A ship comes within range of the Terrasect and comes out of warp as it approaches them. When the ship comes within hailing range it opens a channel to them"USS Terrasect this is Captain Staff of the USS Hopkins. I have a passenger that wishes to come aboard that claims she has orders from the Field Marshal."

After hearing the reply. A Caitian with reddish brown fur and green eyes. Her main hung down past her shoulders appears on the view screen. "Sir, I am 1st Year Cadet Kefira from Starfleet Academy. The Field Marshal has assigned me to the USS Terrasect for some hand on experience in training, Sir."She awaits permission to come aboard.

As he waited for something substantial to be reported from the tactical officer, two things happened at once. One, the Engineering chief called up from Engineering and two, Long Range sensors picked up a ship on an intercept course
Returning to the Captain chair, he tapped a couple controls on the arm chair. He brought up the sensors and when the ID matched the ship as the USS Hopkins, his ears tilted forward, wondering what it is they wanted from the Terrasect. Guess he would find out soon
He tapped another key to answer the Engineering Chief "Thiss iss the brridge, Chief. Acting Captain Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns speaking. What inforrmation do you have to rreporrt"?
While he waited for the Chief to repond, the incomming hail came in from the Hopkins. Captain Staff saying he had a passenger directly from HQ, from the Field Marshall herself
He tapped a key to answer Staff "This is Acting Captain Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns of the USS Terrasect. The Passenger will be welcome to come aboard when you are within transporter range, Captain."
As soon as he responded, A Caitain female came on screen, his tail stiffened in surprise. He saw that she had reddish brown fur and from the looks of her eyes, they were green. His tail then spiraled a bit seeing there would be another felinoid officer to speak with
"Sir, I am 1st Year Cadet Kefira from Starfleet Academy. The Field Marshal has assigned me to the USS Terrasect for some hand on experience in training, Sir."
Greetings, Cadet Kefira. I am Acting Captain Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns" He greeting her in his Eeiauoan way, lifting his hand and extending the claws for a moment then retracting them "You are welcome to board. I see Field Marshal Weslynes has a bit of humor in her." Seeing as their is 1 Felinoid already on board, besides him, and a Canine as well "I welcome you to the Terrasect, Cadet"

She lowered her ears and her whiskers drooped down."Sir, sorry but I have not seen any humor in the Field Marshal. In my opinion she appeared to be very serous Sir."

The USS Hopkins came within transporter rang as Cadet Kefira made her way to the transporter room to transport over. It appeared no time that she find herself in the Terrasect's transporter room caring on duffel bag over her shoulder and a PADD in her paws. Stepping off the transporter pad she approaches."Sir, Where may I find Acting Captain Grab Foot Of ~ Two Dawns at? Sir"

His ears tilted forward as hers had drooped along with her whiskers. She told him that she didn't think the General had a sense of humor that she was aware of. In her opinion, the General seemed to be very serious. He simply nodded at her then asked her to report in when she got onboard
The communication ended and he turned to Commander Ijoula, who was still standing the Tactical station, and officer. "I thought the General had a sense of humor" He commented casually torward the first officer
The Hopkins moved up along side the Terrasect and dropped off the passenger. They spoke a few pleasantries and then left to continue with the mission they were on before they were diverted to the Terrasect
NPC Transporter Chief
The Transporter chief received his orders and the coordinates to beam the new person aboard and he done just that. When transport was complete, the chief just blinked and somewhat stared at the feline ~ another one? ~ he thought ~ we're being over run by cats ~
"Um.. The Acting Captain would be on the bridge, miss" he informed her

He would meet his glance and quirk a brow slightly, indicating more than mild puzzlement about Weslynes having a sense of humor. In his own dealings with her, he never got to see that side of her, as she had been all business. However, the thought only then crossed his mind about more felines onboard, and he had to strongly keep his poker face on to prevent the laugh that was trying to creep up on him, as he finally got what he meant.

"Sir, Thank you Sir."She walks out of the transporter room and looked both ways as if she was about to cross a busy road. She then turned and walked right into the turbo lift."Bridge."She felt the turbo lift jump as it headed there. She steps out, stops and jerks her tail up to prevent the turbo lift doors closing on it. She took one look around thinking things are indeed better standing on the Bridge then just looking at some data pictures from the computer and trying to imagine one being there. She then puts her duffel bag down and steps onward to Grab Foot Of ~Two Dawns and stands at attention. "Sir, 1st year Cadet Kefira reporting for duty Sir."

The only response he got from Ijoula was a slightly raised brow and a feeling of puzzlement from the Commander. He merely blinked at that. He glanced around at the others and they seemed to busy with their tasks to input an opinion
A few minutes later, he heard the TL door open and he looked over his shoulder at the female feline that he spoke with on the main viewer emerge from the TL
She looked around a bit to get her bearings before coming over and standing in front of him, taking an AA stance. He nodded when she introduced herself, again, as 1st year Cadet Kefira "As Acting Captain of the USS Terrasect, I welcome you aboard, cadet Kefira. You may relax" He said casually, then he glanced down at her.. PADD that she held in her hand

She stood at a parade rest and handed him the orders. "Sir, my orders from the Field Marshal Sir."The hair on the back of her neck stood up and she glanced around the Bridge again wondering if she was feeling some bad vibrations that was causing her hair to stand or was it just nerves.

She handed him the PADD that held his interest for a moment and he looked at it. Her orders stated that she is the new Duty Officer, and should help out where ever she would be needed the most. The General noted that she is new to Star Fleet and she, Kefira, requested hands on experiance rather then sit in a class
He didn't blame the cadet, class was rather boring at times, although this was highly unusual.
He glanced back at Kefira as she looked around a bit, as if nervous. His ears tilted forward again "Something wrong, cadet"? He asked, curiously

She spotted the other Caitian and thought she might be the one ruffing up her fur. She hears the Commander and turns back to him."Sir, Sorry Sir it will not happen again Sir"Swallows hard thinking she got caught.

His left brow rose and his tail spiraled a bit in humor at the cadet's response. He followed her glance as she glanced over to M'Leezz, who was at her station. He glanced back to Kefira "Relax, cadet" he said in a friendly tone "You are not in trouble"
He turned to the First Officer to gauge his reaction and ask "Where do you suggest we place our newest addition to the Terrasect?" with amusement in his tone

He would have to blink to snap himself out of a deep thought, one that under the circumstances, he better not give voice to.
"We do have both the science stations freed up, as well as the bridge Engineering station."
He couldn't think of any other positions that weren't already in use on the bridge, aside from the Mission Ops station.

AS the Captain answered him he could tell they were extrememly busy, in that light he spoke quickly "The engines power Consumptions are a little off, still within exceptable ranges. I would like to take them off line at your earliest Convienence ."

Engineering? Her right ear turned to hear him better and her eyes slowly moved to the right to see the Trill standing nearby. She turned to him and noticed his rank and then looked at Grab Foots rank."Sir, I do what duties is needed of me Sir."
