She entered sick bay going to her office. She sat down with a grunt and a low growl. There was so much to be done, now shes called back to the Empire. At the rate this is going she will become that human toy what was it, ah a yo-yo.
She read the reports they had so far. The first one was on the inventory, then staff scheduling which she was sure would be changed as soon as the new CMO got here. She signed off on the reports and then make one for the new CMO.
Explaining how she had things set up, and about the staff in general. Getting up she went to check on the body that was found on the old ship. She listened to Lt Christinne give her report, nodded and then began another scan of the body. And ordered a battery of test to be preformed. Since there was nothing else to do for now she left, returning to her quarters to finish packing her gear.

Andy entered sickbay first. He wasn't holding his groin but he was not walking normally. he had remnants of the fight on his head and cheek. He smiled at a few nurses who turned their head in surprised.

Thames followed and was less sbutle with the nurses and techs. He had a noticable limp and was holding his side. He slid on the biobed waiting to be attended.

Moments later she had arrived at sick bay and walked in. She spotted and right away and walked over to him she had seen Lt. Thames as well. Looking at both of them she had an idea what might have happen. She stood next to Andy with no expression on her face. " Are you alright Sir?" She did not call him by his name to show him respect in front of the Sick bay personnel.

Andy knew that Winter's appearance was two fold. One was to access his condition, the other was because in his zeal to deal with the Thames issue he had been late for their dinner. Though Winter was far from a typical Vulcan one thing that she did have in common with all of her people was punctuality. Wasting time was considered a sin to them. Even though they outlived humans by many years, they never want to waste a moment of that. "if you are asking if I'm in pain, only slightly. If you are asking am I dying or debilitated, no." He smiled hoping to lessen the blow.

She raised and eyebrow at his statement. " I am sure the General will be most pleased with that news sir. I do not think she would favor the prospect of having to find a new Executive Officer." She said in a ironic tone. " If I may make a reasonable request sir. The next time you have more important matters to attend to, if you would be so kind as to inform me so I may do something more constructive with my time." She put her hands behind her as she looked at him.

Ethan looked at the two officers converse. Though he could not here what was being said, he was sure that it had something to do with the brief discussion they had after the fight. He smiled inwardly. At least he was getting some semblance of comeupance.

Andy had hoped she might wait till they were in private, but apparently she was annoyed enough to bring it up then and there in front of the medical staff. Andy's normal reaction would be to get angry and let the argument begin, but he had learned a thing or two from his mate. So he changed his approach. "I meant no insult by my absence. In all honesty, I had hoped to have the other matter taken care of with enough time to fulfill my other obligations. He gave her a smile that he saved only for her. However, I am still honing my 'time management ' skills. I didn't have such a demanding schedule as Chief of Security. However you can be assured that completing that obligation will be at the top of my list.

She was annoyed because he gave her that smile of his and she could not be upset with him. An all too common misconception is that Vulcan's lack emotion. It is merely that Vulcan emotions are controlled, kept in check but Andy had his way of making her release her emotions. She tried not to smile back by moving her lips. "Well sir I am also pleased you are not dying or debilitated. If you wish when my duty's permit it I will help you on honing your time management skills. If that is acceptable with you?"

I would prefer that you stay till the doctor was finished. I have a few things we need to discuss about the duty rosters. He gave her a curious grin.

Before Andy could respond a Med tech walked over and asked him a few questions running a medical tricorder across his body and used the dermal regenerator. The officer new better than to ask what happened. All done Major, sorry for the wait. Is all she said and walked away.
Shall we go over those reports in my office? He said as he got off the biobed.
