He left the HoD-pu office and went to the meH. He stood near the console of the gamma shift operations officer.
"Open a ship wide com."
"HIja qah com is open."
"This is ra'wl D'herack, alpha shift is to report to the meH within the next 30 minutes. close com."
He stood there for a few minutes, knowing the HoD would enter after the 30 minutes passed. But he would note how long it took each to get to the meH.

She came up from the bowls of the ship were medical was located at using the most effective means to report to the meH and then walked on it. The call was pretty clear as to why they were going to be on the meH despite were duty stations were. So she entered saluted the ra’wl’ that called and then settled to stand off to the side were sciences were located. If necessary she could use an auxiliary control panel to contact medical and put the staff in their place if necessary.

Kev had slept fitfully seated on the rack in his quarters. When the call finally came, he had already heard it a hundred times over in his mind and had to shake his head to clear it, and make certain that this time it was real and not his imagining.
He had not changed out of his uniform, so all that was needed was to perform a quick ablution and make his way up from the junior officer's section.
He entered the meH and saluted the ra'wI', but as the gamma shift had not been dismissed, he stood back and waited for instructions.

She was finishing her breakfast when the message came in. She smiled a toothy grin, gulped down the rest of her raktajino, placing the mug in the reclaimer she walked out of her quarters.
As she walked to corridor to the TL her steps were brisk and purposeful. Finally they would begin the great and glorious path the bortaS would blaze across the universe. She arrived on the meH, saluting the ra'wl" she went to her console and relieved the gamma shift officer. She listened as he gave her the report, the entered her access code she went over the data from last night.

Kalore immediately began running scans of the area and shipas he studied the reports.

He was on his way from his quarters to the meh, already in the TL when the Ra'wl' spoke via intercom that all alpha shift beq report to the meh
Less then a minute later, he steps out of the TL, throwing a salute the Ra'wl then stepping over to the Tactical station, relieving the Gamma shift beq, noticing those already present

Kev watched as the others entered and relieved the gamma officers at their stations. He followed their lead then and did the same, watching to learn as much as he could.

As he went over the orders again he glanced at the time. Not much longer and the beq'pu should be at their stations. If they were late may Kahless help them because he would deal with them as well as D'herack.

Standing he left his office making his way to the meH.His gate was heavy and with purpose. His boots thudded heavily on the deck plating.Standing tall he walked across the meH and stood in front of D'herack locking his gaze into the Ra'wl's .

In a few minutes, Kev had finished running a standard station check. There was no mission data to review so he called up ship's specifications. There were standards and minimums set for every class, but each ship was different, it had it's own personality. These variations could prove critical in a battle where the ability to bear or to fire one more shot might mean the difference between victory or defeat.
He heard the swoosh of doors and the heavy heelbeat that followed. For the first time since Kev had come aboard, he was seeing more than a glimpse of the HoD. He realized he was staring and quickly covered up his reaction and saluted. He did not notice if others did the same, he was still watching as Molar stopped to speak with the ra'wI'.

He saw the HoD step onto the Bridge giving him the Salute then returned to his duties monitoring he ship systems. He was still on the Docks umbilical cord so monitoring the power flows was unlikely however, monitoring his systems was not.
