Saluting him back he kept his gaze on D'herack informed him of the beq'pu status.Nodding his voice was loud enough for everyone to hear."Very well take us out of docking and once clear of the shipping lanes make a course for the Volnar system warp 9.3."
He said nothing more and walked over to the command chair taking his seat.He made sure to look everyone on the meH in the eyes.

He walked over to the Qul, (doctor) to dismiss her. She was on the meH when the HoD entered for the start of their glorious journey. She knew it was important for her to do this, only officers not in engineering or medical, would be needed for the first entrance of the HoD.
"Qul, you are dismissed."
He walked over and took his seat next to the HoD, never once taking his eyes off the beq'.

His hearts raced when his eyes met first the the HoD's and then the ra'wI's. He felt briefly, the intensity of this moment through them, and stood more proudly.

He looked up when the HoD entered the meh, moving over to stare into the eyes of the Ra'wl', hearing the HoD's orders as he gave instructions to set course for the Vulnar system at warp 9.3
As he took his seat, his eyes locked with the Hod's for a moment. For that moment, he could see the fire, the intensity on his eyes. He growled softly, a fire starting to burn in his own eyes
He looked back to his control board, making certain shileds and weapons would be ready for what is to come, as the Ra'wi dismissed the Qul from the meh. He glanced over to see her departure

Finally at last the order came in. She sat straighter and her look become one of total concentration. As any pilot or helmsmen will you the hardest part is leaving, and in this case, docking. She heard humans say that any landing you could walk away from was a good one. How very true then and now.
"Station Operations this is la Arishela of the bortaS requesting instructions for departure."
A moment later, "This is Station Operations, you are to go to impulse until you reach the end of the shipping lanes. Qapla' bortaS."
She undid the mooring lines, then removed the umbilical line. The bortaS, would for the first time, under HoD Molor provide life support for the beq'. In her mind with a new ship such as this one, this was truly the first test. And he performed well.
She brought engines on line and again he was tested and passed. She began to move him out on his own power, he began to move out of the docking ring as only a vessel like him should. Those watching him would see a vessel leaving that stood tall, proud, and eager for that lay ahead of them. There was no hesitation in his movements as he gained speed.
They reached the end of the shipping lanes. "qaH, we are at the end of the shipping lanes getting ready to engage warp engines."
The order was already given and there was nothing standing in the way. She engaged warp and brought him up to 9.5. The star field blurred for a moment and then settled into clarity.
"qaH, we are at warp 9.5, on heading and everything is excellent. He is performing better then anticipated."

After saluting the HoD she heard the Ra’wl’ and growled a bit at him before leaving the bridge and going back down to medical. It wasn’t a challenge growl but more of a growl of discontent in having to been called up based on ceremony when her staff could have benefited from her presence at the launch instead of her being on the meH for no reason.
Going to the lift she slammed the panel to get the lift to go down to the medical area of the ship. The lift carried her to the proper deck and she made her way to medical. Carrying herself in there with purpose and rather abruptly enough to get the attention of the medical staff for just a moment. Everyone looked at her before one of the orderlies gave her a report as to what all was going on.
The report wasn’t even done she heard the comm. and responded to it using a wall panel.
“Medical to meH reports ready.”
With that she shut the comm. off and growled that growl the staff knew that she meant business so they all got back to work and left her alone. She went to the medical office to start the task of sorting out records her way.

Kev listened as both security and engineering responded, though they chose to address the ra'wl' rather than the Operations officer. No one however, challenged his authority directly. He knew that Kalore had not been granted it and that it had been assumed and Kev did not understand why Kalore was being allowed to overstep those bounds. He lowered his voice and growled.
" I did not hear the HoD or the ra'wI' order a status report, and so will not answer unless I hear that order from an officer who has the right and the authority to ask for it. "

OOC: I received a message that the HoD will be on LOA for a few days to approx 2 weeks. During this time I will be carrying on the mission, and may side track to a lesser one. Now back to the SL.
Current posting
He listened to the incoming reports and nodded at the efficiency of the beq'. He could tell most were seasoned.
"All stations continue status reports." He watched the view screen as the ship made his way to the shipping lanes and then jumped into warp. He leaned forward slightly placing his hands on his thighs as he listened to the incoming reports.

"Our ETA on present heading and speed is 3 hrs 33 minutes."
She felt the feel of the ship as only the trained skills of a helmsmen could. Arishela began to memorize these tiny quarks and vibrations. Nothing would pass her watchful glaze and attention to the details of helm.

Kev watched all the routine scans, sorting through the mass of data that flashed across his screen. "Science reports all systems operational, ra'wI'. He placed an emphasis on D'herack's rank in acknowledgment.
