Looks like I have finally stumped the experts. The answers are:
1) "Shore Leave" is the only episode in which the U.S.S. Enterprise is seen orbiting a planet from right to left.
2) The I.S.S. Enterprise also does this briefly in the parallel universe, in the teaser to "Mirror, Mirror", but by the beginning of Act I, it is again orbiting from left to right.
New questions:
1) Who's child was the only one that was not of a mixed species, had a role in one of the series and went to star fleet academy.
2) Who did Minster Campio decide not to marry when she was walking up the asile?

Mirror, Mirror was my first thought of course but after reviewing, I never saw the alternate Enterprise, only the USS. There was also the "And" in the second part of your question which implied the two parts were related and there was no "alien" ship present unless you meant the ISS?
