The Captain walks into the empty bay which had previously been used only for auxiliary storage. Desks were now arrayed in a circle around the room. Each had a computer terminal and the other standard school room supplies. A mini-view screen was placed in the front with assorted educational tool and artwork arrayed around the walls.
The room seems lonely without the presence of its students or the teacher who were now awaiting them at Jupiter Station. As the Andorian is standing in front of the room the door to the bay opens with a soft rushing sound. In steps a female Lieutenant in engineering gold. "Captain," she says as the door closes gently behind her. Her tone is professional, but her look is of something more.
"Lieutenant Rogers," replies Shran with the same tone. "May I help you with something?"
She hesitates before speaking. "Shran, you haven't come to see me since you... since your promotion."
Shran's antennae twitch slightly as he looks at her attractive smiling face. He imitates a small human smile as he starts to walk toward her, but stops. "Tiffany, whatever it was that... I mean," he looks down at his feet for a moment before looking into her eyes. "Whatever we could have been... together, you know that we can't pursue that. I am your commanding officer, now. It would be inappropriate."
"I know," she says, "I guess I just needed to hear you say that." She runs up and hugs him, an embrace which he returns briefly before they break apart. "Thank you, Captain... Good-bye, sir." She turns and walks toward the door.
"Good-bye, Lieutenant." He nods once to her before the doors close behind her retreating back.

Darryl was laying on a table, his hair removed from most of his head, his amputated arm from the disasterous away mission still detached, and laying beside him.
Quitely, softly, almost as if the power needed to make the lights function were not available due to some internal blockage, the indicator lights flickered. He was not concious, nor was he unconcious. He was recording what went on around him that he could hear and feel. His eyes were closed, as if he'd just laid down to sleep the moment before.
Excpet he had been like this for some time. The engineer who had been working with him had to do so in their spare time, as what he had requested to be done was not something directly related to either of their job functions.
His stated desire was to become more human, but to do that, he had to become a self learning, self adapting, and more self aware than just calculations to a pre-ordained responce. What he was having done was a radical change in his programing. There was not a protocol for him to learn responces which were unexpected from watching others, nor did he have a way to learn from self discipline. What he was recieving was a new update to his personality matrix which would give him that sense of self awareness which he so craved.
Unfortunately, the initial download had not gone well, and several of his protocols had been disabled which were required for him to perform his job functions properly. Thus the cause for the extended stay in engineering.

Cindy Enters the Security area she looks at Security Guard "Counselor Hannover I'm her to see Aidan" the guard nods and has Cindy place her thumb print on a PADD then she is taken to Aidan's cell
The Guard drops the force filed and she enters, the field goes right back up, she walks up to Aidan "How are you Aidan?"

As the dream he had ended, the one he had about Cindy, he started to wake up with a pounding headache. He reached up and grabbed his forehead with a pained groan. He mutters to himself "Anyone get the license of that speeding semi"?
He then heard a voice and everything came rushing back to him. He opened his eyes looked around, seeing he was the brig area, instead of the bridge. He was half expecting to wake up in the 28th century with the time traveler person telling him that he had failed and must go back and try again to convince the Captain to not follow the Ferengi ship. He was glad that something else must have happened and the ship was not destroyed
He saw the counselor enter his cell and he tried to raise up into a sitting position but his head had other ideas so instead he stayed laying down. As the counselor approached and stood next to him, her nearness caused him to feel a tingling throughout his body
"Forgive me, counselor if I dont stand and greet you like a gentleman" He then heard her ask how he was "Truthfully, I feel like I been clubbed over the head with a two by four. Between the captain's elbow/back hand and Clyde's firing on me with his.. phaser, my head feels like it's about to explode"

She smiles at him "That's quite all right Aidan" she sits on the other bench "Yes I'm sure you head hurts,thou I'm sure Clyde didn't want to shoot you"
She lifts her PADD and crosses her leg "You were saying we were going into a trap? why did you think that?" she says as she looks at him "And that we would all die? and you were trying to prevent us from dieing?" she says

He looked at her, after she asked her qestions, seeing her sitting close to him with her leg crossed. He always liked that seated position a woman takes, crossing one leg over the other
I believe it cause it actually happened, believe it or not. We went to rescue the Denebian ship from the Ferengi. The captain ordered them to stand down, they said ok and took off in the other direction. We followed then and they headed for this nebula cloud that sensors couldn't see through. We followed then in and through and what met us on the other side was 12 more ships and they all started firing on us. We took a beating, more then this ship can handle before we could abandon ship, the ship went boom
Now, here's the shocker. I wake up in this very bright room and someone told me that some dude went back and changed history and the time line isnt supposed to be. The person went back to the point where Clyde went and killed the dude and he stood trial and the person I talked to said the perp purposely rigged his phaser to kill and kill the person he killed and thus sent things off in another timeline, one that isnt supposed to be. So he sent me back here to try and fix the timeline but he couldnt send me back to the point where the phaser was jury-rigged but I ended up at the point where we got the distress signal
He then remembered something else the future person told him "Oh. he also stated that Captain Shran wasnt supposed to resign as Captain and if we all wanted to start looking for clues, to start looking around the Orion homeworld"
As an after thought, he'd mutter "This almost reminds me of "Back To The Future"
He watched her to see what her reaction might be. he was half expecting her not to believe him. Hell, he still doesnt believe it himself

