seated seemingly as guests of honor and the man who had met them first stepped forward. He still exhibited the overwhelming charisma Liordra remembered.
"This is our colony." He gestured to the room. 'Though it was not we who asked you here, it is because of us that you were sent. This compound was built to shield us from discovery and to keep us safe from those who have threatened us.' He spread his arms in appeal. "We need your help. Our survival depends on it. I apologize for having intercepted you but this is a matter of greatest importance."
Despite the fact that they as yet knew so little, Liordra already felt she wanted to give them what they asked.

Renn had his emotions in place in spite of what was observed. A Bajor expressed himself with passion. He had left that behind and was looking at what at best could be described as 'generic' structure. The design favored his thought that these were military issue. Pre-fabricated, sparse but efficient. He turned his attention to the Riov. He has seen her many times and it was always the same: Focused on the task at hand and always questioning. What he saw in her eyes and the way she followed this man's words were disconcerting. Her eyes had softened, and followed him without hesitation or reservation. She seemed to barely noticed anyone else in the room.
Renn had decided that he would say nothing to the science officer this time. He felt if he were the 'man of science' he claims to be he would pick it up on his own. Instead Renn decided to move a little closer to the Riov. This would both allow him to be in a more protective position and find out what this person had to say.

"My name is Demhos. I represent our group of colonists. We have been on Belak only a short time. We came as all the others have, to claim a stake in this world and to leave our mark upon it, but we were not welcomed as the others were. Instead we have been persecuted." His voice was smooth, calm. Liordra floated in the warmth of his words as if suspended. Then, when he spoke of their persecution, she was immediately ablaze, ignited by the injustice. "All we want is to be left in peace, but this can not happen until the others can be made to understand that we are no threat to their own security." Ie! Ie! She wanted to shout, so full was she of the empathy she felt for their condition. Demhos's gaze and his force fell on Jerrod and Khellian. The man's attraction was magnetic. He carried the aura of a prophet. "I ask for your aid, to speak and act on our behalf."

Delon could see the Rivo was being drawn in by this man, when his gaze and force fell on him and Renn. It took all of Delon's training to not be drawn in by Demhos, the man's attraction was magnetic. He carried the aura of a prophet about him as Delon looked at him fighting it.
"Why would they threatened au?" he didn't like the feeling Demhos was giving off, it seemed to effect the Rivo more

{ This post was written by erei'Arrain Jerrod Renn }
Galan tr'Kraep walked the dank corridors of the Tal'Shiar Central Command building known as 'S'akhiy khfau(Dark Palace)". He had his hand resting in his tunic sleeves with the traditional black gloves on inside. Many felt the building was old and should be razed in favor of a new modern structure. Galan was not one of those people. While Galae, Tal Diann and other military arms, fought hard battles to get new buildings constructed it was only the Tal'Shiar whom fought to keep the one they had. It was the oldest of the military buildings. There could be a spirited argument as to whether it was the oldest building in the province. The Tal Shiar cherished information. Information was the key to power in the empire and there was more power and information in this building than any in the Empire. The past, the present and the future all came together in this one place.
It was even more of a delight for Galan. Galan was gifted with telepathic abilities and empathy. There was so much 'psychic resonance' in the palace that Galan could taste it. Fear tasted like spoiled fruit, anger like burnt stew, and paranoia tasted like metal. That was what he felt most of the time. It was something that permeated within the walls and outside the building. It was fear and paranoia that built the empire. Fear of that which would try to destroy them and paranoia from the 'will devouring' Iruhe. As he strode through the building the cool air moved across his face. It caused his mind to refocus on the task at hand. He entered his office and took his gloves off placing them neatly on his desk. He sat down as his aid walked in."Has the Dhivael reached its destination." Galan asked as he watched his aid get ale for him without prompting.
"Ie Rekkhai. They have reached the colony without incident." He walked over to the desk and poured the ale. He also put down the ISD containing all the information. Galan liked this aid and he was so easy to read, even without abilities.
"I want au to contact Khrein t'Vlack. Let her know what is going on. Let her know to observe but not to interfere. She might also want to keep her shields up." He took a drink of ale, savoring the sweet sting of flavor. "Bring in the toughest case you have in detention. I am in the mood to hear a confession."

Demhos smiled indulgently. "Small minds who conceive nothing but small ideas. When these ideas are challenged, others feel threatened and lash out at those they perceive to be at the center of that threat. Far beyond merely defending their way of life, they attempt to eliminate the threat through the most violent means. Imagine yourself in our position. We establish our colony. We offer what we have freely as a way to improve upon what has already been established and as a result they have tried to kill us.""
Anticipating the next question, he added. "Yes, the government here has tried to intercede and failed. That was why you were asked to come."

Renn had listened to what this man was saying drawn by his words, but feeling was all too familiar to him. He had felt the same way when he first became a Vedek and again when Dukat had spoken. This time it was different and he had sworn to never act on a feeling like this again so he stood, dumbfounded and quiet with his first clenched not sure why he felt the feelings he did.

The feeling that had gripped Liordra so tightly, gradually ebbed away leaving a pleasant sense of security. She bowed, first to Demhos and then to the assembly.
"I promise that we will do everything possible to secure your cause."
Demhos smiled and Liordra could not imagine anyone wanting to do this man, these people, harm.
"We will be in contact with you soon." he said..Liordra managed a nod.
In a blink, they found themselves back in a field. None of them had any memory of the compound or it's colony but each carried a sense of experience, like the fringes of a dream.
