She brings her paws together near her helmet, lowered her head and stared at the floor as if she was praying. She was trying to think a way to get out of this and what she had learned before. Thinking that the Terrasect is out of Communications range by now she looks up at the Commander. "Antimatter Sir. If I remember correctly if something should absorb or eat phasers or energy then antimatter should destroy it or at least make it weak, Sir."

He nods toward the feline cadet.
"You're right.. Right now, I'm loathe to try to see if we can get this ship's torpedo launchers working at the moment... That drone might come after us if it picks up the system powering up...
I seriously doubt that this ship could handle anymore heavy hits...at least without a serious boost to structural integrity and shields."
He then presses a control on his wrist.
"Ijoula to team, check in please."

She was working on getting the ship's defences up but everytime that she tought she made headway the ship power fluxed and she was back at square one, Captain, every move we make to try and boost defence of the Terrasect the ship or object draining power from us just increases the instensity. We don't have enough power to launch any type of attack against them right now. She was not liking this situation that seamed to be just getting worse by the second. Hearing the away team on the other ship made her relize something that they might have a fighting chance with the other ship trying someting to get the power draining objects attention. So she still worked just as hard to get defences up but with a bit of calm in her movements.

He backs off the ship using thrusters only and sees the power keeps draining as it absorbed the phaser fire, "Sir Antimatter, Kirk or waz it Picard run into something like tat and used antimatter to beat it" he said as he tried to but distance between them

He reads the Calculations and, nods before taping his Combadge, instead of calling forthe Captain he paged the Tactical officer wanting to save time. "Engineering to Lt jg.Geathouse ..... " he hollared not thinking how loud it may be "I knows they are used for Navigation and not sure how Lt.Buford Hound will react but Usingthe Navigational Deflector Sheilds should work. Its the same principal as deflecting small dust particles and meteroids. I mean we aren't moving much jus' need to change the Frequencey I can give that to yas if you need them. 'course I knows we can't actually use the Deflector Sheilds.." Trails off Suddenly realizes he is Rambling

He started to hear static come across the comm unit for his suit as Greyhouse made her report about the power issues.
"Terrasect, do you read? I'm losing you..."
He checks the readouts for his transmitter system, and doesn't find any abnormalities.
"Away team to Terrasect, please respond...?"
He looks at Kefira, worry written across his face.
"I just hope they still have the visual telemetry link, so they can keep tabs on us...
Let's find a containment unit for that... that... whatever it is, and go find the rest of the team... Let's see if we can also get sensors online enough to see what's going on out there...
I just hope that the fusion reactors are still in good shape... We need some power over here if we're going to be over here for a while..."

Hearing that he got no response from the Terrasect she looked around once again and then looked back at Crio. "Commander, I do believe the Captain has taken the Terrasect out of harms range." Seeing they are near Auxiliary Command and takes a step in there. "Commander we need to do something that the crew of the Jackson has not tried. We all already know that it failed, so doing it again would not get us anywhere but dead and maybe the lives of others that comes to investigate after us Sir." She walked over to the main console and ran her paws over it to see what was working. "Sir, I get you power and weapons if that is what you want but what good would it do if it is useless against it?"

He looks at Kefira as she works and checks the readouts.
"It might work as a distraction so the Terrasect can attack that thing... The last report they sent said they were being drained of power... That suggests that they might not be able to get out of here, and that the power drain is affecting communications...
What about we rig a few torpedoes to emit a high-energy electromagnetic pulse, similar to what the crew here had to do...? That would give us a last resort option...
We do need to see about getting impulse engines so that we can move away from here... I am sure that we won't be able to survive a warp jump in the condition we're in here... at least not without a sizable boost to structural integrity...
Right now, I am also open to any options, no matter how far-fetched they might be.
We also need to get in contact with the rest of our team."
He nodded toward the feline cadet, indicating silently that if she had any thoughts, he would be open to them.

She looked over the console again and worked with what she could to get what he wanted. Knowing what she is about to say could put any Captain down-hearted. "Now remember you did say you were open to options no mater how far-fetched it could be. Well Sir, what if we fixed a couple of torpedoes with anti-matter instead of matter? This way if we do need to fire at one of them it would be different from what the crew of the Jackson done." She hits the console and a few lights flashed back on thinking she should rig the ship to do a matter anti-matter implosion. "Sir, How long ago was it when the Jackson encounter this problem Sir?

He thumped his tail on the deck, in frustration, as GreyHouse reported that there was not enough power to pull off an attack and the energy draining beam just in creases in intensity should she boost any defensive capabilities
He then noticed the link with Commander Ijoula was not as strong as it was. Audio and visual was being interrupted and in the space of a couple minutes the picture distorted so bad, he couldn't see anything Commander, we're losing you" He heard Ijoula's last transmission. It was broken and parts of it static but he understood that Ijoula said the same thing
He tapped a key, ending the helmet link and the screen went back to the blackness of space, with static. He heard the Lt at Helm speak up and without looking toward him he answered "I believe that Picard encountered something like this"
He was about ready to tell Grey House to open a hailing frequency, as he knew that would not use much power when he heard the Chief Engineer shouting again, but this time over Tactical's communications link. He listened to what he had to say, despite his ears ringing from his shouting. He reached up and massaged his ears a moment before he would comment to Grey House "Have him prepare the Navigational Deflector dish in case my next tactic doesn't work. Speaking of that, open a communications channel aimed toward the small vessel"
As she done so, he spoke up firmly "This is Captain Grabfoot of Two Dawns of the United Federation of Planets vessel, Terrasect. Identify yourself and explain..."
Before he was finished, he was interrupted by a message from the small craft

He ponders the cadet's thought.
"That might work. A straight anti-matter explosion packs a considerably larger punch than what we normally put into a photon torpedo warhead... But, I do have one question, cadet. What would work to get past that drone's newly enhanced shields? I'd imagine by now we're dealing with something no bigger than a target drone with shields now likely comparable with an Ambassador-class heavy cruiser..."
He trails off, thinking.
"...unless.... that's where an EMP would come in, to knock out the shield generator, and then your torpedo... I think you're on to something cadet. As soon as we make contact with the rest of the team, we'll get to it. Good work."
He pats her shoulder, and remembers her question about a time frame of the attack.
"I could be wrong, but probably within the last fourteen hours, give or take. I had just gotten to the Terrasect bridge when the distress call was received."

The Hail is accepted by the small unknown craft, which would active a communications device. Before Captain Two Dawns finished speaking, the craft would respond to his hail and thus deactivate the power draining beam

"Thank you Commander." Her idea would work but she did not inform Crio on restarting cold ship's engines with a matter anti-matter implosion would do to the ship. She was going to keep that idea in her head. As Humans would say..'An Ace in the pocket'... just in case it is needed. "Commander since this thing could detect power, for now I will keep everything off and work on repairs so that way when we do turn on the power everything will be working." Also was thinking of an old Electrician's way of not getting hurt. Turn the power off before removing wires so one will not get shocked. "Sir, while I am working on getting things repaired here, how about you go into the Torpedo Room and pick out a couple of torpedoes to be altered, Sir?" She had turned to look at him and wondered if she had stepped out of line again.

Craig walks steps off the lift and onto the bridge after taking a very long stroll around the ship. mainly cause he wanted to gauge how well this crew handles dangerous situations and such.