She listens as she reads the report, from the Marine who took Aidan to the brig her eyes widen, she then views the security tape and sees Aidan as a small smile crosses his lips as he muttered
" ...cindy..." followed by more indecipherable muttering
She looks at him, "That would be a bit hard to believe you could be making it up, as you have already time traveled" she says she has a Stern look in her eyes, she looks back a security tape
"A time traveler framed Lt Greathouse just to cause Captain Sharn to resign?" she asks as she looks back at him her eyes were still Stern but not as much
"Tell me about this Man, and why you and not the Captain or XO?" she asks

He watched as a security officer bring something in for the counselor to view and from her body expressions, she looks a bit surprised and not really too happy with what's on it
He smirked a bit, noticing the stern look she gave him "If I was making all this time travel business up, then I dont think I would be here talking to you. I think I would be back in the early 21st century living what life I had then, which wasn't much"
"A time traveler framed Lt Greathouse just to cause Captain Sharn to resign?" the counselor then asked, her stern expression softening a little bit, but not much
"Yes, ma'am. That' what I was told when I visited the 28th century" he then furrowed his brows and blew an impatient breath out when the counselor asked "Tell me about this Man, and why you and not the Captain or XO?"
"That's a very good question, one I don't know the answer to. I guess it was for that very same reason you mentioned before, that I had already time jumped. I'm still asking myself Why me, and not someone else when I first got here. Clyde told me that I was brought here to meet up with the woman I am destined to be with"
He shakes his head, chuckling a little, in disbelief

"You have no Prof you were in the 28 century, you could have had a hallucination or a dream, a product of trying to adjust to this time" she says

He nods as she said that was an interesting theory of why the person he met picked him but then how would he know that he traveled through time?
He shrugged, not knowing the answer "Again, Counselor, I don't know. All this time travel stuff is kind of like a dream come true for me, something I never thought that would happen. Granted, I had fantasized about it when I was growing up but then that's all I ever thought it would be, just fantasy. Maybe he has some history book, or some kind of book that has me in the 21st century and then I end up here in the 24th or he himself is a time traveler just jumping from point to point, just observing historical moments, something which I had fantasized about" He smirks, thinking that she's gonna think he is nuts, then heard her mention that's we'll talk about Clyde's theory on his destiny later. He merely nodded at that
As far as me having some hallucination or dream about me going to the 28th century, that could be true too, but the fact that the Ferengi had given us the pounding of out life and the ships explosion and me dying, that all felt real. As real as when I awoke in the very bright room with the dude in the 28th century. At first, I didn't believe him but then he convinced me otherwise.

He listens to her and scoffs a little when he heard her say that love is a dream, nodding in agreement and saying, cynically. "Yeah, lasting love is a dream that will never come true, but as far as having dreams that you can actually smell, touch and go as far as injure yourself, i've never had one of them and I hope I don't"
Course, he held something back. He had the ability to go out of body, where your spirit leaves the body for a short time but must return after a set amount of time. When he does travel out of body, he sees things as if they were in a dream state
He glanced down to her PADD, seeing her enter some notations, asking "What did he say or do to convince you that you were in the 28th century"?
"All He told me is that I had died in the explosion with the Ferengi and just as the ship was about to explode, he pulled me out of time to his time and told me about the dude who went back to frame Clyde and mess up one set of events. Who was I not to discount what he said. I would have asked for proof of what he said but I wasn't there long enough"

Looking at the cell door "Guard could I get some Ice Water?" she yells looking back at Aidan "Would you like anything?" she asks him

He nods when she asks the first two questions again, two that he had already answered previously, noting that she uncrossed her legs, crossing her other leg over the one she previously had crossed. He felt his breath hitch for a moment before returning to normal "yes, ma'am" confirming what he had already told her
When she asked her last question to him, licking her lips in the process, his mouth and throat suddenly went dry and and he fought to keep the question in his mind before it slipped out "Um.." was all he can manage before she turned and yelled for some ice water. turning to him and asked if he wanted anything
A couple things popped in his mind at the same time but he disregarded one of those thoughts before it went too far "Water would be good for me too" was his response
The guard came in and handed the counselor and him some water. He thanked the guard and proceeded to drink most the glass in one gulp
He sighed in relief as his throat felt a little better, then focused back on what the counselor last asked "What Happened to the me that was there already when I was put back there a second time?" He shook his head, having no clue what happened to the other him and he told her "I have no clue as to what happened to the other me. Perhaps we... merged somehow into one me. The me that has.. have.. had the knowledge that this ship was gonna be blown up if we continued to follow the ferengi ship and was given the knowledge that this time line is the wrong time line, according to the dude I talked to. I have no way to know he is lying but he sent me back to try and change things for him"
